I have been asked numerous times about sharing so I thought I would make a post for all new poshers. ABOUT POSH PARTIES. please only share your themed items to posh parties, unless otherwise requested. This is because most of us ladies like to share our own listings to parties and they only show up one time in parties, you may share to your followers during these times.

You can only share it once to a party for that night and 2. Some poshers like to share their own listings to the party! Posher need to be aware to SHARE ONLY TO THEIR FOLLOWERS!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️. bluidvll@katz2 ok great and I have read the faqs quite a few times and what it says on there is no replicas or fakes, electronics, books, dvds, homegoods, used makeup, used swimsuits, used under garments, and lastly any health and wellness products. So I sent an email to support to ask where to find the exact wording because it needs to be out there, again I do not want or desire to sell men's items or children's but they are everywhere. As a newbie I am welcoming every new follower that wants to follow but I see where the top sellers are weeding out those sellers who do not follow poshmark rules and right now if I do that I would lose an absolute ton of followers. My goal is to one day be a suggested user and a top seller and I don't want to start out doing things wrong. Sorry for the long story here just want to be successful and not make anyone angry with me at the same time.😀😀😀

bluidvll@crazyw5 believe me it feels like I do more sharing than I do anything else on here, my husband thinks I am nuts because I am sharing early in the morning in the afternoon and late at night sometimes up til midnight, he says with his cynical mouth "Yes and see what it is getting you, nothing" i just tell him that is why he will not know if or when I do make money on here. I am bound and determined.😀😀😀

katz2@bluidvll Janet, when you go to the FAQS, under What can I sell... The very first sentence states "Poshmark is a marketplace for women's fashion and accessories. Please refrain from listing items that do not fall into this category." Plain and simple women's fashion. No other, whether it's men's, children's or housewares. They are not women's fashion items which is why they are not allowed. Now, do people sell them? Of course, it doesn't mean it's right, but they don't care. Some closets get suspended by Posh for ignoring the rules. Can men sell on Posh, of course, if they sell women's fashions and accessories. We do have men who sell and they have very nice items. I have two listings in my closet from Posh regarding the sale of items. Also, when you co-host a Posh party, we get specific instructions as to our selection of Host Picks which must come from rule-abiding closets. You should get a response from Support with 24 hours.

katz2@bluidvll I just saw your comment about sharing and sales. Think of your closet as your brand and you need to get your name out there. The whole concept of sharing is that when you share to your followers, they will share your items to their followers and a much broader audience sees your listings. When you share your followers and only your followers see your items. However, everyone on Posh sees what is shared to the party. The sales will come when you increase your followers and more people are aware of your closet. Don't get discouraged, it just takes time to build your customer base. I will tag you in a following game which will help.💕

katz2@carolineedoyle This should explain it. Consider your closet your "brand" like Coach or Free People. You need to get it out there. Sharing does that for you.

crazyw5@staar20 No there is no standard discount on bundles, whatever you feel is fair but us ladies do like our deals lol. The more someone bundles the bigger discount I give. Usually posh throws in a discounted shipping which can be $3.99 $2.99 lower for big discounts but not always, it's randomly picked. Hope this helps 💕😃💕

thevintageroze@kcford24 Karen that is EXACTLY how it should be done!!! People share their closet to the parties and everyone else shod share the closet to their followers! For example I share my closet to parties in stages! I share some of it in the beginning, then in the middle and the rest of it at the end! If someone else shared it then my shares will only go to my followers.

lynda721@kcford24 I have a few more questions about parties and sharing (your own listings). How do listings get put into the "First Look" group vs. the "Main" and "NWT" groups? Also, my computer crashed, so I am doing everything on my iPhone. I have been sharing one item at a time. bellanblue@lhaag721 no not at all. ok let me explain it further. if you create a new listing today and click share into party for tonight's party, it will show up in the 1st looks area. but only for tonite's party. after that, it's not a 1st look listing anymore. does that make sense?

janimack7Thank you soooo much! This is a fantastic post! I knew about sharing, and have done a lot, but thought I was doing a good thing sharing items from others' closets to parties! It was also helpful to hear what we can list and not list is not as "flexible" as I thought having seen numerous items not listed. Thinking it ok, I followed suit and listed a few items that are questionable.... Frozen necklaces and rings,,,,definitely children's items!

You can share as many things as you like, but only ONCE!! so don't share all of your items all at once, unless you want to ! I prefer to share the beginning, the middle and the end. crazyw5@chanazell when you share to a party everyone see it. When you share your items at any other time you are sharing to your followers only. Items only show up one time at a party no matter how many times you share them. Hope this helps
