Feb 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@fashionqueen23 Good morning Lisa! Sorry about the late reply, but I went to sleep early last night. About your question, the price you set on an item depends on whether is new, or used, and the condition of it. I took a peek at your closet, and I guess the article you're referring to is the rack?

Feb 13Reply

fashionqueen23Yes. I'm referring to the rack. And its not really used much

Feb 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@fashionqueen23 Well Lisa, Poshmark is really not the site to sell that kind of article. Poshmark is an app for women's clothes, shoes, and accessories. If you do sell it, you'll end up losing money because the shipping label that Poshmark sends covers packages up to 2 lb. When mailing a heavier package, the seller pays for the extra shipping cost, and I'm pretty sure that rack is kinda heavy.

alleskizzleI have a few questions concerning posh parties. How are host picks chosen and when? Also, how do you become a suggested user or a co-host for the parties? Thanks! 💖

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@alleskizzle Hi Lexi! The hosts of the parties search hundreds of rule-following closets to choose listings that fit the party theme (Back to Basics, Girly and Flirty, etc.) and that have amazing cover shots. To be a host, you have to follow PM guidelines, have an outstanding feedback as a seller, and have a few host picks on your closet. You can email Posh support, and after they review your closet, they send you an invite to co-host a party. Suggested User takes a little longer, but for what I understand, aside from the previous requisites, you have to be involved with the community, help new Poshers, and pretty much be a role model on Poshmark 😉🌹

Feb 18Reply

alleskizzleThanks for the help! 💕 it's greatly appreciated!

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@alleskizzle You're very welcome🌹

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@cr8vheart Lauren, like this listing in case you have questions, so you know where to find me🌹

Feb 21Reply

ginasjewels4youHi girly!!! Is there any easier way to remove my the people I'm following instead of doing it one by one? I would like to slim down my list to certain people!! (Like you) lol

Feb 23Reply

isa_wine_lover@ginap7777 I really don't think so doll! Just as there is no way to share one's or other's closet at once; we have to do it one by one! But just in case, I'll ask around, and will let you know😘

Feb 23Reply

ginasjewels4youOk thank you!!! 😘😘☺️

abstractdreamsHow long have you been on PM?

Mar 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@linmp1031 Hi there! I joined last summer, but only got serious about it on October.

Mar 02Reply

abstractdreamsSummer 2012 or 2013?

Mar 03Reply

sharomarieHi I just joined a few days ago. Im learning little by little. Im just now starting to post items in my closet. Any advice?

Mar 03Reply

isa_wine_lover@sharomarie Hi Sharonda! Welcome to Poshmark darling! I already shared your 2 listings to my followers ;-) Let me give you my 5 cents of advice: share other people's closets, and they will mostly return the favor by sharing your closet. So share, share, share! Also, participate to the parties; tonight's party is Spring Preview, so if you have items that fit the party theme, share them to the party, so people besides your followers will see them. And last, but no least, follow Poshmark rules: no Paypal, no trades, and no unsupported items (electronics, home goods, men and kids clothing, perfumes, etc.) Once you list more items, tag me, so I can share them to help you gain more followers. This is a community of women helping women, so any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck and Happy Poshing!

Mar 03Reply

sharomarieThankyou so much for taking the time to welcome me and give advice. I will definitely follow your lead. :)

Mar 03Reply

mytherapy@isa_wine_lover Thank you so much for all the shares! I'm feeling Posh-loved! :)

Mar 04Reply

isa_wine_lover@mytherapy You are most welcome Mina! I shared you some more😘 And thank you for your shares too💐

Mar 04Reply

isa_wine_lover@cpohndorf You're very welcome Carrie! I tagged you here because the next tip could help other girls about how to style pictures. Most apps are really not that complicated. Actually, some are very user friendly. Try Framatic for instance. You can pick the layout first and then take the picture. It makes things way easier in my opinion because you don't have to crop the picture, and then try to fit it in the frame. You have a real visual of how the pic is going to look inside the frame. Let me know how it goes, and remember, natural light is always better!

Mar 05Reply

isa_wine_lover@clongo Hi love! Well, it all depends on you... I leave a little room for negotiation, but I know what's the lowest I'd go on my items. People love to bargain, so for me, personally, it's better to find a closet where I can get a discount even if it's little. Some girls create a special listing for negotiation. If the issue is giving out your best price and then the next in line will want the same discount, create the listing. so, when someone wants to bargain, take the negotiation to the listing. I hope this helps. Btw, I shipped your top yesterday ;-)

Mar 05Reply

fourjdoggThanks for all the wonderful advice. If someone wants to bundle items, how do you do that with the shipping labels? For example selling 4 items to one person but each item is a separate post.

Mar 07Reply

isa_wine_lover@fourjdogg Good morning Jeri! Sorry for the late reply, but I'm East Coast, and I have to get my daughters to school in the mornings :-) About your question, first, you should weight the items together, so you know exactly how much extra shipping you have to pay because the label Poshmark sends is good for packages up to 2 lb. Then you can update one of the listings, adding the pictures of the items that go in the bundle with the price you both agreed on, so the person can buy. If the bundle weights more than 2 lb, you go to sales, click on the item, then click on "Need new shipping label", and finally "Need heavier weight label." Once you've done this, you print the new label, and mail your package. I hope this explanation is clear enough, lol... If not, let me know, and I'll walk you through it. Happy Poshing!

Mar 07Reply

fourjdoggThank you so much for answering my question so quickly...that really helps!

Mar 07Reply

isa_wine_lover@fourjdogg You're very welcome🌹

Mar 07Reply

fourjdoggAnother question for you, Isabel......how do you reply to a comment so it shows up in that person's news with the symbol @ then the person name? I can't figure it out!! Thanks!

Mar 08Reply

isa_wine_lover@anne1960 My pleasure. Sharing is caring🌹

Mar 08Reply

isa_wine_lover@fourjdogg Hi Jeri! You've got it darling; you put the "@" symbol before the name. i.e @isa_wine_lover Have a fantastic weekend🌹

Mar 08Reply

isa_wine_lover@mom2mrbaby Hello Tracey! Thank you for stopping by my closet and complimenting me about it. I really appreciate it. About your closet, it's looking really nice; the only thing I would change is the lightning. Some items look really dark, so it's hard to appreciate the detail on them. Natural light is always the best. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer, so I can take some of my pictures outside. Also, remember to check the background when taking a picture; if the item you're displaying is dark, try a light background and vice versa, so the item doesn't get lost on the picture. And finally, people like to see how the items look on, so you can either find some pics online, or you can take pics of you wearing them. When my husband is not around to take the pics, I use TimerCam, a free app to take selfies. I hope this helps, and let me know if I can assist you with anything else. Happy Poshing!!!

isa_wine_lover@mom2mrbaby You're most welcome🌹

nystarlight1Hey Isabel! <3 I tried to click on that game thing you sent me and I don't think the link is working- is it still up on your end??

Mar 19Reply

isa_wine_lover@nystarlight1 hey lovely! Suhan decided to end it early due to people mass tagging. How have you been engaged lady?

Mar 19Reply

nystarlight1Ooohhhh okay :) I was all excited when I saw it and then it disappeared Lol! I'm loving it :) We went to our first venue last week and I don't think we even wanna see anywhere else. It was PERFECT. Gotta start looking at dresses too :-P How are you??

Mar 19Reply

isa_wine_loverHow exciting!!!! Enjoy every second of it. I've been happily married for 10 years, and the preparation of the wedding was so much fun. I'm doing well, just tired of the darn snow. I don't mind the cold weather, but when I'm stuck at home because of snowy days, I get moody, lol... I'm so ready for summer dresses and sandals!

Mar 19Reply

isa_wine_lover@nystarlight1 Still forget to tag👆👆

Mar 19Reply

nystarlight1I totally hear you!!!! I'm in NY- we had one weekend of 60s- and then went to 19 the next day!!!! It's funny- almost everyone I know that just got married/is almost married is super stressed with the planning. So far I'm having fun with it- but I also tend to not take life too seriously. :)

Mar 19Reply

isa_wine_lover@nystarlight1 That's why we get along so well, ha! I travel to NY quite often! Maybe we could meet next time I visit. When it gets warmer, of course!

Mar 19Reply

Mar 23Reply

isa_wine_lover@alex_xo Good morning lovely! When you click the button "buy" the "reserve" note shows on the item. While you're doing the transaction, and the item is "reserved" no one else can buy it. Once you're done, it changes from "reserved" to "sold" 😘

Mar 23Reply

splendeurI guess you no longer give credit where it's due.. I'm glad that you've mastered your selfies and took it upon yourself as if was your idea.. You really hurt my feelings on this one Isa.. @mom2mrbaby

Mar 23Reply

isa_wine_lover@splendeur Suhan, I am so sorry! I never meant to take credit for anything... You know me better than that. Accept my apologies please! You know how grateful I am with you for everything you've done, and I have expressed it to you countless times private and publicly. I am truly sorry darling. And Tracy, that app was pointed to me by Suhan... She's a person I've always looked up to. If you're not following her yet, please do. Not only her closet is a fashion paradise, but she is an amazing posher and friend! @mom2mrbaby

Mar 25Reply

alex_xoHow long does it take to process a direct deposit when you get paid?

Mar 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@alex_xo Hey girl! Sorry for the late reply, but I wasn't feeling well last night, and went to bed early. About your question, once you transfer the money to your bank account, it takes three business days for the funds to be available. Have a great day🌹

Mar 27Reply

bella10385@isa_wine_lover question: what if I violated Posh rules in the very beginning ie, used PP? Is there anyway to start following all rules and still possibly get HP's, co-host, or even become a suggested user? Or did I blow it out of desperation and not reading rules...

