diggidy @melis08 Iive travelled most of my life. I saved money, put my things in a storage unit or if u have family, use them. Haha. Took a small backpack and travelled on a shoestring budget. It's cheap and easy to travel the world. The USA isn't set up for traveling so people think the rest of the world is like that. Where would u like to go? I can help give u advice on the country. And I'm gonna give u a push! U gotta do it while your young. The hardest part is buying the plane ticket. Everything else will follow easily. I said that to a few friends and they said they had the best time!!' Don't make plans. Maybe book a hostel or guesthouse for your first few nights and go from there. There will be other travelers to get advice from and traveling alone, you will meet more people than if u were with someone else. Ok, I'm getting carried away. I don't know where in Europe I'm going yet. Another Posher suggested Amsterdam. Now I can't stop thinking about it!!'❤

melis08 Oh wow you sound so experienced! Ive actually done a little traveling myself. Ive traveled all over Germany with some classmates and my german teacher arranged the whole thing! We spent 3 weeks traveling the entire country! It was the best experience of my life. Luckily, i was in high school and lived with my folks so i didnt have many bills to pay so i could save everything i made at my job and my best friend was going as well and her dad works for an airline so i got to travel roundtrip (business class, mind you) for only $500! The whole trip alone was around $1500 for me and we were there 3 weeks and did soooo much stuff! God, i just wanna go back and do it again! I wouldnt know how to plan things on my own though. I hear that its fairly inexpensive to travel overseas once you get past the flight ticket and i believe it! I have never been to amsterdam but i have heard its awesome! If you get the chance go to Germany! Its a beautiful country with so much to see and do! I could go on and on about it...haha! I wanna go all over though! Europe, new zealand, asia, everywhere! diggidy @melis08 its easy to travel on your own... And I've been to Germany. Berlin is one of my favorite cities!! Ok... Here's what u do. Buy your plane ticket. Book a hostel or cheap backpacker place (they are everywhere in the world) get yourself a 'Lonely Planet' book. They will tell you all the places to stay, how to get around, restaurants, and most important what to do and not to do so you don't addendum anyone. I say 'you don't have to like their customs, but respect them' this book is the bible for travelers. Pick your country/city. Lonely planet has one for everywhere. Ok, after u buy ticket, book your place (everything is online now) bought book, when u get there, ask the staff what to do. They will have everything set out. Or ask travelers what their fav place was. And you're off!!! All the hostels and places have info on everything. How to get around.... Stay with your family for a while. If I could have my family to stay with, I would so I could save money. I'm 40, and I wouldn't care. Go against the norm, its not wrong. But I don't have family. Take advantage of it even if u stay a couple months. DO IT!!!! ... Can I get on this gig: airfare for 500???? LOL (but kind of serious) ❤
