Since my list of bad Poshers was removed & is considered against the rules, here are tips: ⭐1. Ask a seller if item is available & when can they ship ⭐2. Never feel obligated to accept a low ball offer. If the offer is insulting, just block the person or ignore them. You can also counteroffer if you choose⭐3. Think of Poshmark as a thrift shop. Expect to wash your items whether new or not. Home aromas vary & some may be unpleasant. Give your seller the benefit of the doubt as most mean well. 🎀

michellel614@queendivacloset that list would have helped me probably. I had someone call me the B word earlier. She had liked one of my listing and I sent her a message , buy it NOW. Her rely was nasty. I asked her basically y the name calling, She said I yelled at her and demanded. I said buy it now like the buy now button next to the make offer button. Apparently all capital letters mean yelling. Yeah I did not at all know that. But I learned from that experience.

I kinda feel like they took away my freedom of speech by deleting my post & threatening to revoke my account privileges.

If your budget is so tight then your priorities are out of wack. Shopping should be the last thing on your priority list. Also there is a price filter to help you stick to your budget rather than low ball for 50% off or more than the listed price ⭐⭐⭐

So I haven't fully read the terms of service regarding outside websites. It's an awesome site. Lol.. I think some people like getting you to lower your price for nothing as they have no intentions on buying.

jjbrSo true! Love this. I'm new, so not a lot of experience with sales on Posh. Tips like this are greatly appreciated! One thing I've done is read or at least skim all the comments for things I've liked/ shared. Sometimes go to the "about" or other listing to see reviews and get a good picture. Takes a little more effort, but I've gotten a feel for good sellers and hopefully avoided drama by blocking a few ridiculous users-judging from their online behavior and other's experiences with them.

queendivacloset@skullee Sorry you had to experience that. While I understand they want to keep things positive, I don't think ignoring the bad Poshers are productive either. I recently ordered something from someone who was rude from the jump and then after tolerating their attitude & waiting over a week for them to ship, they cancelled my order and gave me more attitude afterwards. It's a shame 👎

skullee@queendivacloset really!!!...that is so wrong ..one thing i have been learning is if i am buying i make sure this posher has lots & lots of comments from a long line of poshers & read read read for any scammers & bad comments on the posher I'm buying from....only problem now for me with this trash talking posher, i have a bad comment i can't delete in my listing for others to read from jump street before i can build a good rep....huh!!!

queendivacloset@taffetadarling Some new Poshers may not take the time to read the posh rules and may unknowingly post things they are not supposed to. I personally don't pay it much attention and follow and share as many closets as possible. I don't share items that are against the rules, but i try to find items in their closets that are allowed to share. Also if you go to your profile and follow your followers, you can follow people back more faster.

vparkercmaI had an experience i would like to share. I was created a bundle and had been talking back and forth with the seller. Right in middle of this happening my daughter gets admitted to the hospital. I guess because i didnt get back to her immediately she says, " Well im going to bed." I had missed the window for reduced shipping which i didnt know was only good for one hour.

The next day i go into her closet to finish the deal and she had screen shot our conversation and on the cover shot said THIS LADIES, IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF BAD POSH ETIQUETTE and she blocked me so i couldnt even defend myself. I had a family emergency and no matter what my family ALWAYS comes first.

My goal is to make this my business. And now she has smeared my name all over Poshmark. I think what she did is bad Posh etiquette. I am hurt, angry and disappointed about this situation.

queendivacloset@taffetadarling Awe thank you💞 With offers that I feel is too low, I usually counter and politely leave a comment such as (Thank you for your offer, I prefer to keep things close to my asking price) or if the price is firm I let them know. Sometimes I'd rather keep an item than sell below my preferred price. I decline insulting offers tho because if they are rude enough to offer over 50%++ off then declining is not a problem to me .

It would also be nice if the sellers could rate the buyers as well. I'm still new to Posh maybe this feature exists buy I have yet to find it.

At the first sign of rudeness or conflict of any sort, I've learned to block people to prevent them from getting to me. Neither you or Tammara should have to explain yourselves to anyone. Whatever issue that person had is their problem. Blocking is our best defense against drama. 👍🏾

It was nothing like the picture. It was roughly and hurriedl sown. no tags like mentioned. It had made me very sceptical about buying. gogetit4462Good info. I look at low balls as an opportunity to explain what I am selling and why. I think many people struggle to envision the value of an item. If not, I appreciate the opportunity to share more info and move on. I've seen items and can't imagine why they are listed. Wish we could chat about how to wear a certain item or where the prices come from. I'd probably bid more for sure.

Sometimes I think of how long I've had it for sale and accept less than I want. Other times it's worth waiting to sell at the preferred price.

gogetit4462That's a good point also. Maybe there is value in coming up with a rubric that explains brand/timeline of ownership/ care of the item/ price, to best represent value. Though sometimes how things are styled in an ad gives me a new outlook on an addition to an outfit. Good stuff.

queendivacloset@fitzwater79 Good morning. If it's pending acceptance that just means she hasn't accepted it yet and poshmark will automatically release your funds on the 4th day. If she filed a case or had a problem, you would see that too on your end and posh would email you about it too.

queendivacloset@fitzwater79 As long as you correct it you are fine. Also lotions, body washes, nail polishes, replicas aren't allowed. Because liquids can't be shipped through USPS. It's an innocent mistake. I too made quite a few mistakes when I first joined posh.

If posh added ups shipping then perfumes and other prohibited liquids would be OK to buy, but they are exclusively with USPS and they have a partnership that keeps our costs down because shipping used to be $6.99 or $7.99, I forget.

Most honest people just resell it but the desperate ones will lie to get their money .

I experienced the same when I bought my favorite perfume and it smelled way different but I knew it wasn't the sellers fault because environmental factors such as sunlight or the way it's stored can change the scent. Mines was a 16 year old perfume. I get where buyer is coming from but that doesn't mean it's your fault.

queendivacloset@fitzwater79 Maybe the manufacturer changed the formula. Either way it's not your fault she doesn't like it. You didn't misrepresent your item as she claims. If you're using an apple device it should show. Try using a browser instead of the app or a computer/ laptop and see if the option to upload to your case is there. If not just add a note to the case that she commented that she didn't like it in the comments section of the listing.

The alcohol in fragrances keep them fresh. Not sure what makes her an expert but she thinks she is. You can't please them all.

I did get one delivery that smelled but a quick wash fixed that. If your experience is bad then writing a review expressing that is appropriate however there are times when when a seller has made every effort to make your experience positive but may have overlooked a small detail that doesn't deserve a harsh review. I received a dress that smelled like armpits but I expect to wash any second hand item and she was super sweet to me so I felt she deserved 5 stars.

I don't know what I could have possibly done to please her. I took accurate photos, shipped her dress fast with a thank you note, gift wrapped it, and still got a low rating. In that case I felt it was unfair.