Mar 29Reply

isa_wine_lover@bella10385 Amanda, as long as you commit to following the rules from now on, you're fine darling. Get involved with the community, share, share, share, and be a role model on Poshmark and eventually you'll get picked! You're not the only one who have made this mistake without knowing! I'm sure if you stick to this, and show a stellar sales record, you'll become a SU too. Best wishes to you my new beautiful friend🌹😘🍷

isa_wine_lover@carolelesly Good morning Carole! Thanks so much for your sweet words! I've met wonderful ladies here who are always willing to lend a hand when needed, so I'm just paying it forward! About your earlier unsupported transactions, don't worry about it. As I told Amanda @bella10385 a lot of people did it in their beginnings, and now are suggested users, so if you stick to the rules, you'll get far on Poshmark. Let me know if I can help with anything! Happy Poshing darling🌹😘

Apr 06Reply

agape4hopeHi, thanks for offering to help and explain things about Poshmark. I just started and I'm confused on whether the requirement to upgrade a shipping label is 2 lbs or 5 lbs. In the FAQ it says 5 lbs, but I continually see Poshers say 2 lbs (including this thread!). I'm confused :/

Apr 07Reply

isa_wine_lover@agape4hope Hi there! First of all, welcome to Poshmark!!! You'll be addicted in no time, lol. About your question, until 2 weeks ago, the limit was 2 Lbs. Now, it's 5 Lbs, making it easy to ship boots and small bundles. That's the reason why you see it in the FAQ. Let me know if I can assist you with anything else. Happy Poshing!

Apr 07Reply

agape4hope@isa_wine_lover I'm already addicted! Haha. Okay that makes a lot of sense, thank you so much for clarifying!!

Apr 11Reply

kenzie1680Okay so I'm like super new here and I don't know anything so sorry if this is like a realllllly stupid question. But when people comment on pictures asking if they will bring down the price and the lister says yes, do they just edit the listing or like how do you buy that lowered price?

Apr 15Reply

isa_wine_lover@kenzie1680 Hi Mackenzie! First of all, welcome to Poshmark! You'll get addicted in no time just like the rest of us 😘 Second, there is no stupid questions darling, and to answer yours, if you are the seller and agreed to lower the price of the item, you edit the listing, set the new price, and tag the person to let her know it's ready! Same with bundles: you add the pictures of the extra items to the listing, change the price, and tag the person. I hope this helps, and remember we're here to help, so don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions. Happy Poshing🌹

Apr 15Reply

isa_wine_lover@kenzie1680 oh, and to buy the new priced item, you just click on the blue "buy now" button and enter your information... 😉

Apr 15Reply

kenzie1680@isa_wine_lover Thank you so so much!!!☺️

Apr 22Reply

isa_wine_lover@pinktulips hi Sarah! I hope you don't mind, but I've been tagging you on party listings for the possibility of host picks. Your closet is really cute, and getting a host pick will get you some exposure, ergo sales!

Apr 24Reply

pinktulipsThank you so much! I really appreciate it!!!😍😍😍

Apr 24Reply

pinktulips@isa_wine_lover If you happen to get a chance, would you mind giving me some feedback on my closet (re: pricing, photos, descriptions, etch.)? I would really appreciate it! I had a couple of sales right away when I started, then I haven't had any at all for a couple if weeks. I'm sure your busy, but if you get the chance I would greatly appreciate it!🌷💐🌷💐

Apr 24Reply

isa_wine_lover@pinktulips Not a problem Sarah! Your prices are fair, and the cover shots really cool. If you're unsure about pricing, do a little search on Posh to check how much the same brands are selling for; that'll give you an idea. Be as detailed in your descriptions as possible. Mention all the measurements: length, inseam, anything that applies. And finally, it wouldn't hurt to list a few more items to keep your closet fresh, so when people come to either share or shop, they see different items. Oh, and don't forget to share your items to the parties and rotate your listings. Remember that some weeks you're selling like crazy and some are really slow. If you feel like you're stuck, maybe it's time to re-do some cover shots to freshen up your closet. I hope this helps doll🌷

Apr 25Reply

pinktulips@isa_wine_lover It helped a lot!!! Thank you so much for the valuable advice! I truly appreciate it 😍😍😍

Apr 25Reply

nidsk07@isa_wine_lover Hi! Quick question. Just had my first sale today. However I did not receive the shipping label yet. It's my fault I incorrectly typed my email address as .CON and need to change to . COM. But when I try to edit, it tells me the email address it already taken. I am unable to edit my email. I emailed Posh support but they emailed me back with saying they are having high volume emails and will get back to me in 48hr. My buyer is waiting :(. Can you advise me on next step? Thanks!

Apr 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@nidsk07 Hi Nidhi! First of all, congrats on your first sale darling! Sharing your excitement right now! About your question, the best thing to do is to let your buyer know about the situation, and just wait for Posh support to respond because I don't see anything you can do about it at this point. Sorry I couldn't be if any more help, but I'm sure your buyer will understand. Let me know if everything works out and cheers to many many more sales 🍷🍷🍷

Apr 27Reply

nidsk07@isa_wine_lover thank you!!!

Apr 27Reply

ashinu27Hello! Thanks for having a spot for new poshers to ask questions! I just started about a week ago and I am certainly learning as I go. I recently changed my profile after reading some of your comments like no *trading* and *paypal*. I had seen a lot of stuff on others sites like used bathing suits and nock off purses and more and thought it was ok. I would love to be a "host pick," but I don't have time for all that staging on every single picture. Do you have any suggestions on how to move from people "liking" to buying? I have shared my picks in parties too.

Apr 29Reply

isa_wine_lover@ashinu27 Anna, welcome to Poshmark!!! You'll be addicted in no time, just like everybody else 😉 The best way to get your closet exposure is sharing other people's closets. Most people will return the favor by sharing your closet, so share, share, share! I just took a peek at your closet, and it looks great, and your prices are fair, so be patient darling; sales will follow. I will help you get your first host pick by tagging you on party listings. Hosts are always looking for new rule-abiding closets to showcase at the parties. For now, keep sharing to the parties and to your followers. Anything you need, you know where to find me. Happy Poshing beautiful🌹

Apr 29Reply

ashinu27Thank you I appreciate it! I am still working on that patience thing :-). I am also already addicted!

Apr 29Reply

infamousblondeHi @isa_wine_lover! So I'm still kind of new here and having issues selling my items. Are my pics not doing the items justice? Do you think my pricing is fair? I hand-picked everything I am selling bc they're all in mint condition. I share, share, share other's items all the time so I'm trying to spread the love 💗 I've had more success selling on Vinted but I put much more work into my Posh closet. Any advice would be appreciated! I'm a stay-at-home mom who is trying to get rid of pre-baby clothing and make a few bucks ☺️

May 01Reply

isa_wine_lover@infamousblonde Hello Lindsey! I don't remember if I had welcomed you, but just in case, welcome to Poshmark darling! I just took a peek at your closet, and it looks fine. You have a few sales under your sleeve, but sometimes sales are slow. I have had weeks when I sell every single day and other weeks, nothing! That's when you have to change cover shots, lower prices, or offer just a big sale. I'm running one right now, 30% off everything. I'm not making the money I want, and I'm losing money on some items, but I want to get rid of things. Try styling your pictures with frames (not that heavy though), available in a lot of free apps: Framatic, Aviary, A Beautiful Mess, Pic Stitch... So many. Also, you could try modeling your items because people like to see how things look on. I'm looking for a mannequin on Craigslist and Amazon, but they're expensive, so we'll see. I'll share your closet later, and hopefully it'll bring the customers. Sorry I couldn't help some more :( Good luck darling!

May 01Reply

infamousblonde@isa_wine_lover Thank you for taking the time to check out my closet, I appreciate any advice! I'm looking for a mannequin too as many of my items don't fit after I had my daughter, LOL!! Thanks again 😊

May 01Reply

isa_wine_lover@infamousblonde You're welcome doll! And don't forget to share your listings to the parties; that helps a lot too ;-)

May 01Reply

isa_wine_lover@jessieljo Like it, so you can find me easily in case you have questions💐💐

May 01Reply

jessieljoHappy Friday :) I was wondering, are you only allowed to share your itmes at parties you were invited to?

May 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@jessieljo Good morning Jessica! The invites to the parties are generated by the system. There are 3 parties a day, and everybody gets invites to them. Right now the party going on is Coach, Tory Burch, Dooney & Bourke, and Michael Kors; if you have items these brands, you share them. The 3:00 P.M parties are more general (i.e shoes, handbags, accessories, etc.), and the biggest one is the night one with an average of 200K listings. I'm not sure if I answer your question, but if there's no party going on, you share to your followers. Remember sharing other people's closets is the best way to get your closet out there and get more followers, ergo sales. Have a fabulous weekend darling!

May 02Reply

jessieljoThank you! I should have said shop showrooms NOT parties...my apologies. I was on the "shop" tab wondering how I could get items in one of the shop showrooms. Answer whenever u can no rush! You have a wonderful weekend aslo! :)

May 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@jessieljo Ahhh... The showrooms! Those are put together by Poshmark, so we can't share our listings to those 😊

May 02Reply

jessieljoOohhh!! I see, makes sense! Thank you again Isabel!

May 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@jessieljo You're welcome darling🌺

ashinu27Just wanted to tell you I got my first sell yesterday! ;-)

May 06Reply

isa_wine_lover@ashinu27 Anna, darling what a wonderful news! Congratulations‼️Sharing your excitement! I remember my first sale like it was yesterday! I'll keep tagging you on party listings to give your closet more exposure and more sales of course! 😘

May 06Reply

ashinu27Thank you so much and the same here!

May 06Reply

fourjdogg@isa_wine_lover Hi...it's me again! :) Lol. I have more questions for you. Do you get a notification if one of your items becomes a host pick? Also where do you find your pics for non sale posts like at the top of your closet? Thanks!

May 07Reply

isa_wine_lover@stormandstone Hi Jodi! I saw a comment in one of your listings about trying to figure out how to do a collage of photos. In this thread you can find some valuable information. I hope it helps! And if you need anything, I'm one tag away. Happy Poshing🌹

May 07Reply

stormandstoneThank you @isa_wine_lover !

