I have several Arche shoes....I love this boot, I have one almost identical only it has a strap. Size 40 is a 10., sz 9 is 39. I wear an
81/2 so a 39 fits with a little room but a 40/10 is very big.

Are you sure this is a 40? It. Should be at the bottom of boot.
