ffgal Very frustrating. I've done my part to purchase, I'd like to see the Seller committ to the sale. but I've had a couple sellers take forever then Poshmark cancels. Is there anyway to keep the seller committed to the sell especially after money has come out of my account? Poshmark has always been very prompt at crediting back my purchase price, Thank you!

styledbuyv This is amazing! My question would be... As we all know, buying wholesale can be very pricey so all my retail items are firm unless bundled. How can you get a sale when someone low ball offers you or asks you to reduce for them? Other poshers see that selling price and then it is not fair to bend the price for only one customer. Suggestions?

styledbuyv I normally politely tell them that the price is firm and then I throw in perks like "I ship same day, wrap beautifully, include a discount code to shop my closet again and include a small free gift as a token of my appreciation" sometimes it works but it's usually 50/50. Thank you!!!

maggiedcloset Tracy would there be a way in the future for sold items to move to the end of the page? The reason I ask is I have quit a bit of items I'm Obsessed with posh and hope to turn it into a business but whenever I sell an item they end up all over my page it would be nice is there was a designated area. shilily Hi, if I sold a clothes, and it showed that the buyer already got it, but she was too busy and then forgot to rate. Therefore I have no rate of this clothes, if that's happened, could I still get my money without any rate? Thax

jerseyfashion29 Love Poshmark! Like others here have said, I would like to see a lower shipping fee for items under $10-$20 or really lightweight items. I feel as though the $5.95 shipping fee does deter buyers when it comes to buying items that are priced $20 and under. Is there anyway Posh could offer some sort of tiered shipping fee system based on how much a seller buys? Thank you!

treasure4sale So grateful to Posh!! I think it would be helpful to sellers if the fee was a flat 20% across the board so we could sell items under $15 for a little less. This would allow us to consider helping buyers with the increased shipping price. I do understand that the volume of sales would need to have potential to offset the decrease in revenues from flat fees. Is this a possible consideration?

treasure4sale Is there a reason certain primarily retail closet(s) are able to generate discounted shipping for an hour on every listing and sometimes even quote what the discount will be before creating the customized listing? This is true even after the changes to the price drop feature.

biddy719 @jerseyfashion29 I saw your comment about lower shipping on low priced/lightweight items. I understand the frustration. I have changed my bundle discount from 10% to 20% - the 10% increase in the discount will more than cover the increase in shipping. I just give the buyer a better discount so that they don't feel the shipping increase. And I have a very low priced closet. half of my closet is under $10-Low cost high quality! I want ladies to have the items they want at the lowest possible cost.

tonistwinkles @pm_editor Tracy, I'm thrilled that I will get to join in on this and hear you "speak" about all things retail, etc. My questions; I heard that the app will have a new update soon that allows a buyer to select S,M,L etc. When will that be implemented? Also, would it be possible to create "pinned posts" at the top of our closets in the near future, Like Facebook and Twitter have? lrmarsack Yes! I would love to begin selling retail on PM, but I don't want to be breaking any laws. I know PM cannot really give tax advice, but a point in the right direction would be helpful! Esp if trying to buy wholesale someplace other than the PM portal. Bc of the unique PM selling platform, I'm unsure how to categorize what selling retail on here means in my state. I know there is no sales tax on PM, but don't you need a state license/business EIN to buy from wholesalers?

lrmarsack Also, I use USPS for shipping everyday for my job, and PM definitely got a good deal for their shipping rate! It is crazy how much USPS increased their prices, and I appreciate PM snagging a deal for us! The only cost I am curious about is the fee for items $15 or under. It makes it harder for sellers to turn a profit, and buyers more leery to pay shipping for such a low cost purchase. Is there perhaps a flat rate fee that would work better across the board for sellers, buyers, and PM?

ejeveryday @pm_editor I'm now adding retail items to my closet. How many retrial items are required to be Boutique? Will I automatically become a BOUTIQUE and show up on the BOUTUQUE feed? Or do I need to send notification to Posh?

tanyaportillo @supremebitxh_ hey! So you get the money as balance in the app and then you can transfer what who you have into your bank acct by direct deposit or you can request a check! On the home screen of the app click on the the bottom right profile icon, then scroll down to "my balance" and choose the option there. Hope this helps!

alyssw12 I am curious about the boutique status as well. How does that work? Do you have advice on how to get more traffic to your closet? I've been quite successful as far as my own items but have been trying my hand at the retail side and have not had much luck. I see a lot of closets that are very successful with selling retail and I'm curious what I could be doing differently. (I share like crazy, have clear photos and informative descriptions, I am a suggested user and have hosted two parties. )

tanyaportillo @nomoreshines @poshboutique16 Poshmark does not send out any tax forms. You as a seller (retail or non retail) have to do the research yourself and know the requirements of your state. I highly suggest speaking to an accountant on this subject as they know the laws regarding resale of used clothing and retail within your state. Again, it is up to you to find out what is required from you when filing taxes! Hope this helps!