May 07Reply

isa_wine_lover@fourjdogg Hello Jeri! Welcome back 😉 Usually you get an email from Posh when you get a host pick; however sometimes you don't for some reason. When one of your listings is shared to the host pick room, you get a bunch of notifications because people congratulate you and share the item. The pictures for non sale listings I find online (google or yahoo images) and add text with the app "A Beautiful Mess." Your closet is looking great by the way🌺

May 07Reply

fourjdogg@isa_wine_lover Thanks so much Lisa! As always you are a great help.

May 08Reply

isa_wine_lover@jieinin Hi doll! Happy to help anytime😊 About followers, people have different ways of gaining more. I just share, share, share, and it brings new people to my closet. You can start following people galore, and some will follow back. It's all a process darling. And about becoming a SU, I'll tag you on my SU listing where you can see what the requirements are. I became SU after I hosted a Posh party, so you can write an email to Posh support asking to host, and I could recommend you as well😘

May 08Reply

elkinator@isa_wine_lover What great info! Thank you for being a great mentor! I am a newbie and have seen answers here that I needed. 😊. I have a few more areas where I am a bit fuzzy... I am confused about sharing. You mentioned sharing another member's closet. Do you mean the whole closet, or various items? Why would I share an item if I might want it and am mulling it over or waiting for a price reduction? I can see sharing an item that might be really fab, but too small for me. I understand if you share, it generates again on a feed. And bundling...does it ever happen that while you are bundling another posher buys one of the items? If so..then what? One more...does it ever happen that you buy an item and the photo was a stock photo from a retail vendor, then when you get the item, it isn't in pristine shape? Is it better to have some photos of the actual item? Should a buyer not buy an item that only has a stock photo? I understand you could send the item back as "not as described", but what a colossal PIA. I haven't put anything in my closet, yet. A tad nervous. But I have intent! THANK YOU!

May 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@elkinator Hello Karen! Thanks for stopping by my closet, and of course, welcome to Poshmark! Quite a few question, lol... Ok, I'm sure you've seen on many closets the phrase "Sharing is caring." The best way to get more followers and get exposure to your closet is sharing closets galore. You decide what to share! I have some people really close to my heart, so when I have time, I share their entire closets. Or when someone has shared a bunch of my items, I return the favor by sharing her listings as well. When you share to your followers, they could discover a closet they have not seen before, and might start following that person. The shares you help spread will get returned and could result on a sale, so share, share, share. If you like an item and want to buy it, don't share it; and only ask for a price reduction when you are ready to buy. About the bundling, it's never happened to me, but it's possible. If that ever happens, contact the person who bought the item, and respectfully let her know that the item is part of a bundle you're working on. I'm sure the person will understand! And finally, the stock photos are a great option when you don't have a lot of time to model or/and come up with amazing cover shots. However, if I personally want to buy an item with only a stock photo, I ask for a picture of the actual item. Also, when I'm buying from a seller I've never bought before, I check the sold items because if the person doesn't have a feedback listing, the buyers will write their feedback under the sold listing. It happened to me once, but I'm too nice, and decided to keep the beat-up jacket, lol. Tag me when you start listing items to help you share them, and if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. This is a community of women helping women! Have a fantastic weekend, and Happy Poshing ;-)

isa_wine_lover@sunfloweria Hello Jennifer! I tagged you here because congratulatory messages on Host Picks are somehow a "hot issue" on Posh, so I figured other people could find this information useful. When I had just started on Posh, a SU advice to congratulate people on their host picks, so I did. Every night I would create a cute message to post on all the host picks. I had no idea some gals didn't like to be congratulated, and they started blocking the "cheerleaders" as we were called back then (before December to be exact). So, since then, because it's impossible to know who likes to be congratulated and who doesn't, I only congratulate people I know, or new Poshers because I remember how exciting it was to receive all the Posh love on my first host picks. Even now, I love to see all the messages and cheers. To me, it's all about Posh love!!! So, it's up to you darling. I will just add, remember to share the host pick because that's how we all increase our followers, get our closets noticed, and make sales, sharing! I hope this helps, and I will gladly respond to any other questions you have. Have a poshtastic night my new friend! XOXO

poshinistajenThank you SO MUCH for answering my question! I have only been on here a few weeks and I have been so crazy busy listing stuff for sale that I was hoping someone who has been here a while could give me some insight on that! Thanks again! :) You are awesome!

May 14Reply

carlaleftygood morning and thank you for being available for girls like myself! I am new here and very excited to be on PM. I have not yet sold anything and am thinking of having some kind of sale already. i don't really understand how to provide special icons, etc. on pictures. Also, I have read all of the posh faq, etc. and am following the rules and tips, but i don't have much traffic in my closet. Am I doing something wrong or is my stuff just that ugly? Any tips from you would be greatly appreciated! thank you love.

May 15Reply

isa_wine_lover@carlalefty Good morning Carla, and welcome to Poshmark! Your closet looks really nice, but it takes a little bit to start selling. It took me a good 2 weeks to make my first sale, and even sometimes sales are really slow. It's just part of the sale process darling, so be patient, and the sales will come. In the meantime, share other people's closets. Sharing is the motor that moves Poshmark. When you share, most people will share back, opening a "new market" for your items, so share, share, share. Also, participate to the parties; if you have items that fit the party theme (girly girl, back to basics, urban glam, etc), share them to the party, so people besides your followers will see them. And finally, stick with Poshmark guidelines, which you already do. Now, there are plenty of free apps to style your photos. My favorite are Framatic, A Beautiful Mess, and Pic Stitch. Try playing with them a little, but remember, all the focus has to be on the item, so avoid heavy frames that will take the attention away from what you're selling. That's pretty much it, but if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask; I'm here to help ;-) Good luck and happy Poshing!

May 15Reply

carlaleftyThank you so much for your help love. I already downloaded the app:)

Jun 09Reply

emershine@isa_wine_lover - I appreciate your pointing me to this feed, Isabel! The tips have been very helpful. I may have a new question for you; I've noticed that some closets are almost like boutiques in that they contain multiples of the same garments across size ranges. How does PM feel about these boutiques? If a girl wants to get serious about moving inventory through the PM site, do you know anything about from whom to buy wholesale?

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@emershine Hi again Emri! I've met some of the girls with the boutiques you mentioned, and some of them have worked in retail, so they have lots of inventory. My closet, as you may have noticed basically contains clothes and shoes from my own collection, so to be honest with you, I wouldn't know of any wholesale suppliers. You can either ask the girls, though some might not want to share the info... Just my guess! Or, you could do a search engine and start your own boutique! Whichever road you take, I wish you the best😊 And sorry I couldn't really help🌷

Jun 09Reply

Jun 09Reply

emershine@isa_wine_lover Thank you for your insight, Isabel! Don't be silly, of course you are super helpful. I have one quick question that just came up. What is the best way to respond to a user asking for your email address? I remember reading on PM somewhere not to give it out, which makes sense. But what is the best way to discern whether someone really has questions about your listing?

Jun 10Reply

isa_wine_lover@emershine Hello again pretty lady! The way I've responded is: I manage all my communications here on Posh. Any questions, feel free to ask here🌹

brooklyn_sHey sweet lady! How are you?? Hope all is well! I ❤️ love all your new shoes! Just kinda of a quick question! I was reading your comments and noticed where splenduer kinda put u on blast on your own comment about timercam app, and I guess she got a tad upset b/c you didn't tell the other girl where u learned it from? I'm sorry maybe I'm sticking my nose in where it doesn't really belong but I know tons of ladies ect that use that app including myself! Now, if she created the app that's a whole diff story but to me it kinda seemed unfair to you to blast u on ur comment and also tag the original girl just so she could see. Like I said maybe it's none of my biz but my heart sank for you when I read that😞

Jun 17Reply

isa_wine_lover@lliinnddssaayy Hi Lindsay! Welcome to Poshmark! That happened to someone I know because she was accepting off site transactions (the app doesn't even let me write the site), and her account was blocked for two weeks! Her closet showed the number of listings, but not the items!

Jun 24Reply

isa_wine_lover@irka0205 Good morning Irene! Thanks for your kind words darling; happy to help any way I can ;-) For my "posters" I download the pictures from the web, and to write on them I use different apps such as A Beautiful Mess and Aviary. They're free and you can style your pictures too :-)

Jun 24Reply

isa_wine_lover@lnparker82 You're very welcome Lisa! This is the listing I mentioned. Like it, and if any questions arise, you know where to find me🌹

Jun 26Reply

kleer69Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I'm not sure I understand about sharing closets and other people's closets. How do I do that? And what does it mean when someone shares a listing?

Jun 28Reply

isa_wine_lover@kleer69 Good morning Kim! When you visit someone's closet and click on an item, at the bottom of the description you have three "buttons" : like, comment, and share. When you share the listing, your followers see it on their news feed, and the person from whom you shared, gets a notification. Sharing is the way we all make sales, so when visiting a closet, share your favorite items to your followers, and you'll get some shares in return. Let me know if I'm making any sense, lol, and if you have any other questions🌷🍷

Jun 28Reply

Jun 29Reply

lifeinstiches🙋Lisa, I hope that's your name? I have a question. If you try to tag someone & you don't find them or you do but don't see their picture does that mean they are not following you? I ask because I have someone I know is following me because we talk off of Posh but I can never tag her unless I just type out her name which is hard to do when some are very similar.

Jun 29Reply

isa_wine_lover@hotpantsrhoads Hello Heidi! I honestly don't know, but let me ask one of my friends. @vacat Hey Holly, please read the question above. Do you know?

Jun 30Reply

vacat@isa_wine_lover @hotpantsrhoads Great question! This has been an ongoing issue for quite awhile. Some people don't see my pic at all, others do. Don't know why - I think that's a PM bug. On tagging, usually the person's name will only auto fill (come up) if they have already commented on that listing. Long ago, anyone you were following would automatically pop up as you started typing their name. Nowadays, I think there's just too many users for that to occur. Another thing for EVERYONE to remember - your list of followers is not complete. It will show only the latest x number. So, someone may be following you yet you won't see their name on your list. So, before you unfollow someone, thinking they are not following you, please check first. We are all here to empower each other and one of the ways we do that is by following each other. Ok, I ranted on that a bit, but it really irks me! Hope I somewhat answered your question. Bottom line, best to keep a list handy because you just never know if anyone's name is going to auto fill. Here's a tip: on large listings, particularly party invites, if you start tagging someone and their name does auto fill, they've already been tagged and commented.

