Thanks @yahiva01! That's close for me...I have a 38" chest. Depending on designer, it can work...but often H&M doesn't. It depends on armhole and shoulder construction. So I'm a little unsure! I'll see if I can measure something similar. Thanks again!

@yahiva01 yes that would be a big help! I'm a 36D. I have a sort of "reverse triangle" build...like a man, but with 34D bra size. (I can be seen modeling "BCBG dress" and a couple other things in my own closet...if you don't want to, it's ok, but it's easy to see my build if a comparison that's helpful to me results!)

@yahiva01 thanks very much for the photos, it's very helpful. I see in the description that you mentioned the 'open armpits', I think I didn't quite process that until I how how open they are in the pics. I'm scratching my head over that a little...I guess I'll think it over a bit. I once went to a rare Comme des Garçons sample sale and bought a couple jackets at prices similar...the construction is amazing. Thanks for your help so far.
