jakeamom12 @anelakins is it sterling silver? If so,you can get cleaner for it. Stainless steel should not tarnish or scratch. If it's neither, try some dawn dish detergent. Dawn is also good for cleaning stainless to make it shine pretty again! That's why I love stainless steel jewelry! I'm allergic to most metals and its hypoallergenic! My wedding set has not a scratch on it and I never take them off other than to clean the the diamonds with dawn and they look brand new again!

anelakins i thought it was sterling. thats what my mom said when she gave it to me. i wore it everyday for a few years and the inside of the ring finally started to wear which is why i was unsure how to clean and the make or material. if the material itself is breaking down or tarnishing is there something to add to it or is it a lost cause? 😥

jakeamom12 @anelakins try using a Sterling silver jewelry cleaning cloth. You can get one at Walmart in their jewelry section. If that doesn't help, it may be Sterling plated and the plating is wearing off from using it everyday. Does it have the numbers 925 on the inside of the ring? That generally means it pure Sterling. If not let me know 😋