Jun 30Reply

drfoss1913You are just THE BEST. Not sure what I did to deserve your help and guidance, but it is so so SO appreciated. 💛💛💛 I do actually have a question, and you might have already answered it here, and I should read what's here before making you repeat yourself, but...I needed to stop by and say thanks, so I figured I'd ask. So here it is: would you recommend a "meet your seller" post for someone new like me, and if so, what information would you add, and is there any information that drives you nuts when you see it? Thanks again, for EVERYTHING! 💛

Jun 30Reply

isa_wine_lover@imagin8tion

Jul 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@drfoss1913 Hi again Michele! I'm blown away by your comment! What did you do to deserve my guidance? I guess I'm just happy to help anyway I can because when I started, I pretty much had to figure things out on my own. I did have people who shared my closet often to get me some exposure, and I'll be forever grateful with these ladies, but for the most part, it was me sharing closets like crazy and sometimes trying to understand why some people were so rude. Anyway, when I find a pretty new closet, I like to provide some guidance, so you know how to play the game before getting on the field 😉 I did my "meet the seller" listing early (at almost 1K just like you) because I thought people might feel more comfortable shopping if they see a face behind the closet. It's totally up to you darling. The second part of your question, I don't quite understand. Information that drives me nuts? The "meet the seller" page is a little biography, it's a posher's life in a few sentences, but you're free to post as much as you want, so it shouldn't irritate people 😉 Let me know if I answered your question, and if you have another one. Have a wonderful rest of the week Michele🌷💕👯

Jul 02Reply

gehlahnHi! How do I move down Sold items from my closet so they appear at the bottom rather than scattered throughout my closet? Is the only way to "Share" any items below the Sold item? Thank you!

Jul 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@gehlahn Good morning Suzanne! The only way to have your sold items at the bottom of your closet is sharing your unsold items. I wish there was a different way, but remember it's important to share your unsold items often, so people see you're an active seller. Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by🌷🍷

Jul 02Reply

gehlahnthank you so much! :)

Jul 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@gehlahn My pleasure🌷👯💋

Jul 02Reply

drfoss1913Thanks so much for your reply. I guess I'm just so accustomed to people on social media being mean that it's shocking when folks are sweet and helpful. 💛 As for the second part of my question, I guess I was wondering if you had any Poshmark Pet Peeves (other than folks who openly break the rules). What do Poshers do that makes you wish they would find a new sandbox to play in? 😊😊😊 That's it! Thanks again...XOXO, Michele💛

Jul 02Reply

sommer83@isa_wine_lover Hi Isabel! Im a little rusty here. PM isn't too clear on their listing policy. Can we list NEW undergarments, makeup, bath and hair items or perfume? What about new makeup bags or jewelry cases? Thanks so much! 🌷💓🌷

Jul 12Reply

isa_wine_lover@sommer83 Hi Sommer! You can list undergarments only if they're brand new with tags. Same as makeup. Not sure about jewelry cases, but I know for sure perfumes, and hair products are a no-no.

Jul 12Reply

sommer83@isa_wine_lover ok thank you so much 😊💓🌷💓🌷

Jul 12Reply

treasurefindThanks ... I am do new and feel lost ...pls share whatever you think my closet could use!!

Jul 15Reply

isa_wine_lover@treasurefind Good morning Kismet! Welcome to Poshmark!!! I just took a peek at your closet, and it looks fine. Just remember that just like in a store, people like to see the clothes on, instead of in a hanger. If you can't take pictures wearing the clothes, try searching for stock pics online. Also, only give your email address to people you know; some individuals will ask for your email address with the purpose of phishing or getting access to your personal information, so be careful. And finally, off-site transactions are a no-no. I would recommend you to put "Posh Rules Only" at the top of your closet, so people know you comply with Posh guidelines, which will give you a better chance to get host picks and more shares. For now, share, share, share, and most people will share back; participate to the parties by sharing the items that fit the party theme; and stick to the rules, and you'll get far. Good luck, and Happy Poshing!

Aug 03Reply

sarahalves@isa_wine_lover thanks for the shares! Quick question, what is the best type of cover shot? I tried to pair mine with things and keep the cover shots simple and cohesive, but now I'm thinking that may not be the best idea? If there's any advice you could give me on cover shots it would be greatly appreciated!

Aug 04Reply

isa_wine_lover@sarahalves Hi Sarah! I can only speak from my own experience and how I like things as a buyer and seller, so I think the best cover shot is the one that shows the item clear and defined; meaning that just with one look, one knows exactly what's being sold without checking the extra pics. I like the way you style your cover shots; however, I don't think it works well with dresses because all the details are "missing." I am a big fan of modeling my items, and although it takes a lot of time, I know buyers like to see how things look on. I mostly sell items from my own personal closet, but if I ever decide to expand and sell various sizes, I will probably buy a mannequin. Another option is stock photos, like the one you have for the awesome coral romper! I'm sure you can find a pic of the Lilly Pulitzer dress; it's gorgeous, and needs a better cover shot. I hope this helps darling. Have a fantastic afternoon!

Aug 04Reply

sarahalves@isa_wine_lover omg thank you so much for the helpful advice! I just took all new cover shots for my closet and I will be updating it now. Thanks again!

Aug 05Reply

thspckldfrcklsAbout how many followers does it take to make your first sale?

Aug 06Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie Hello Natalie! I honestly don't think the number of followers has anything to do with the first sale. It all relates to sharing closets galore, and eventually someone will buy. If you're sharing from a person with a lot of followers, try to share more than 5 items because one or two shares sometimes go unnoticed with the amount of notifications. Also, share to the parties, so people besides your followers see your listings. I hope this helps.

Aug 06Reply

thspckldfrcklsThank you 😊😊💕💕💎💎

Aug 06Reply

thspckldfrcklsAlso, Isa, I noticed that you've been telling people that the standard shipping label only covers up to 2 pounds, but in the "posh guidelines" section, I noticed it said you only need to upgrade your shipping label if it's over 5 pounds.

Aug 06Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie It used to be 2 lb; unfortunately, comments can't be deleted🙀

Aug 06Reply

thspckldfrcklsOhhhhh, okay ☺️ I was confused. That was quite nice of them to do though, since a bunch of people love to bundle 😊

Aug 06Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie Also, have you read the FAQ of Posh? I remember reading somewhere in there that closets with more than 20 items, I think, are more likely to sell. so add more items, and you'll see the difference.

Aug 06Reply

thspckldfrcklsOkay, will do! Thanks, Isa!!!!

Aug 06Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie You're welcome🍷🌷

Aug 06Reply

thspckldfrcklsOkay, thanks again!

Aug 06Reply

lilmistamHi sweet lady. I have a question regarding host picks. On 7/25, you and Angie @anoliver chose my Betsey Johnson heels as a Date Night Host Pick (Yay! Thank you both again!). I looked for my shoes in the Host Pick showroom that night (and a few times since then) and didn't see them. Since it was my first Host Pick (did I say Thank You? Lol) I'm not sure if that is where I would have seen them. Or maybe you and Angie changed your minds? Just curious. :) Thank you both again!

Aug 10Reply

anoliver@lilmistam Hi Tammy, I'm not sure what happened there- they should have definately been in the Host Picks! Once you choose them for an HP, they can't be "unchosen" (not that we would want to!) I don't know if it was a glitch or what, I'll see if I can go back that far into the parties and see if they are on my feed and let you know what I find👍 I think Isa might have been the one who actually picked them out so she might know a bit more than me👍

Aug 10Reply

lilmistam@anoliver Hi Angie..I just tagged you where Isabel responded explaining what happened. :) Thank you for your reply!! :)

Aug 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@lilmistam It's my pleasure Tammy! I feel bad about your host pick :( But I'll get you one in no time ;-)

Aug 11Reply

lilmistamDon't you worry about that at all!!!! It's totally okay! Really! :) :)

Aug 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@lilmistam And you know what's worse? I know I shared 3-4 listings at the beginning that did not show on the HP room, and usually hosts unlike the item after sharing it to avoid confusion, so after "sharing" it, I had no way of knowing who those ladies were because they were all new Poshers! At least you came to me and asked... Oh well...

Aug 11Reply

lilmistamno worries. it was an honest mistake! :)

Aug 11Reply

thspckldfrcklsHow would you lower the shipping cost if you have an item that, like earrings, that don't weigh a lot?

Aug 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie If you want to offer a lower shipping cost to your buyer, you have to lower the price of the item itself. Everything up to 5 lb costs $4,99 to ship, no matter how light it is🌷

wendy005And thanks so much for sharing for me. Have a great night. Enjoy you a nice glass of wine!

Aug 28Reply

themissnixonThis may sound silly but I've only been here for 3 weeks so learning the ropes! If I have someone purchase an item, and then cancel before I send out how do I change the listening from "sold" to available again. It won't let me edit the listing.

Aug 29Reply

isa_wine_lover@themissnixon It's not silly Jessica. It's a completely legitimate question ;-) You can't change a sold listing, so you have to re-list it. If you saved the pictures, it's piece of cake because you just have to copy and paste; but if not, you can take screen pictures of the listing and re-list. Let m know if I'm making sense... I'm East Coast, so it's waaaay past my bedtime, LOL.

