carmelina@annvost sounds like you may have an allergy to copper since that usually what causes the dark marks are your skin. This is a piece that's been in my family for 20 years and has not caused any marks so I would have to believe it does not contain copper.

annvostDo you think it's a stainless steel? If that anything inside indicating what is that. Even on custom jewelry they use to put some stamps , at least with designer name or some kind of logo ????
