Or at least it used to @pinkangel88 in the early days of the app, marking it as shipped used to actually change the status, but I've been noticing lately that the status doesn't actually change for the buyer until the PO scans it in. It just shows "awaiting usps scan" or something like that (but awhile ago, it used to actually say "SHIPPED"). I miss those days lol

pinkangel88@karisrenee haha yeah. I'm so what new to this app, but at least it saying awaiting scanning tells me its been dropped off. I had one seller tell me it automatically switched when postal service scannned it. But I dislike seeing the status say 'in process' till that happens.

moi9312Too funny. I ship right away. Yet usps do not scan all the time. So you may see "still in process" and it is actually sitting in the p.o waiting for someone there to care. Unfortunately it affects both seller/buyer. But i try giving a heads up when i have shipped. 😊 blessings everyone

karisreneeHmmmmm @greeneyeschas that sucks! Well 1st of all, I'm so sorry to hear that! What I'd recommend is that you #1 always look at the date/time at which the item you'd like has been updated. Somewhere ✨on the listing✨ up top, near where the seller's username and picture is, you'll see "last updated (X hrs ago) (X minutes ago) (X days ago) (x weeks ago) (month/date) etc".

karisreneeIf that time frame is not within a matter of the month, then you are likely looking at a closet that is outdated and has not been shared in a really long time.. (Some "bad sellers" are just users who downloaded this app, listed a few things, and then deleted it, or got a new phone without deactivating their closets). So, instead of just buying right away,

karisreneeI'd recommend getting in some real life comment interaction going before you buy. If it's an old listing, ask them "hi, I'm interested in this. Is this still available??" If they don't respond, then it likely is not. Also #2, check the listing for other comments as well. If there are several comments of other people asking if it's available with no response, then it's likely an inactive closet. Or it's just a bad seller that you're going to want to avoid.

karisreneeAlways look for the time that the item was updated, and check to see what other comments on that listing are saying. Sometimes these things alone can be dead giveaways for closets to avoid. If they don't respond to your question, have they won't respond to your shipment. At least this way, you would save time and financial flexibility, avoiding getting excited about the shipment and then having to cancel.

And you have the receipt of scan in your hands and no one can seem to find it past the counter you left it at and got the receipt for....thats the worst.....I get sick to my stomach when that goes down :(