Aug 29Reply

themissnixonThank you for responding so quickly! That was going to be my go too but wasn't too sure! You are so nice & helpful! Your closet is adorable! Maybe if you ever have any "extra time" ( like that's even a real thing) haha. Maybe take a look in my closet & let me know if there's anything you would do differently! I would be indebted to you. Again, Thankyou for being a lovely soul!👏💗🌻💃🌸🎉

Aug 29Reply

isa_wine_lover@themissnixon Happy to help Jessica ;-) My recommendation to you is to read the FAQ and DOs and DON'Ts of Poshmark, so you know exactly what can and cannot be sold on Posh. Also, when taking a picture of an item, make sure there is nothing in the pic that can divert the attention of the buyer. Make the item the main focus of the cover shot, so avoid clutter or things in the background. Once your closet adheres to Poshmark policy, I'll start tagging you and recommending your closet for possible host picks, which will increase your exposure and derive in more sales. I'm going to bed now, and I work in the morning, but other than that I'm almost always available, so any questions, you know where to find me. Have a great night, and it's very nice to posh meet you. XOXO

Aug 29Reply

2xs_trendy@isa_wine_lover can you peek at mine please? I'd love your feed back.

Aug 31Reply

isa_wine_lover@rdos1 Good morning Raina! Long time no see! How have you been darling? It's been a crazy weekend, so I've been off the radar, but I just took a peek at your closet, and it looks great! Clear pictures and throughout descriptions! Remember to share your unsold items, so the sold ones stay at the bottom of your closet. I bookmarked your closet to share it later. Have a fantastic rest of the weekend my friend💕🌷❌⭕️

Aug 31Reply

2xs_trendy@isa_wine_lover Oh it has been a long time! Doing some revamping and updates, along with adding new items. Who best to ask the you some oft of my other favorite ladies on posh! Ty for you feedback, great to be on posh again! Love it here, so much fun!

Aug 31Reply

drfoss1913Coming to you for advice again... 😔. I sold two dresses to a buyer after a long conversation about fit. She gave me two stars, saying they didn't fit. I don't think I deserve two stars because the dresses didn't fit! Anyway, I offered to buy the dresses back from her at the same price she bought them from me (like an exchange). No response. Then, I see my dresses up in her feed, and she's selling them for twice the price. If she wanted to "flip" my dresses, that's her prerogative. But to stick me with two stars over it just feels dirty. What should I do? Posh support was NOT supportive in my last situation. I feel so discouraged.

Sep 08Reply

thspckldfrcklsSo, I have a new question. Is it allowed to list Junior sizes on here, or just women's? Thanks :)

Sep 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie Hi Natalie! I would say yes because as a petite woman, sometimes I buy junior sizes; however, if you want to be 100% sure, write an email to Posh support. They're pretty good at responding!

Sep 09Reply

classicwareHow do you get sales?

Sep 09Reply

missmeek77@isa_wine_lover How do I start making sales? I am sharing and listing.. Is there something I am missing

Sep 15Reply

isa_wine_lover@classicware Samantha, I'm so sorry I'm just seeing your comment, but it's been a crazy couple of weeks. Your closet looks really nice, so it won't take long for you to start making sales. Here are my 5 cents of advice: share your closet as often as possible as well as other peoples closets; we make most of our sales through sharing, so share, share, share, and people most likely will return the favor by sharing your closet to their followers. Participate to the parties by sharing the items that fit the party theme (Accessories party, Only shoes party, Date Night party, etc). And last, but no least, follow Poshmark guidelines. I didn't see any unsupported items in your closet, but I wouldn't advertise other sites (etsy) because you're reducing your chances to get host picks. Host picks bring a lot of traffic to your closet, and consequently sales!!! I will share your closet, and tomorrow I will tag some ladies to help you with some shares and followers. Happy Poshing, and welcome to Poshmark! XO

Sep 16Reply

isa_wine_lover@missmeek77 Hi Tameka! Thanks for stopping by my closet and leave me some love! I just took a peek at your closet, and the only thing I see that might be diminishing your chances on Posh is the first listing where you're advertising a wellness product. A lot of people won't share from closets that do not adhere to Poshmark policy. Please read my comment above, where I advice Samantha about the same issue. It's past midnight, but tomorrow, once you've taken care of the listing, tag me, and I'll share some of your listings to help you gain more exposure and hopefully a lot of sales! Have a good night, and happy poshing. XO

Sep 28Reply

isa_wine_lover@sidkmogifts Good afternoon Marilyn! First of all, welcome to this wonderful world of fashion and friendship! You're going to love it, and you'll get addicted in no time! Let me give you my 5 cents of advice: share other people's closets, and they will mostly return the favor by sharing your closet. So share, share, share! Also, participate to the parties; tonight's party is Day to Night, so if you have items that fit the party theme, share them to the party, so people besides your followers will see them. And last, but no least, follow Poshmark rules: no off-site transactions, no trades, and no unsupported items (electronics, home goods, men and kids clothing, perfumes, etc). This is a community of women helping women, so any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck and Happy Poshing!

Oct 06Reply

nami001@isa_wine_lover Hi! I see people commenting that they're going to bookmark a certain closet, how do I bookmark a closet? Thank you 😊😘😉

Oct 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@nami001 Good morning Amy🌻 Some women have a "bookmark my closet" listing, but if they don't have one, just like any item in their closet, and done! I have my "welcome to my closet" and "fashion, vino, and chat" listings that people use to "bookmark" my closet ☺️ Have a fabulous week pretty lady😘

Oct 13Reply

nami001@isa_wine_lover thanks for answering my question. I was looking all over for somewhere to bookmark closets lol! Have a fab week too, fabulous lady (((hug)))

Oct 13Reply

retailsheep@isa_wine_lover hi, I hope you can help me out with this question as i'm so confuse. I had to shipped out a bulky item today, in which I had pack it in a large brown box I purchased from walmart and it weighs less then 5lbs. However, I was told that because of the destination (airplane shpmnt), lbs does not matter, and because my box was large, I was told if I want to shipped I need to pay a surcharge of $30. Have this happen to anyone or have you encounter this issue at all? I'm just so confused and don't know who to turn. thanks for all your help and support

Oct 20Reply

isa_wine_lover@bchucloset Hey girl! I've never heard anything like that before! I would think that weight is what matters regardless of the size of the box! Let me ask some Posh gurus, and they will tell you for sure! @queenmumm @fancypantsmcgee @enigma @bagsandbaubles @b_love @gordomom Ladies, please read above! Thanks in advance!😘🍷

Oct 20Reply

retailsheep@b_love @isa_wine_lover thanks so much ladies for your help and quick response! Now I know to keep this in mind when shipping out items, just need to be a little creative with the way I ship going fwd. :)

Oct 20Reply

isa_wine_lover@b_love Thanks, Brandy😘💕🍷 @bchucloset Anytime, darling🌷

Oct 20Reply

bagsandbaublesI'm not the Postal Guru but, when it comes to shipping, I do believe size matters. 😉 I'll see if I can find the specifics if you don't get confirmation soon.

Oct 20Reply

gordomom@bchucloset @isa_wine_lover @b_love @bagsandbaubles I concur with what Brandy mentioned, that there is a size restriction of 108" (length + girth). I sold a tote that the buyer was being asked to pay ~$30 upon receipt due to the size (which actually was not over the restriction, but that's another story...). It was just over 4lbs, I believe. She refused it and they sent it back to me no charge. I repackaged it and shipped it back to her with no problems. Lesson learned, but I did request that PM add the info to their shipping guidelines. Here is the URL on the USPS site for reference and it shows how to take the measurements. Just click on the "size" tab: https://www.usps.com/ship/can-you-ship-it.htm 🌷

Oct 20Reply

retailsheep@gordomom thanks for the helpful info! Greatly appreciated it! :-)

Oct 21Reply

thspckldfrcklsI'm back with another question💖💖 what counts as accessories and what counts as jewelry? I have some bracelets that I'm not sure which to list under. Would they still count as jewelry for being bracelets even though they're rubber/zippers?

Oct 28Reply

isa_wine_lover@umm_its_natalie Hey girl! I think any bracelet falls into the jewelry category. Accessories are more like scarfs, hats, sunglasses, etc.

Oct 28Reply

thspckldfrcklsThat's what I thought, I just wasn't sure. Thank you💗💗💗

Oct 28Reply

isa_wine_lover@shari23114 ✨Hey Shari✨ First of all, welcome to Poshmark❗️ I hope you're enjoying yourself so far😃 The listing I tagged you earlier is not my party; I'm just helping Ellie to spread the good news, so she has a good "turnout." Party hostesses are always in the look for new closets to showcase at the night parties, so every time I run into a beautiful policy closet, I recommend it to the host. Getting a host pick is a great way to get exposure to your closet, which will bring extra traffic, and consequently sales. This listing is dedicated to new Poshers and their questions, so when you have some time, read the whole thread, and you might find answers to questions you probably didn't know you had. If I can help you with anything, don't hesitate to ask. Happy poshing🍷

Nov 03Reply

shari23114@isa_wine_lover I want to personally thank you for all the wonderful shares you've done for me, and especially send you my contrats on your new party. All the best and Happy Poshing!

spic3y1@isa_wine_lover new to posh..thanks for all the advice. Also is there a way to change a previous rating. Thanks

Nov 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@deedeeholt Hi Donna! Welcome to Poshmark, darling🎀 If the rating was given to you, only the buyer can change it. Remember that ratings are in pilot stage still, so only you can see them! Let me know if you have any questions. Happy Poshing🍷

isa_wine_lover@fashionloverr94 Welcome to Poshmark, Alicia🌷 If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them here☺️ I manage all my communication on Posh. Have a fabulous day, and happy poshing🍷

Nov 13Reply

fashionloverr94Awesome! K so one of the things I was wondering was how do I go about setting up account for receiving transactions and sending receipts? What would I go through??also what company should I go through for S&H? Please and thank you :-)!

Nov 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@fashionloverr94 Hey girl, sorry about the delay in reply, but I was late for work. First of all, you don't have to actually set an account to receive transactions or send receipts. Once someone buys your item, Poshmark email you a shipping label which you tape to the package, and then you drop the box to the post office. Once the buyer has received the item, and is satisfied with the transaction, she accept the item, and the money is released to you. You can either transfer the money to your bank account, request a check, or keep the money in your Posh account for future purchases--this is what I do ;-) In the meantime, share your closet to your followers as much as possible, as well as other people's. Most ladies will reciprocate by sharing your closet. Sharing is key to be successful in the app. Also, participate to the parties, by sharing the items that fit the party theme. The next party starts in 40 minutes and the theme is "Best in Handbags, Clutches, and Wallets" so if you have any of these items, share them to the party, and everybody attending the party will see them, which will help you gain exposure and consequently sales. Let me know if I can assist you with anything else. We're here to help! Cheers!

