lindsdc@ellie01 yes the long strap is adjustable and removeable. I can wear the atraps over my shoulder, but I put ALOT of stuff in my purse and this purse comes right up under the armpit. So it is comfortable If you don't pack your purse to 10 lbs like I do lol! Yes the sweater runs a little large, like a flyaway sweater kinda would. I wore it when I truly wore a m but mostly L shirt. Now I am a s or m.
