My son has Williams Syndrome. He is missing 28 genes on the 7th chromosome. This causes many medical, mental, & physical problems for him. Only 1 in 10,000 people have this rare deletion. Most people are not diagnosed till much later in life due to the lack of knowledge of it. I'm hoping to bring awareness so that diagnosis is much earlier so the necessary interventions can take place before it's too late. Thx for viewing & reading! susansboutiqueThis is very informative. I've never heard of it. Each of my sons were born with special health concerns. Oldest has had 5 pacemakers since birth and is 33 now. Other don is 30 and has ADD, LDs and recently needed a brain tumor removed. Your son is beautiful and God has special plans for him and YOU! wsadreamcatcher@bayoubutrfly Thank you!! 😍 Yes, it has been very challenging at times. He's 8 now & still has a lot of medical issues but it has gotten a lot easier to deal with. He has a very low immune system, so along with him being in school & with the weather changing & getting cooler, he has been sick several times already. When he was younger, he spent several weeks at a time in the hospital every time he got sick. He makes me smile & I thank God for choosing me to be his mom. 😍

barneysbargainsHi there! I used to work with a guy who's daughter has Williams Syndrome and until you hear the day to day life happenings, you truly have no clue of what it is. barneysbargains@wsadreamcatcher Have you tried ZiCam for colds? They make a generic brand @Walmart. I swear by it! I have a low immune system as well & when I feel the first symptoms, I take this every 4 hours & it usually never turns into anything. If I've started it too late, I still take it with whatever the dr prescribed & it does help reduce the severity & duration of the illness. Pls check w/your dr first. It comes in several forms; I use the dissolving tablet & have been for years.
