bbarnes362 @gots2bbrittani it was pretty neat. You just have to follow all the rules, make sales, describe your items honestly, they look for eye catching covershots (creative,) share listing, help new poshers, and all that jazz. They suggest me to other users- to follow, and purchase from.

bbarnes362 @mjs9 I would use the envelope. Box always weighs more. I think you'll be fine if it's just 2, though. If you think your going to be selling a lot, I'd invest in a scale. You can find one for like $20. It'll save you money in the long run.

bbarnes362 @suefladeboe I will. I would follow a lot more people. That's the best way to get people in your closet. I've been on almost since the beginning, so ppl automatically follow me now, and it's hard to keep up, bc over 90% of them don't show on my news feed. In the beginning- I had no help. I didn't even make my first sale, until almost 3 months of joining. Following is #1- but sharing to parties, talking to women, getting to know them, will be a very close 2nd. I know it's hard to sometimes get in, but when you do, it will make a HUGE difference. Start congratulating party hostess, and host picks. Random conversations go a long way, also.

emsgrace Hi! I was wondering if you have any advice for me on this situation! :) I was trying to purchase something from a posher who appears to be new to Poshmark. However, she took days to answer my questions, as well as accepting my offer on the item. It's been 4 days now since I purchased it, and she finally told me last night she would ship it this morning, but she still has not.

emsgrace All around it's taken me a week to try to even purchase this item from her, and then waiting for the shipment on top of that. Is this the kind of situation where I should give her a low rating and be honest? I've always had wonderful service from other poshers, so I've never had to give bad ratings

bbarnes362 @emsgrace hey! I’m so sorry you’re having difficulties. I would wait and see if she does ship, the condition of the item and stuff like that. I would definitely be honest in your rating. If I know it’ll take me a couple days to ship, I’m always up front, and I typically respond immediately to any questions. So, I would group all of these things together when giving a rating. So if bad communication and slow shipping, if it were me I would deduct 2 stars for that, and explain why.

bbarnes362 @emsgrace yes, I would just stay in communication with her. I have noticed it takes a while to get that shipping confirmation email. I’ll drop it off and wait for it to be scanned and I won’t get the email for 10-12 hrs later. You know you have to wait the 7 Days before you can cancel, but even then you don’t “have” to if you wanted to wait it out longer.
