shopherposhhey there! Honestly I've learned this is a basic rule now....I kid you not 90% of the questions like I get of these never respond and/ or do not buy. It's like black magic or some kind of Posh ghosts or trolls roaming around playing this sick joke on women. So, yeah basically I get measurements but i basically stay on the buyer like glue and make sure they buy. If I dont have time for the measurement I dont sweat it since 10% of them turn into sales

weemegletI applaud this! I'd like to stress a related point: I feel MEASUREMENTS, at least the basics like bust-waist-length/inseam, would be best included always. I'm more inclined to buy if I don't have take time to ask for important deets. I refer mostly to pre-owned garments, usually a bit stretched or shrunk, or bags. Saving their time turns browsers into buyers. Basically, I encourage any information that changes a casual "like" instead into an immediate offer or sale. My two cents!

weemeglet@herparallax @najjjelly Ooh, is it a way for asking for the seller to lower the price for that brief shipping discount? If so, it seems it would be nicer & more informative of your intent to say a little more than just the blunt "Would you take $X?" Then would the seller lower to the agreed price at a specific time, so the buyer snaps it up before anyone else can (seems risky) & thus enjoys a shipping discount while the seller still makes the same as had she'd accepted a traditional offer?

If you notice some of my things have extreme detail in the measurements- there was one posher who would ask one question, then the next week I'm at work and she asks another measurement specific, so I update again....this happens like 4 times on 2 different items. And then POOF! Gone. 😡 now I try to at least put the basics but it takes time...

herparallax@saucedojeneen3 well I can't put down measurements I have 500 available listings and each listing have three different sizes. I always put down if it's true to size or not. But sometimes clothing fit different on different people. So I prefer people to ask me about fit. I mean a size small will fit a 32a bust and a 36d bust completely different but spamming me "measurements? Fabric?" on twenty of my items and not giving me a single reply is like... 😩

bellamoda13@herparallax I agree it's annoying but if Poshmark changed their setup that you must add measurements for garments, then people would stop asking, right? Plus they could search and filter to their specific measurements. Also a filter for yes or no trades. This way people aren't a&$h0les with questions and filter to what they want. And another filter for firm price so that the offer button goes away. I hope @Poshmark reads this

Like how difficult is it to stop & think about what you do/say before hand, think about other people's feelings & for the love of God please leave the rude comments, behavior & all the other garbage behavior in the garbage! I was called "rude", etc...for not accepting her lowball offer of 65% off my fair asking price. Manners and courtesy escape some people! 🙄 Cute closet, btw!

shopjennajadePoshmark should have a series of hypothetical questions they ask each user before allowing them to join. If they pass then welcome you have passed having common sense and basic manners. And if they fail then nope sorry you can't sit with us! That way all idiots will be banned from driving us insane daily and we can live happy, Poshmark lives! ;D This post is perfect for poshers to vent, seriously love this! herparallax@agar70 that info is provided to people that are not asking for fun. When you have someone just tag 10 of your listings with fabric? Measurements? No please and just disappear after you give it to them. Or when you have answered the same question three times in one single listing.. These aren't people that will buy from you. And that is 5 mins I could spend doing something else. So I'm saying at least have the courtesy to respond and to stop asking "for fun"

I also have to tell you that it works both ways. I bet 80% of my questions are never answered by the seller. Thank you for listening. ☺

gossipgirl212Amen. Had someone curse on one of my postings because another posher falsely claimed that another retailer online had the same item on sale. That got other poshers angry. Had they verified the claim by going to the website, they would have seen that it was false. Deleted the listing and gifted it, thankfully I had just bought it so it was very new. Also had another ask whether a photo was real (on my most expensive listing nonetheless). I discovered blocking👍
