jayjune@smilesourires11 hi! Waterproof would indicate that they could be submerged in water for any length of time which is not recommended. These are hand dyed, hand cut, & hand crafted with genuine leather so while they are water resistant meaning for example you had it on when it rained, they are not waterproof meaning for example they shouldn't be worn while you're swimming. Hope this helps but please don't hesitate to ask any other questions!

jayjune@sbanders Ok so coincidentally my father in law who handmakes the watches to order contacted me to let me know that this particular timepiece (Xanadu) is currently out of stock. He has ordered them and is expecting them in next week or 2. He did say in regards to your question that if your Bulova timepiece is the same physical size as the Xanadu timepiece it will fit should you wish to replace it. I would be happy to let you know when these become available to me again if you are interested.