myirelandrose I have used the wholesale portal and had some poshers discount the items to at or below what I paid in the portal for them! I am all for competition but cannot buy items that will be sold by others for lower or at what I paid for them from the same supplier.

euphoriallc @lrmarsack I was reading some of these. Can't help with state, but I work for the irs and can help with federal. No ein required. Unless you make a huge profit, it's best to track your profit and claim it as a hobby. If you are lucky enough to make a lot, you will need to claim it as a sole proprietor.

bvmarket Like others have mentioned, I would like to see the app updated to include a multi quantity and multi variation feature. The flat rate shipping is great on an item more than 1 lb, but for items 13 or less, 1st class would be less.

voguerecycled The retail features need updating...it is next to impossible to have a separate listing for each size... It's possible to create listings one by one but VERY time consuming. Add to that the amount of sharing we need to do already and s too much. A drop down selection feature is ESSENTIAL. This way buyers SELECT the option & leave the listing in tact. If your going to do retail do it right or stick to pre loved single listings

So I've recently reapplied & am still waiting to hear back. voguerecycled @paperbackbtq I have been after posh for years to add a drop down menu so buyers can select a size. It's too much hassle to not only create so many separate listings but the real is sharing so many...I don't have that kind of time. As it is sharing and share groups take up soooo much time. I'd rather be focusing on finding new items and shipping quickly. I don't think posh is quite equipped for retailers.

loveangel15 Would the Poshmark inventors be able to make an update for when you have Inventory on the way but not here yet. Sort of like reserving the item for them but with more commitment. An example of this would be the buyer buys the listing, Poshmark takes 50% of the money owed and puts it away and then when we get it in stock takes the other 50%?

jeweledonyx The wholesale portal IS clearly delineated, the brands clearly from the portal - there are many other places to buy wholesale. OTOH all over Posh RETAIL signs are popping up on VS, COACH, MK, etc.- there's a clear difference in NWT & NWT RETAIL, It hurts retailers & resellers alike. Please explain the difference and what Posh will do to ensure the line isn't ignored please? Thanks-Kaye💕

memomarlyn Hi , can't wait for tonight, can you develop a way where new buyer can't see what the previous buyer paid for the same item ? This would help so much. When a buyer see what a previous buyer paid they want to pay the same price. I'm the leader of a share group and I give our members a wonderful at cost price. When a non member sees what I charged they want the same discount. When they use the offer button I have to them a denial . 🌵🌴🌳🌲🌱I truly believe this is affecting my sales. $$$$

memomarlyn I've seen items being offered as Retail when they are not. Example a JC Penny brand being offered as a retail. We know that it can't be. Is their a way to fix this ? It's hurting Retail sales.

habanera87 I want to recommend an improvement for the app. At the time of making an offer or liking an item the buyer should be notify of the poshmark fees on that item. That way that will avoid low offers. I think sometimes the buyer forgets that the seller is not to te all of the profit.

bellagibson I'm not sure if this was already mentioned, but I would like to know if you're establishing a way for a seller to rate their buyer. I have gone over and beyond for my buyers. There are buyers who don't communicate well or they take their time to accept their package. I understand if they're out of town and have communicated that, but there are buyers who just ignore my messages and aren't easy to work with.

cultoftees @pm_editor Having been a traditional brick & mortar retail/boutique store owner in the past, I can understand the frustration of current PM retailers in not having a size/style variation option available per listing. But this type of feature would require a monumental platform change to incorporate POS data input feature and inventory tracking using backend programming, wouldn't it??

yassic 1) In terms of retail, I saw identical items priced differently in a show room for that brand. Some guidance on pricing would be helpful. 2) Pls. do something about your suggested user program. I've been an outstanding member for 4 yrs. I'm a party host, and I share like crazy. Yet I see newbies, posher who hardly share, have sloppy pictures, or others who are closing their closet being suggested users. I'd like to be considered. 3) I would love reduced shipping fees on light or low cost items.

loveangel15 @215posher My problem exactly. It sucks when you try so hard to do everything right for your buyers and then they end up flaking. The buyers have so much protection, but I feel like the sellers don't get the same treatment buyers do. I feel like this change would make a huge difference.

yoga4joy @treasure4sale hi there I saw your question and it's only been on posh for about 2 months now but in my experience if you want to offer discounted shipping to a buyer you can go ahead and create a special listing for them, list the item at 30% above your asking price, then discount after you tag the buyer in the new post. Usually posh will offer reduced shipping. I do this for all of my customers! :)

modaragazza Thank you for doing this! I would like to see sellers get more support while dealing with open cases. I had a very bad experience with support for almost a week and a half.. I sent numerous messages and yet even though everything was 100% accurate from my vendor/listing on my end.. the customer won. It makes no sense that there's more support for obnoxious customers than your honest, hard working sellers. If I had gotten the support requested & needed.. I wouldn't have gotten scammed by a buyer.

