dfryeduoAwe, thanks for your kind words, too! How long have you been on PM now? You said you haven't sold anything yet? When I first joined I didn't sell anything for a bit, took about two weeks if I recall correctly. I got some good advice from seasoned Posher's such as to attend as many parties as I could and list all my pertinent items to the party. And, also follow as many new people the same size as me for starters, and share, share, share ... they'll reciprocate by sharing yours and your closet will begin to be seen by all their followers. I did this constantly, and then it got pretty busy for me, sold quite a bit. Offer good prices, and discounts, which you're doing. A lot of gals charge quite a bit for their items I think (designer stuff I can understand gets priced higher) but other stuff shouldn't resemble almost retail, ya know? Heck this is used clothing for the most part. A lot of stuff would just remain in our closets at home not being worn or they'd be given away, so selling here I think should resemble thrift shop pricing. Just my opinion. Well, you've made a wonderful effort in your photo presentations, you have cute clothes that are in excellent condition, and you offer a sales choice/pricing on dresses so it shouldn't be too long before sales start rolling in. Be careful trading, lots of nightmare stories out there. I've not done any myself but I've read many examples where someone gets burned. One example really surprised me & it was a trade of high end purses, one girl shipped ok, the other shipped an empty box. When the honest girl checked on her item with post office the tracking number was in the system, all appeared fine, but when she got the box it was empty!! Can you imagine how upsetting that would be?! Goodness gracious! And there isn't a heck of a lot PM can do really. The scammers close down, and they re-open with new handles. They know how to play people so just be careful. There are lots of honest traders and you'll find many have testimonials to refer you to if you wanted to see some history. Anyway, just something to keep in the back of your mind when navigating through all these sellers. Have fun, and enjoy - most ladies are really nice and you'll make some new online friends. Sorry I wrote a lot but I know you're a lot younger than me, so it's like the "big sister" in me that compelled me to send this. 😃😘😃💜🎀💜

I think I've had one sale where the lady bought straight off the listed price without asking for a price break. I didn't know she bought until much later that evening because I had no communication with her prior to the sale, and it was PM's email notice that told me the item sold, lol!!! Most folks are hurting financially so if there are any items at all you can come down on a bit it might work to your benefit! Good luck sweetie, and great luck in school, I know it starts soon (my son is finishing up two classes for his degree). Yay! 🎓📃💛😊

dfryeduoOh yeah, when you can, you should definitely add some jewelry, tops, shoes, and pants to your closet...it will attract gals to your closet!!! IMHO. Oh by the way, I love Minneapolis/St. Paul... A few of my biggest customers are there (Guidant - well now Boston Scientific, Medtronic and Honeywell). I've been up there a few times & loved it! I'm originally from Boston, but live in FL now (Orlando)!