Nov 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@imayi Hi Isa🙋 As long as you list all the information and pictures, Poshmark protects you. Be super detailed in your descriptions, and you'll be fine! Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by🌷

I'm available in the afternoons🌻 Happy Poshing🍷

isa_wine_lover@kbordano 💜Kim💜 Thank you so much for your sweet comment! It's been a nice ride for sure, and every day I love this community even more! How are you, darling? How's work, and how's that precious little prince of yours?

Nov 22Reply

grabngloWe are doing great. Work is great finally slowing down a bit for the holidays before it gets crazy again in the new year. My lil Jackson had open heart surgery in August and we were in the hospital for a month but he is out and recovered well. Feels much better than before the surgery so we are very blessed! Great to catch up with u! Again I'm so glad to see things are going well! You rightfully deserve the success! TTYS

Nov 22Reply

isa_wine_lover@kbordano Open heart surgery? Poor baby! But I'm glad he's doing great now! God bless you both🙏 Well, enjoy your holiday season, and stay in touch! I've been Poshing way less since I came back to work 3 months ago. I did have the opportunity to go to Poshfest, in SF 2 weekends ago, and I'm telling you, I got my "Posh fix" like you wouldn't believe! It was the most amazing experience! I would have loved to meet you, but maybe next time😘 Thanks again, sweetness💖

Nov 22Reply

lauras_boutique@isa_wine_lover 💕HI Isabel!😀🌺 You've been so sweet to support me since I am new to PM, and I am so loving meeting so many really incredible, amazing, and kind like you!!🌹🌺 I do have a question please! I have heard different opinions on sharing, so I'm just not sure what to do when someone who has non-approved posh items in their closet shares one of my items. Should I share if I can find an approved item, or not share at all? I want to be kind to everyone, but still want to follow posh rules! You're a doll! Laura 💕🌹🌺❤️🌻

Nov 25Reply

isa_wine_lover@msu0712 Hi there, Laura🌷 I try my best to only share from approved closets! I never share unapproved items though, but sometimes it's hard to check an entire closet for compliance. When I find a beautiful closet with a few unapproved items, I might say something! If you want to share an item you absolutely love, or just because, share it, darling! That's POSH ❤️Love❤️

Nov 25Reply

lauras_boutique@isa_wine_lover 💕You're a doll Isabel!!😀❤️ What you said makes total sense and what I will follow! 🌻💝🎀💚 I'm glad that I have had the chance to meet you!! Laura 💕🌹🌺❤️🌻💗

Nov 25Reply

nami001@isa_wine_lover Hi Isabel! I have a question about sharing host picks. I usually share as many host picks as I can & also congratulate the person who received the host pick. Is there any etiquette to sharing and congratulating a host pick that is actually the host of the party? What I mean is, I congratulated a host pick and shared it. The person told me they were the host but thanked me. I told them a host pick was a host pick and I thought their closet was gorgeous & just wanted to celebrate and share. While I was going thru the host picks I wasn't looking at the name of the closet, just sharing what caught my eye. I went to share some cute shoes but was blocked from sharing. It was the listing of the host from the party. I guess my question is, is it proper etiquette to not share or congratulate the hosts of the party? I never really pay attention to who the hosts are or the closet names. I feel so bad that I offended her somehow. How should I be sharing host picks & congratulating people? Sorry for the long message. 💕

Nov 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@nami001 Good morning, Emy🌻 I used to congratulate everybody on their host picks until some people started blocking for that reason. Party hosts are allowed to share up to 10 items from their own closet to the party, so congratulating them on those picks doesn't make a lot of sense if you ask me. Congratulatory messages are a matter of personal taste; some people like them and some don't, so when I'm "working" a party, I share the host picks, which at the end of the day is what benefit everybody! I might congratulate a PFF, or an amazing cover shot, but that is it! I learned my lesson as a newbie, lol. I hope this helps, my sweet Emy; just remember that sharing is always the best way to go. Happy Thanksgiving🍷

Nov 26Reply

nami001@isa_wine_lover Thank you Isabel for taking the time to answer my questions. I didn't know that hosts could share their listings to host parties. I thought other hosts picked it for them. I'll be more watchful and just share hosts own picks instead of congratulating them. I'll still congratulate non hosts on their achievement because I know it gives them a boost of confidence and makes them happy. So much I still have to learn on here lol. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I'm very thankful that I met you and even more thankful for always being there for me and others. You make Posh a special place. Have a great holiday 💞 aloha !

Nov 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@tiffyk123 Tiffany, welcome to Poshmark🌷 I tagged you on this listing because there is a lot of valuable information in the thread. Save it in your likes, and come back to it if you have questions.

Nov 27Reply

tiffyk123Thanks so much! This feels like a full time job so far! Happy holidays!

Nov 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@tiffyk123 Lol! It can be, but we all do what we can! For now, here is my 5 cents of unsolicited advice: share your closet to your followers as much as possible, as well as other people's. Sharing is how we get our closets out there and gain exposure. Participate to the parties by sharing the items that fit the party theme. And last but no least, follow Poshmark guidelines, and you'll get far! It's a lot of fun, and you get to meet amazing women while making some extra cash. I'm absolutely addicted, lol. If I can help you with anything, now you know where to find me. Cheers🍷

Nov 27Reply

tiffyk123Thanks!!!!!! I was close to giving up.......I will hang in there with these tips!

Nov 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@imonlyhismbarr Heather, this is a listing dedicated to new Poshers and their questions; read the thread, and you might find answers to questions you didn't even know you had. Also, I had not realized, but the kid's shoes are also unsupported items! List as many items as you can, and I'll help you with some shares as long as they are women's clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Dec 18Reply

fash137Hi!, and thanks again for all of your help. It took me about an hour, but I read your whole thread. Definitely found a lot of answers to questions I didn't know I had, 😁 lol, it was great. Even though I signed up in September, I wasn't sure what to do for a while so I just started listing, and I am definitely addicted. I do have a question, when someone likes one of my listings, I respond immediately. I just say "thanks for the like". I do not ask if they are interested because I read in the guide that I should not. Should I not even say thanks for the like, not sure what to do. Just thought I should be courteous. Thanks in advance. I am also looking into trying the apps you mentioned. Thanks for that also. 😊 and once again thanks for taking the time to help all the newbies💚. Have a great night😴

Dec 18Reply

vlcs66@isa_wine_lover Hi Isabel! 🙋 Just a quick question I thought you might have some insight on. Are we allowed to list about an awesome sale at a retailer many Poshers like? For example, Rebecca Minkoff is having a great sale today and I wanted to let fellow RM lovers know by making a quick listing from a snapshot of the email. I know we can't self-promote outside websites like eBay and such, but I wasn't sure in this situation!

Dec 23Reply

isa_wine_lover@vlcs66 Hi Veronica! You got me with that question, lol! I know the perfect lady who can fill us both in about this! @queenmumm Brenda, love, could you please read above and let us know about this? Thanks m'queen 👑

Dec 23Reply

vlcs66@isa_wine_lover Thank you!! I just don't want to break any rules 😊

Dec 23Reply

queenmumm@vics66 Veronica, anything in your closet that directs potential buyers to purchase away from Poshmark is considered an infraction of the TOS whether it is a post directing them to your own website or another's (in this case, RM). I love a good bargain like everyone else, so when I see my fave brand/department store having a fab sale, I post about it on Instagram, Twitter and/or the PFF Facebook page so I won't be crossing the streams, so to speak. :). I understand your reasoning for wanting to do it, but also don't want your closet jeopardized. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

Dec 23Reply

Jan 02Reply

isa_wine_lover@blushngloss Hi Teresa🙋 Thank you so much for your sweet comment, and welcome to Poshmark🌹 You have a closet full of beauties! I'm glad we're not the same shoe size because I'm a shoe hoarder, lol. For collages, I use Framatic, Collage, and InstaCollage; however, for cover shots I like to feature the item once, and the collages I use to show the detail. My advice for you to get your cute closet out there is to share, share, share! Share your own closet, as well as other people's. We all benefit through sharing each other's closets. Also, participate to the parties by sharing the items that fit the party theme. And last, but no least, follow Poshmark guidelines. You're off to a great start; I'll share some of your items to my followers to get you started, and I'll tag you on party listings, so your closet can be showcased at the night parties with a few host picks, which will increase traffic and generate sales. Wishing you a very successful Posh experience, and if I can be of any assistance, I'm one closet down. Happy Poshing🍷

Jan 02Reply

movieclosetThanks for sharing my Tory Burch Rain Coat! I'm thrilled to have been picked last night for a Host Pick! And I'm super grateful for the share! I'm new so I'm learning the ropes and appreciate your comment section to learn more!

currentfashion@isa_wine_lover 💌 Hi, how kind of you to send me that "sweet" message💌. Yes, your so right it's very addicting, lol. 💌I just ❤️ your Closet, and the Post in your closet. Your a very beautiful lady, it's very nice to meet you. 💌 I just think it's awesome that we help one another.. I've been really blessed that you and so many other Poshers 👭have taking the time to reach out & show me 💁 the way👣. I'm really excited 💃about meeting your friend that lives in Louisiana. I definitely will be referring to your Poshmark guide. Ty 🌹 so much!

gemsbyjoanHi Lorna! @angelicaltouch Here is a "new posher" listing from Isabel. Might be helpful to you. 😀 Val