dmwing5 A great add would be a more detailed profile information section about the posher that owns the closet. Many do an "about the posher listing" but depending on how many listings the person has, it gets lost. Some drop downs or free-form fields if the person is a trader, type of seller (personal closet, business, etc.) style preferences (bohemian, 90s grunge, rockstar, 80's punk, etc. etc.)... Just a couple examples

aelalea I'm new to selling retail, and sometimes I have doubts about the quality of an item because it isn't my size and I can't try it on and test it myself. Is it better not to list items I am not completely sure about? If a buyer is unhappy, does Posh have any rules that prevent me from mailing free replacement products to my buyers at my own expense?

dejavucloset Hello, I've been browsing the Q&A and it seems majority have the same issues. One I have not seen is Closets with no activity. I put several different offers in a several closets and do not get a response. I feel if someone is inactive for more than a month their account should be inactivated if they want to start selling again they would need to re-activate their closet. Other apps do this and I think it's a great idea to clear out people who no longer sell on PM.

prichards96 I have one retail item up for sale. I looked up other poshers who are selling the same item as me, and they all have the price either the same or lower than me. This is frustrating because people who are interested in my item can just look it up and see other poshers selling it for almost nothing! Maybe the MSRP of the retail sellers be mandatory to keep in say a $5 range? It's hard to sell when other people have it out there for much less, and if I matched their price I would be loosing money !

With the 20% that posh takes and the shipping costs, it's next to impossible to make a profit on the retail items I'm selling, especially when poshers are selling at lower prices. brittanyyhagann I would loooove for there to be a faster/ easier way to share items. Sort of how you hold your finger down on what you want to pin on Pinterest and it gives you the option to send, pin, or like! I could share so much more and faster if I didn't have to open each listing and scroll down to the share button! I also love the comment on being able to select a small, medium, or large for retail that has multiple sizes! That way buyers can manually create their own bundles wth retail items ☺️

wonnchris I would like to see shipping addressed. I shipped something yesterday. After the fees and the upgrade label, the cost to me was $22. I took a huge beating on this item. The original fee charged by Poshmark included a 5 lb package. My package weighed 8 lbs and it cost me $12.00 more for 3 additional pounds. I lost money.

treasure4sale @wonnchris In the past I worked with the buyer so they had to purchase two bundles (I weighed beforehand when we were agreeing to a price on all the items she wanted). We agreed to split the cost of the second label, but in your case offering buyer discount for the second label would have still saved you!

voguerecycled Also sharing has to be Streamlined...way too much time spent sharing to get a few sales. Option menu is needed for retailers so buyers can select the size. Shipping and fees are also hindering things.

ginaisabella I am wondering if you are going to do any more closet clean-out deals for lower shipping prices. There hasn't been one in a while and since the shipping price hike I've had a slowdown in sales because of the sticker shock, especially for small items like rings, etc. that are so light and don't require a whole $6 to ship them. euphoriallc I'm pretty disgruntled about this Botique section. It seems to be turning into a high school clique rather than an even playing field for all to sell. The same people pop up in my feed as suggested sellers, which was bad enough, but now if we can't get added to the Botique either we are just out of luck. Both should require specific criteria and when you meet it, you are added. And it should be clear on what is needed. And fair across the board.

If they don't respond within a resonable time frame chances are they will behave the same way if you make a purchase. Serious sellers are always prompt, professional & cordial.

kaskdell My question is, if I sell and have a good size balance going- but want to buy from other Poshers- how do I buy from them without using my funds? I'd rather use my CC- because I am saving my funds up to reach a certain amount. It just seems when I buy from others it automatically goes to my funds and says its paid for! I really want to buy using my CC and leave my funds untouched till a later date. I should be able to choose how I want to pay at the end of my purchase.

delbec @shoechic19 It's a process. Many of the boutique-rs buy their merchandise via the poshmark wholesale portal when it's open (you have to register for it) and that's how the get featured in the retail section + Your items have to be certified "retail" by poshmark to qualify for that section.

samslizzy @tracy I am nearing litigation with your company as the customer service is nill. I sold a LV handbag then buyer put in return, then she decided to keep it. One only needs to read buyers comments that she kept the bag yet you are holding my money. I've left a voice mail to no avail, my funds need release ASAP! Obviously comments are not monitored or this would have been resolved. Next step is litigation and will include compensatory damages.

cassie67 Hello, I have Made many attempts to contact Posh Support! I sold an item, shipped it, and tracked it to confirm delivery, but Poshmark & the buyer cancelled the order AFTER it was not only mailed but delivered to the buyer, and I have yet to be paid for the item they recieved!

bellagibson @sentennial hi! No one replied unfortunately. I just block buyers who I know aren't easy to work with or are problematic to deal with. That's all I can do. I really hope they will upgrade the system where we can rate buyers. Best of luck!

sewing_hermosa I'm new and admite "I don't get it". Like mentioned above I too can not find my sole listing when I do an external or internal search. I'm being invited to "parties" that I try to share my sole listing to. On my phone it says "did not work, please try again. On my laptop it doesn't say anything and nothing happens.
