taunyaarmstrong 🌷@msalaska 🌷Hello My friend! This will be broken up into several sections, it's a long update, so I'll sign off when it's finished! Haha!! I wanted to explain & apologize for my being out of touch & not "sharing" for over a month! I've literally been bed bound & 85% if the time unable to sit up or see clearly for long periods of time. I've been battling what all the Dr's I've gone to, desperate for ho, have shrugged off as just "very severe vertigo & take Dramamine."

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska I call them "bouts" & over the last five years, they have progressively become worse, and closet in duration. It hit me one evening out of the blue. My pupils dilated so large that I had to get two inches from the mirror to see them, and hold onto the walls like a rolling ship. Could not see a thing, nor the floor because my depth perception was gone.

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska Went on for days, no sight, balance, finally thought of Dramamine & it stopped it. Thought it was over, after still off & on for two weeks. Went for a few months, then, came back. Blah blah blah. Basically, would come on me any moment, driving, turning around too fast, just normal house work.

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska I have sought numerous Dr's over the years & there are many other symptoms which go along which I'm not including, but it's basically now taken over my life. In the last year, I cannot function normally. Have been stuck at the bottom of my stairs outside for hours because the depth perception makes it impossible to see to climb up, & my terror of heights is magnified 100%z

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska I've known it's my inner ear, but because it's not visible to the Dr's , and all of the group of symptoms are so bizarre & extensive, disconnected it was just too much trouble I guess, they didn't want to think that far. I've prayed, ohhhh, have I prayed.

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska So after this last bout, living in liquor store "food" that the employers would bring over, I won't admit how infrequent having a friend come over to be here so I could shower in case I fell again, blah blah blah, I hit rock bottom. I'd researched for an EN&T Dr near by so a cab would not be a fortune & found one who was supposed to be excellent.

taunyaarmstrong @msalaska They got me in as an emergency on Thursday. He sat there just as puzzled as every other Dr, but at least he LISTENED! He thinks it's more neurological, a mass growing inside my head & pressing on my inner ear. So now I am waiting for approval from the insurance company for an MRI. If there is something growing, it had been for five years, which would explain why the bouts are now almost triggered by the slightest movement which I do too quickly.