Jan 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@sarahbellex Good morning, Sarah🌈 You are correct, undergarments and makeup can be sold only if they are brand new with tags. Electronics are a no-no, but cases are allowed. I just took a quick look at your closet, and if you want to stick with Posh rules, you might consider removing the little doggies as well :) I'm always logged in, so if you ever need anything, I'm one tag away! Happy Poshing, and have a fabulous day🌷

isa_wine_lover@angelicaltouch Hi Lorna! How are you, dear? I'm sorry I have not been able to call, but I'm just enjoying my mom as much as I can! As I told you, I had not seen her in 3 years, so it's been a fabulous time with her. I couldn't really get the whole story from your message, but if you still need help, it's easier to do it here at the moment. If you're not satisfied with a purchase because the item is not as described, or it was misrepresented, you can open a case with Posh, and after further investigation, they refund your money. Do not accept the order because once that's done, there is no way to get your money back. I'm going to bed now, but if you need something else, tag me, and I'll be more than happy to help. Have a great evening🌷

angelicaltouch@isa_wine_lover ....Hi! It is a Beautiful thing to have a Great Relationship with Your Mother...Why? I called I had to make a choice...I order something...2 Sweaters ....both smelled..Animal hair on the sweater, Pilings on both sides of the Breast...Poshmark offered me $10 Credit...and keep Sweaters....I did not want something that Smelled......I did not think about my Shipping Expense...I was not please with Poshmark ....Fixing my money.....has credit where I can not take it out...since I did not what to do ...Val...you...So I call so I could understand If I make this choice......Wrong choice..Thanks anyway....I need to find someone...Who close to Poshmark to help me...Whoever person Handled my case...Did not Care😥😔

Jan 22Reply

isa_wine_lover@angelicaltouch Good morning, Lorna! I'm sorry you had a bad shopping experience, but believe me, we've all been there! One of my first purchases I made was a white down jacket; I paid $100 for a jacket that wasn't worth $20: dirty, stained, just awful! At the time, I didn't know any better, so I accepted the purchase, and lost my money because I never wore it or did anything with it. You don't need a person close to Posh because just like you, we don't work for Posh! If the case was resolved already, my advice to you at this time is to do a little research about a seller before making a purchase. I usually check the sellers sold listings because if a buyer is unhappy, she's probably going to complain on the listing of the item she bought from this person. Unfortunately with more than half a million closets, we're going to encounter some bad apples, so we have to do our research first. Again, I'm sorry this happened to you, but please don't get discouraged because I assure you, the good outweighs the bad tremendously! I wish I could be of more help, but those situations are handled by Posh 😔 Wishing you a blessed day and weekend✨🌻

Jan 27Reply

isa_wine_lover@broshel Good morning Jody✨ For Poshmark to give a discount on shipping, you have to drop the price by at least 10%. When I create a bundle, I price it a little higher until the buyer like it, and then I drop the price to the agreed amount. Remember, you have to create a new listing, otherwise it doesn't work. Have a fantastic day🌷

Feb 03Reply

patricewymoreI am notifying some of my favorite people that I'm leaving Poshmark next week. I've had so much fun here and feel that I really know you but it's just time for me to go. I'm spending so much time on the site and I need to do other things. I have always loved your closet and hope that sometimes I will be able to peek on Poshmark and visit my friends.

Feb 08Reply

isa_wine_lover@patricewymore Oh no, Patricia 😢 I know Poshmark can sometimes take a toll on our day-to-day life, but there are ways to handle it, so you don't have to close your closet! I was addicted since day one and used to attend every single party until I realized I wasn't getting a return on all the time invested! We all do what we can with the little time we have! For instance, I used to get so stressed out about returning every single share, but now that I'm working, it's impossible! So whenever I can, I share the parties and my PFFs, and I picked one or two night parties to attend. Being in the East Coast makes if a little harder; besides hubby comes first! What I'm trying to say is take a break if you need to, and then come back refreshed and don't spend that much time! Do what you can, and believe me your PFFs will understand! Whichever decision you take, I wish you the best, my dear 😘💕🍷

Feb 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@michelejbarker Hi Mica! I'm tagging you on this listing because I created it specially for new Poshers and their questions. There are tons of info that can help you, so when you have time, read the whole thread, and you might find answers to questions you didn't even know you had😊 In response to your first question, to tag a person, you put the "@" sign in front of the username; i.e @isa_wine_lover The only time when you don't have to do it is when you're in the user's closet. Second question, the discounted shipping is offered by Poshmark, and it happens when you drop the price of an item 10% or more. Then all the people who have liked the item get a notification about the discount which will work only for one hour from the time you drop the price. Now, I'm heading over to your closet for a little tour to see what's going on with sales🌻

Feb 10Reply

patricewymoreThanks so much I really appreciate your taking the time and advising me. I'm going to do exactly that I'm taking a break and I hope I'll be back soon.

Feb 10Reply

bluidvllYour style is classy and exquisite I have been on here now for a month and a half and shared shared shared tons so I have seen lots of closets, trust me. As I get into this by way of investing in a laptop or iPad and upgrading my pictures etc. I will be trying to have the same style not that I will copy you but something along what you have done. Very nice!😀😀😀💚💜💜💛

Feb 12Reply

isa_wine_lover@bluidvll You're so sweet! Thank you so much for the compliment, Janet, and welcome to this wonderful world of fashion and camaraderie! Feb 12Reply

bluidvllThanks to you! Have a good night as well!😀💜

Feb 12Reply

isa_wine_lover@michelejbarker Hi there Michele🌷 How are you doing? As I promised, I checked your closet, and this is what I see: first of all, perfumes are unsupported items as well as the gel nail kit and the wedding book. Some people might visit your closet, but won't share because of these items. Second, you might want to find a better way to display your jewelry because the white wrinkled paper is not doing any justice to the pretty pieces you have; same with the black (?) fabric. The one I use is a table cloth that I bought specifically for my pictures. Natural light is always the best way to capture all the details from our items, so look for an area in your place that gets a lot of natural light. It could be close to a window, outside, anywhere! Just remember that our cover shots are what makes our closets inviting, just like in a regular store. When you visit the mall and see something you like in the window, you enter the store! It's the same concept. I take lots of pictures before finally shooting the one I want that best display my item. And finally, shares are key to get your closet exposed. I see you've only shared 15 items. Start with the night parties, and share all the host picks to your followers. Most people will return the shares giving your closet exposure to hundreds of users. There are plenty of following games out there, which is an option to increase your follower base. However, before you can join some of them, specially from suggested users, your closet has to be compliant with all the rules of Poshmark. And that's my 5 cents of advice, my dear. Do those things, and be patient; Rome was not built in one day. It took me a while to make my first sale 😘 Wishing you many, many sales🌷 And I'm always around, if you have more questions🍷

Feb 12Reply

michelejbarkerYour feedback is appreciated! I am tryingI just wanted to get items on here make money. I used to own a store I love doing displays but with my Multiple Sclerosis and nerve damage it takes me a while and I'm inpatient not remembering navigation to set my photo displays up on phone or computer and I was a Marketing Executive. I'm slowly cleaning it up, I will take better care with displays and sharing items, I'm learning the tricks and years of Poshmark has only been 3 weeks. I feel disappointed in myself. Thank you again for the feedback'

Feb 13Reply

isa_wine_lover@cshebat Hi Cathy🙋 Welcome to Poshmark! I just checked your closet, and I have a few pointers for you; I hope you don't mind😊 First of all, if you want to do well on Posh, you have to start off by following Poshmark's regulations and guidelines. Undergarments are allowed to be sold ONLY if they're brand new with tags. One of the most important tools in the app is sharing, but there are a lot of people who will not share from closets that don't adhere to posh policy, so you might find yourself sharing a lot, and not receiving a lot of shares in return. Also, party hosts only showcase items from rule-abiding closets, so having unsupported items might hinder your possibilities of being showcased at the night parties where only a couple hundred closets are curated from thousands and thousands that are shared! I noticed you have a lot of jewelry, so remember to share it to the jewelry parties! There is one tomorrow at 3:00 EST🎉 You might also consider joining share groups and following games; the first are great to get your closet out there by means of sharing, and the second are to increase your following base. Now, about the ads, I love to play around with different picture apps like Aviary, Framatic, InstaCollage, and A Beautiful Mess. They're user friendly, and you only need to upload any background or picture and add some text with the app. If you need some help with this part, please let me know! Also, always remember that your cover shots are what entice buyers to "enter" your closet😉 And finally, about trading, it's not prohibited, but because of its risky nature, it is not recommended. All purchases are backed up by Poshmark; buyer and seller are protected by Posh Protect, but with trades, if something goes wrong, you are on your own! I'll be around in case you have more questions🌻 Happy Poshing✨🍷

Feb 17Reply

motherskissIf a person is unhappy with their order, can you ask for it's return and refund their money even AFTER they have accepted it? This lady gave me 1 star bc she did not like my packaging. I wrapped it in tissue paper and used bows and everything, I am thoroughly pissed now,,,, @isa_wine_lover

Feb 17Reply

isa_wine_lover@motherskiss Oh man! I'm sorry about this unfortunate incident; there's no pleasing everybody for sure! My advice would be to just let it go, Dani. I know you're pissed right now (I'd be too), but how would you refund her? What you can do though, is send an email to Posh support with the screenshot where she mentions not liking the packaging, and maybe they could help you either process a refund, or delete the negative feedback? It's worth a try, I think.

Feb 17Reply

motherskissI know the comment can not be removed. I had a lady give me 1 star once because the item was listed delivered and she didn't actually have it and later that day it arrived. She wrote Posh and asked to remove her rating and was told it was not possible. Anyway, in ALL my packages I send a note telling them if they have problems they should contact m BEFORE accepting, therefore making refunds easier. Oh well, you're right, I should just let it go....I read all of the beautiful "love Notes" I have received and that made me feel better. Thanks for letting me vent @isa_wine_lover

Feb 17Reply

hcwipf2424@isa_wine_lover can u help me? Im new to poshmark. I sold an item this morning and the buyer changed her mind. I canceled the transaction but it still has the sold flag across the photo. Do i need to remove that post and redo it?

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@hcwipf2424 Hi Heather! Sorry about the cancelled sale :( It has happened to me, as well. You can't remove sold listings, so send an email to Posh support from the "my sales" tab, then order inquiry, and they will take care of it! Wishing you many, many sales🌷✨🍷

Feb 18Reply

hcwipf2424@isa_wine_lover Thank you so much for your help and for sharing my listings! I appreciate it very much.

