luvsmink @ptl8 ..., in my honest opinion, you could go with either size. This dress has wonderful stretch without looking thinned out in the material. I don't wear a slip with mine, but obviously if it makes you more comfortable, then do. The dress isn't sheer at all.

luvsmink The dress is designed to hit right at the ankle, but I'm only 5'2" so it's long for me. I get compliments galore when I wear this bc the colors are so unique. As I said, return for something different as long as you haven't worn it.
