Growing up with pets, including my beloved calico cat (rest in peace, sweet girl), one thing I am passionate about is the safety and well-being of rescue animals that aren't lucky enough to find a home. Over 50% of pets are euthanized in shelters each year, but through Poshmark, I want to change that. 10% of every $20+ sale will go towards food for dogs and cats, which I will donate to my local animal shelter. For select listings, 20% will be donated. We can make a change together!

proverbs_31 Aw I love this! I have a huge heart for animals too. When I was a kid, my mom always mentioned how I had more sympathy for animals than people. My husband and I adopted two cats a year ago. They're brothers - so cute! And I've volunteered walking dogs at a local animal shelter. That particular shelter is no-kill, and they get dogs from all over the country, Jamaica, many with severe problems. They do a great job getting them all adopted! 💜 It's great that you're supporting this cause!

proverbs_31 Aw me too! We even take them with us when we go away for the weekend... People must think I'm crazy, but that's OK - they're my babies!! I'm so glad we adopted them. I hope your post will also spread awareness about adopting animals from shelters. 😸🐶

poshmom_luxe Awesome that you're doing this! My husband and I rescued 6 stray cats so far. We have 3 shelters outside of our home for the others, and we put food & water out everyday. I love to hear stories of the amazing people who help the homeless animals. There's an old saying "keep rescuing animals. You may lose your mind, but you will surely find your soul." salome07 You are an example sweetie! 😺 I'm a huge animal lover specially cats 😸I have 3 cats that we rescued (2 from the street when they were only a few weeks and my last baby from a kill shelter this past Christmas when he was about to put him down when he was only 2 months) and they are the love of my life!