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@hcwipf2424 It's my pleasure, and welcome to Poshmark🌷

Feb 18Reply

isa_wine_lover@jonnayalove2 Hey girl! When you visit a closet and ask the closet owner to check yours, that is "advertising" and It is not ok to advertise in people's closets. I recommend you check the DOs and DON'Ts of Poshmark to avoid headaches in the future. The best way to get your closet noticed is by sharing and following Poshmark guidelines. Happy Poshing🌷

Feb 20Reply

wandalemmons@isa_wine_lover I have been on here a while but am still confused about whether the shopping bags and boxes and tags are supported or not. I see them in a lot of closets. I still don't understand why people would buy them. But whatever. Just wanted to know if they are posh approved

Mar 25Reply

isa_wine_lover@wandalemmons Hi Wanda! I agree with you about why people buy a shopping bag; the boxes, I understand, specially when you have designer items for sale (you want to mail them in the designer's box). I wouldn't sell, nor buy them, however, they are Posh approved.

Mar 25Reply

wandalemmons@isa_wine_lover ok thanks for clearing that up for me. Always wondered about that.

Mar 25Reply

isa_wine_lover@hauteandsassy Patricia, I was about to tag you on this listing! If you read the thread, you might find some useful information✨

Apr 03Reply

hauteandsassyThank you @isa_wine_lover There is so much to learn lol I'm loving it, and it's just getting everything put up with lots of detail. I haven't made a sale yet, but hopefully soon. I just know that if they are new with tags I can't really go down much. I'm still trying to figure out on what to do for a sale can't wait for that first one. lol. A lot to absorb my dear. Thank you so much for being so sweet 💕☺️💕

Apr 03Reply

dilledressupsHi Isabel, I remember when I first started selling we were not allowed to sell men's clothing. Lately I have been seeing more men on Posh. Did Posh change that rule?

Apr 23Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups Hi Dona🙋 Posh hasn't changed the rule, but I've heard they're working on changing things a little at the end of the year and next year. You are probably seeing not only more men's clothing, but everything else because Poshmark is growing tremendously, and they've been getting a lot of exposure on local TV news and different known shows such as Rachel Ray and others :-)

Apr 23Reply

dilledressupsThank you Isabel for helping me with questions. Very much appreciated. I saw Posh is having a 0.99 shipping today only on 10% drop in our listings. Do you know if Blitz is only avail to the one's who like our listings that gets notified by email? Or is it also avail to anyone who likes our listing item and then we drop it 10% when they are ready to buy. And is it only for that one hour? I feel like I am missing something here. :)

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups Good morning, Donna🌈 When you drop the price at least 10% on an item, Posh sends an email to everybody who had liked the item. The discount only works for one hour, so if the person comes after the hour has gone by, she has to pay full shipping price. If you want to help the buyer, you can create a new listing with a higher price and drop it when the person is ready to buy.

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups The 500-characters rule is killing me, lol. Keep in mind that if you had dropped the price for a sale in the past, and then rise it again, when you drop it back, the shipping discount is not triggered. I hope I'm making sense, lol. Let me know if you have any other questions 😘

Apr 26Reply

dilledressupsYour are the best! Thank you for all your help and for such quick reply's. <3

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups Anytime, darling😘

Apr 26Reply

dilledressupsSo if someone makes me an offer on an item, as long as it was not reduced in the past it will qualified?

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups When someone makes an offer, the shipping is $4.99. If you agree with the offer, you can help the buyer get discounted shipping by changing the price on the listing. However, I always rather to accept the offer because the person is bond to buy once you accept it.

Apr 26Reply

dilledressupsIsabel, I totally get the part about if the item was reduced in the past the discount does not get triggered. However I am a little confused on how I can help the buyer get the discounted shipping after they make an offer and before I accept the offer. Or is it best to just make up a new listing at a higher price? And have them like it so they will get notified by email. Sorry this is not sinking in for some reason. Argh!

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups No problem, darling, lol. You're absolutely right, if you want to help the buyer get discounted shipping, you can either change the price on the actual listing, which triggers the discount, or create a new listing with a higher price, and ask her to like it, then you drop the price :)

Apr 26Reply

dilledressupsYay!!! Now I got it.......Phew! Thank you so much again for helping me. BTW...I never told you how lovely your closet is. And so many things I actually like are not in my size. But I will gladly share your closet again soon. And if I know someone is looking for something in particular I will refer them to your closet if you give me permission to do so. I don't like to just chit chat on Posh. I wouldn't get as much accomplished doing that. lol. Thanks again my Posh friend. <3

Apr 26Reply

isa_wine_lover@dilledressups Aww, thank you, Donna💜 And for all the shares💕 I'm getting ready to leave, but I'll get you later 💌 Have a fantastic Sunday and lots of sales💰

lynnnieeWhat does it mean when someone wants you to use their FEDEX account to ship one of your items? How does that work? Is that against Posh policy?

May 12Reply

isa_wine_lover@lynnniee Hey girl! Honestly, I'm not familiar with that practice, and I think it's very odd because Poshmark sends a shipping label, so there's no need to use a different way. Using the Posh label will protect both the seller and the buyer :)

isa_wine_lover@sammtimm Hey girl! Sorry about the delay in reply, but I had visitors tonight. First of all, welcome to Poshmark💫 I'm tagging you on this listing because it has a lot of information for new poshers, and it might be useful for you sometime :) Also, I will guide you on how to help your buyer get discounted shipping ☺️ {keep reading} 👇🏼

Jun 05Reply

isa_wine_lover@sammtimm The bundle has to be made in a brand new listing; otherwise the shipping discount won't be triggered. Make sure to include all the details from the original listings. Then price it really high; the higher, the better. Once the bundle is ready, tag the buyer, and ask her to like the listing. After the like, drop the price to the agreed amount, and the discount will be triggered immediately. If you have any questions, just let me know🌷

Jun 05Reply

my3kngsHi Isa, My name is Faith and I am extremely new to Poshing. I love everything about your site and would love it if you could give me some feedback on mine. I have lots of items to add but for now I am trying to learn the ropes. Thanks so much.

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@my3kngs Hi Faith! Welcome to Poshmark✨ You have a very cute closet, so it's only a matter of time for it to be noticed and showcased at parties :) In the meantime, share your closet often, and share other people's closets. The more you share, the more people will stop by to share back. Continues👇🏼

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@my3kngs Also, share your listings to the parties, so they can be viewed by a larger audience. The 3 daily parties have different themes, so make sure you share items that fit the party theme (dresses, accessories, specific brands, etc). And last, but no least, follow Poshmark guidelines! The second frame on this listing is copied from the app; you can see what's not allowed to be sold :)

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@my3kngs It seems like a lot of info, but once you learn the ropes, it's piece of cake😊 This thread has lost of information that could be useful, so whenever you have time, check it out ;) Again, welcome, and I'm always around in case you have any questions. Wishing you a successful week and many, many sales✨🌼💕🍷

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@brooke_ashton Hi again, Brooke🙋🏼 You have a beautiful closet, and I know you will do great on Posh! Just wanted to point out that bathing suits, as well as underwear is allowed only if it's brand new with tags. Having unsupported items hinders the possibility of getting host picks which brings a lot of traffic to your closet!

Jun 09Reply

isa_wine_lover@brooke_ashton If you decide to delete the listings, please tag me! I would like to recommend your beautiful closet to party hosts, so it can be showcased as it deserves✨ Happy Poshing, and many sales🌼

Jun 09Reply

brooke_ashton@isa_wine_lover I didn't know that. Thank you! I will delete those right away. I did get one item chosen for host pick and it sold soon after. I would love another 😊 Thank you!

loveaclosetfindSeriously find these posts SO useful - Thank you so much! I stumbled upon @mamaturtledove 's post yesterday and have been trying to read through these posts to figure out how Poshmark works! So great! Thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions!

Jun 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@loveaclosetfind Thank you, Leah🙏🏼 We all were new one day and got help from lovely ladies, so it's only fair to pay it forward and help new poshers :) Welcome to Poshmark, and if you have any questions, I'm here to help🌷 Happy Poshing✨

Jun 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@redpaperclip Amanda, remember that bikinis and sports bras are only allowed on Posh if they're brand new with tags! I'm mentioning this because you probably won't get a host pick if you have those items in your closet ;-)

Jun 11Reply

isa_wine_lover@redpaperclip I'm so glad you're open to suggestions and advice! I usually take my time before saying anything unless I've been asked directly. My first week on Posh I posted a girl's coat, and I remember seeing a post on a SU's closet about prohibited items, and I took it down immediately 🙊 We've all been there🌻

Jun 11Reply

zipppitydoodah@isa_wine_lover can you tell me the guidelines to get reduced shipping? Sometimes I see items price dropped and the shipping gets reduced but sometimes it doesn't. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Aug 10Reply

isa_wine_lover@zipppitydoodah Hi Sarah! To get reduced shipping, you have to drop the price of the item at least 10% and everybody who liked the item get the notification. However, if you have already reduced the price in the past, it won't work unless you reduce it from the lowest historical drop. Continue ⬇️

Aug 10Reply

isa_wine_lover@zipppitydoodah For instance, you had a sale in your closet and reduced the price of an item from $50 to $40. Then rise it back to $50. If you drop it again to $40 because someone wants to buy it, the discounted shipping won't work because the last historical drop was $40, so if you want to help your buyer, you create a brand new listing. I usually price it really high because the highest the drop, the highest the discount ;)

Aug 10Reply

isa_wine_lover@zipppitydoodah You price high, and ask the buyer to like the listing. Once she had liked it, you drop the price to the agreed amount, and she'll get the notification. Remind her that the discount is only valid for one hour, so she has to be ready to buy. I usually like the item too, so I know exactly which discount she got. Let me know if it makes sense 😉 Happy Poshing🌷

Aug 10Reply

zipppitydoodah@isa_wine_lover Thank you for the info!! Is there any limit on price? Or just a 10% drop based on history?
