Hello. I have been a posh member for a little over 1 year, I LOVE IT. I adore feeling as though I am part of a community. I posh while I stay at home with my kiddos, (age 4 and 2). I posh to posh some more❤. Prior to having babies I owned a retail jewlery store affording me an affluent lifestyle. I have an affinty for the finer things and the amazing high end brands. It's a conundrum, being a Mom who doesn't also love thrifting!!!!

I would rather be safe than sorry and I only sell authentic items. This was in a collection from my grandmother had so I simply assumed it was authentic as it looked and felt as such. Hello @cfoxy84 boy, we are so similar I am also 32, 33 on the 28th. I too have had a bit of weight issues. Prior to kids I tipped the scales at over 200lbs. And with my first pregnancy I gained an additional 30 pounds. Luckily and mostly on purpose after she was born I changed my entire diet, my whole life got better and the weight melted off...now I take ballroom dance classes and it seems to help with the tone

@tammieoverholt - thank you for your feedback. I inherited the vintage jewelry from my Mom & grandmother. I have emotional attachment + making sure I price it correctly. I specifically am questioning the piece I just sold for $500. I have not been able to find another piece that is even close to it. I priced it at 500 thinking it was way overpriced so I would b okay. Now that it sold I'm emotionally questioning it. Then I was told I should have priced higher.

Already being sold I didn't want to upset you. 😀 I believe the Turquoise was really good quality maybe sleeping beauty making it rare since the mine is closed.

@tammieoverholt - yes. I am talking about that piece. I was in the process of changing price to 750 to give myself time to figure out what to do and I told buyer this . She purchased it before I had the chance to change it. I'm going to cancel the sale only because I had disclosed my plan so I feel justified. Always hard to find balance treating buyers well and not shorting myself.

@lblack13 No I don't offer official appraisals. My family and I owned Retail jewelry stores for over 35 years. We specialized in handmade, navajo pieces. I have spent my entire adult life getting familiar with turquouse and other semiprecious stones. I can usually look at a piece and tell you what it should be worth but that is based off my opinion and accumulative knowledge. An official appraisal would be best😉.
