kp939I’m so sorry this happened to you. Just want to post here that @good_business is selling stolen items. The photo is lifted from somewhere else and the seller ships items from a non-profit that provides addresses for homeless people. Poshmark requires contact from law enforcement in order to take any action, but it’s impossible for a resident of a big city to compel a police department to send an email to Poshmark. I’m so disappointed in this site.

inik@mdparker33 I had a problem with her and so did sam_i_am , she sent me vs sweats with a hole in the crotch and it had pilings all over, the letters were cracked and it and smelled like a stinky unbathed dog had slept on them. I opened a case and posh saw in my favor very quickly. They gave me a return shipping label and before the sweats ever made it back to her she had resold them again under the similar listing of "like new,no rips or stains " she also listed as only wearing them a couple times.lol...and the listing picture was creatively placed in a dark setting so you couldn't see the problems anyways she sent them immediately to the other gal and she contacted posh and they sided with her and told her not to return the sweats because they new she would resell them again. These were so bad, I wouldn't even donate something like that to a church, I would have thrown them in the garbage before trying to lie and get someone to buy them...my issue wasn't nearly as bad as you have experienced but I'm so sorry for what you have had to go through. But I wanted to share to the dishonesty of this particular person. It's a real shame. I hope no one else gets scammed.

She had a great story going about how I did not receive the money because the other payment option had not verified her card. She promised she was sending the money on several occasions. But she needed the bag for her birthday. Them she stopped replying to my messages. Then she just went crazy on me. Blocked my Poshmark page and then blocked my number from calling or texting her. First my phone was turned off because I needed that money to pay my phone bill. Now my car note is behind because I took my car note money to pay my phone bill. Now she is not answering anyone that is commenting on her closet. I saw where some ladies have paid her and they have not received their items. We have a son that is New York, New York. I thought about going for a little visit. But she used her PO Box for her address. It was as if she had planned it all out. I wouldn't be surprised if she had purposely filled her voicemail so no one could leave a message.

Maybe you could get the name of her store that way? That is alot of money you were out. I'm sure you can press chsges..

beautyonabudgetHi. I'm starting my own business. I do conflict resolution and I'm very good at what I do. I saw your post and thought I would offer to help for free. I just ask that if you are pleased with my help that when my website is up, you write a review/testimonial. I'll be upfront. Based on what I read in these comments, what I see in the comments under alleged expensive items on Dana's page and also the comments under the sold items she has allegedly shipped I have some ideas. It is likely you will never get your money back. 1. It appears that you may have operated my sending her the bag without payment first outside of Poshmark rules. I will confirm though. If not, then you have some recourse with them. If yes, then you would be dependent on the legal system to get some restitution from Dana. However, based on the comments of women who know her, it is unlikely that the police would recover anything. In the alternative if they did, the more prominent victims i.e. the stores would recover any monies/merchandise first. However, if the police can locate the item if it has not been resold to someone else already, you would be able to get your item back. The police would ask for information first such as identifying markers on the bag. 2. File a complaint with the BBB. Poshmark has a duty to ensure it's buyers are not scammed as well there are no scam sellers. This girl has been complained on enough to have warranted at least an eyebrow raised (I say more than that). There is a due diligence owed on their part. Poshmark, as any other business, has the ability to trace IP addresses and forever ban this girl from the site and also report the information to the proper authorities. 3. File a claim with the following agencies: FTC, the FBI's internet crime division, and the DOJ's internet fraud. 4. You have the young lady's criminal record I assume based on your screenshot above. If not, the young lady a few comments above my comment appears to know the girl. Reach out to her to get more info and you can access most criminal records for free in any state since it is a public record. Then file a statement with the local authorities in her city. If the police aren't helping you... 5. Go to the Secretary of State's site in NY and write a letter. -----Again, keep in mind that based on your unique case, you will likely never recover the monies...at best the item back is the most you could hope for...BUT nothing beats a failure but a try. I've had experience with the FBI's ICC division doing a bust in NYC on a guy scamming a former a coworker over some bar stools for her new home. Thank God for Google maps, quick and creative thinking, and the FBI. She got her money back though in a little over a week, but we were on it for like 4 days straight before. The guy was even using someone else's name and when I contacted Mr. Finkelstein he said he always got calls from consumers and told them all they were being scammed. The guy was also illegally in the country. I'm sure at some point beyond us ICE got involved. I hope this helps you and I'm sorry this happened to you.

jamerine29Hi - I am sharing this b/c I randomly got an offer on one of my items from 'gjs42' this morning - I decided to look at her page before accepting her offer b/c I had an incident happen to me this week on here where I thought I was about to be scammed - I decided that going forward, before I sell to anyone to open up all of their listings and look to see if there are any red flags - Well interestingly enough, I clicked on the first listing on her page and saw that people were commenting that she is a scammer - I do not plan on accepting her offer now - I'm very sorry to hear what she did to you and part of me wants to accept her offer and then send her an empty box just to give her a taste of her own medicine and to get her back for everything she has done to you ladies on here, but I know that I would then be damaging my own character on here, so that is not a good idea - I wonder how else I could be of assistance to you and others?....

iheartvspinkOk if I had read thru all the comments I would have known that. Sorry. I thought her arrest stemmed from all of this, not a separate event at a department store. I just read all comments though now and I just want to say if I was that girl who lived in the same town as her- I'd be getting your bag back for you! If I ever hear of a scammer that happens to be in my home town they will be sorry. Praying you get justice. 🙏

theposhqueens2Has anyone encountered their items not getting scanned at the post office .its been a pattern with my sales.3 times so far.reported it to the post office.i even have receipts and the post office is doing nothing. So I lose the clothing and the money I would have made from a sale. The clothes get scanned in,but the items are showing not scanned..so I lose out on my sales. Any feed back would be great.
