I just got home but howz the little one? Is Augie eating? And what? My grandmother's little guy ate the page dog food after they pulled his teeth. what an ordeal for the little guy.

@katzkoz the little guy is doing much better. I'm not in a hurry to see the dress on you, I just want to eventually. I went to a show last night and then slept until now (almost 6) the next day. Lol. I'm still surprised at how much it takes out of me when I do the littlest thing. I'm not used to these limitations. Well, I gotta go feed the animals. Bye!

@sparrowsage Hey, I know what U mean. I was out all day today, walked every where I went in this heat. I felt SOOOO tired when I got home but still had to feed the kitties, put things away and make dinner. I got to.....feed the kitties. I'm wiped out! I'm amazed that all the things that "used" to not bother my body...bother me and affect me differently now! Sux!

@drwatson349 Its very heartbreaking & Im so sorry. Ur right about the house feels empty too. Im sure Ur other kitties R mourning in their own way too. I have 1 Hemingway (6 toes) thats 13 & ready to go to the Big Kitty Litter box in the sky. I have 6 that will mourn for sure in some way.

My Brendel Bear is also a Hemingway 🐱
The other cats didn't care for Sheba, she was a snooty Daddys girl, she only liked my fiance
Notice my shock that now Bella won't quit looking for her sister and Brendel has become my shadow
He also won't stop eating (sign of depression)
I'm at a loss as to what to do for my little guy, he sits on my lap for hours at a time and I just keep hugging him and assuring him that he's a good boy and I've never seen a more handsome cat 🐱

The BEST solution to get them out of that funk & that's to get another kitten! It will occupy the others time , direction & wear them out!
Ive had to do it several times.
One of mine just quit eating.
I got a kitten
Now...all the attention by the others was directed at "teaching" the kitten what to do.
