loose weave, fully lined dress. Dorothy Bullitt brand. Sleeveless navy blue bodice w/ 2 plastic buttons on left shoulder. Skirt is lime green & about knee length. Zips up the back. Measures at 26" waist & 16" bust (laying flat, but has shape to it.). Length is 38" & hips are about 32". It has very little stretch. For reference, model is 5"6' & 120 lbs & normally wears a 3/4. This dress is too tight on her. FYI, the color on your screen may not exactly match the item.

veronikafashion @lizweckmann it is a very unique and beautiful dress for sure! And in great shape! The length is 38 inches and the hips are about 32 inches. My mom was a very thin woman (still is at 80 years ). It has very little stretch. The fabric looks a lot like tweed, but I think it is a cotton blend. I would have it dry cleaned. For reference, my daughter (the model) is 5 foot 6 and 120 lbs and normally wears a 3/4. This dress is too tight on her and she could barely move lol!

veronikafashion @lizweckmann I wanted to add that I measured the bust while it was laying flat. My daughter is a 32b and the upper part fit fine.

veronikafashion @lizweckmann too bad it won't fit! I am gong to be listing a lot more items, so maybe you will see something else you like that isn't so tiny. I have a similar dress listed that is a better fit on my daughter, but it isn't lined and isn't in as good shape. My mom is finally letting me clean out her closets. She never got rid of anything, so there is a lot more to come!

I love sharing my finds. I also have more items from my mom's to list. I enjoy everything about selling on here except all the storage space needed. Clothes take up a lot of space!

veronikafashion @ajbg you are so sweet! Yes, i donated a lot of stuff recently as well. They were thrilled at the thrift store lol. The thrift store sells everything for $1 an item. It is soooo tempting! But i am trying to limit myself to name brands and vintage items. Other items can take a really long time to sell. I have found that the fastest selling items are athletic shoes in good condition.

veronikafashion @ajbg i hate to see family photos still in their frames at the thrift store. But i guess we cant keep everything & sometimes have to unload things in a hurry. I have bought some nice NIKE sneakers for my husband and sons on here and saved a lot of money. So i can see why they sell. I'd like to figure out how to earn more money on here. It seems the only way to do that is to sell boutique items, which i don't care to do. I like the fact that selling used items is better for the environment.

ajbg @veronikafashion I know what you mean about the family photos so sad. I am a pack eat when it comes to photos and gifts from my son. I agree with reselling preloved items. Some things have so much character and history to them as well. You may already attend posh parties but these events have helped me greatly with sales. I use to try to attend one party a day to increase visibility to My closet.

veronikafashion @ajbg i am a pack rat in general. It is a bad habit, but i hate it when i realize i threw away something that i now regret! I am also artistic and enjoy crafts. My art is made from recycled materials, mostly magazines, so i have stacks of papers around for when i get inspired. My home is never tidy lol. I do put items in posh parties as often as i can. I also participate in some share groups, which helps with sales as well.

veronikafashion @ajbg hello! Things are always a bit crazy with my kids, but it is calmer after the holidays. Sales pick up a little now and then. But I am not going to be making a living at this anytime soon, Lol. I found tons of great stuff at the new thrift store, but it has become more popular and therefore more picked over. But i still enjoy going there. The workers have gotten to know me. How about yourself?

My sales are down but I just started really getting back to sharing and attending parties. I also delete a lot of items that have been listed for over a year. Going to donate or maybe look into thread up. But have not decided yet. Trying to spring clean early😁

veronikafashion @ajbg i just looked at thredup. It doesn't seem like you can make much money on that site, but if it is things you want to donate anyway, then it might be worth giving it a try. I like that they recycle what doesn't sell. I have also started donating things that haven't sold. They give me 10% off at the thrift store if i donate to them. How old are your kids? I have 4. 2 are in college and 2 in high school.

ajbg @veronikafashion oh you are right. I did the estimated pricing and not much back but I need to clean up and organized. I dont think my husband can live with it any longer! HA.. Wow I would love for my thrift store to give me addition discounts. I use to go at least twice a month to 3 or 4 but then life started to get overwhelming with everything. I have a son who is 13. But keeps me on my toes with everything he has going on! I have a lot of nieces and nephews.

veronikafashion @ajbg not only that, but the 2 youngest have disabilities. (ADHD and autism). It is much easier now than it used to be. The older two take care of themselves for the most part. They have cars and jobs and live at school. The younger ones are doing well and their disabilities are less challenging as they grow up. I stayed home with the kids. There was no way i could work and care for them at the sane time.

veronikafashion @ajbg and yes, i have to write everything down as well. I have had to take over my mom's healthcare and finances after my father passed away. So, yeah, it is alot. Poshmark is a fun way to bring in a little extra income while having complete control of my time. And it is fun. The only down side is all the storage space i need.
