@melissa1arango I am sorry I took so long to get back to you. My youngest son has autism and he can be a handful and I totally forgot. The measurements are 26 inches in the waist unstretch and the hips are 32 inches unstretch. The dress has spandex in it to stretch to a size large like the tag says but I think it would be a little tight so that's why a medium would be better but for a size small it would not stretch at all it would fit perfectly and you can tie the straps tighter
