mypinkstangHow Trading Works: 1) find a sellers item you would like to trade for 2) they pick out items to match the price out of your closet 3)you talk with the seller and let them know everything included in the trade (and vice versa) 4) if more than one item "Bundle" or make a photo college of the items you are trading 5) set price to $0.00 and the other person will buy them paying only the shipping cost. 6) after both buying the items you will then print your shipping labels off and mail the packages to the other buyer!! REMEMBER GO TO YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE AND ASK FOR THE BOXES THEY ARE FREE!!!!!!! Also don't forget your complimentary ROLL of packaging tape!!!! So no need to buy boxes or anything!! Hope this helps and can't wait to start adding more to my closet soon!!!!

cmarieallenJust wanted to share my story: A couple days ago I set up a trade with a girl for a top of hers for a swimsuit and pair of shorts of mine. We emailed addresses back and forth. I always show people reference from others I have traded with and ask for theirs as well. She didn't provide any, but I blew it off. I had to email her twice asking if the trade was still on and when she replied, she said yes but that she would have to wait until after the weekend to mail my package since she was "out of town". I told her I would try and mail her package that day (Friday), but if I couldn't I would mail it Monday like she was doing. Well, I had a funny feeling and I'm glad I didn't mail it Friday, because Friday night I went to look at we page and it was gone. I emailed her asking if she had closed her closet or blocked me. She emailed back saying that her closet had been closed by Posh for using PP and that she was starting a new closet. It seemed weird since I know plenty of people who use PP, but since they have never ripped anyone off, they haven't gotten in trouble. I asked her then if she had any reference of people that she had traded with so I knew it wasn't a scam. She replied with, "Reference?? Uh, let's let this trade go Hun!" So I then replied, "Okay. Since you were offended by me asking for reference and won't provide any or be nice about it, it scares me anyways. Sorry." She then replied, "How can I provide reference if my closet was CLOSED DUMMYY!!! I don't have to provide you with SHIT!! BYE!" I emailed her back saying I was sorry I asked and to have a nice day. I can't believe that someone would be that rude!! I figured she might have remembered one or two of the people she did business with, I never expected her to be so mean. If I find her when she re opens her closet, I'll be sure to share! I wouldn't trust that.

I take my time in making sure each item is in great condition, packed as best as possible and wrapped beautifully- I look for the same in traders; quality and cleanliness, you don't have to wrap it if that's not your style I trade selectively I can't trade 24/7 @ $7 a pop. Also, I usually like to trade for a few items to make shipping worth it-NO PAYPAL& I ONLY trade with people who have previous trade feedback- Sorry, but I don't want to be scammed again.. But I usually just read their comment and pick and choose who I like then look at the bottom items they have listed in their closet to see if they have any items that's sold at $0 . BC that's the easiest way...

mypinkstang@lorlordeluxe yep :) I usually go thru the list every month or so and pick a few more people to go snoop thru their closet. I just figured this is easiest way to get a lot of traders together in one place. I really wish they would let me host a TADERS CLUB (people that trade items) POSHPARTY! That would be nice to see everyone's items later out mixed up in a party and be able to use the "sort" button to chose things in "my style" !!!!! That's my next goal! But yeah I'm with you on people saying they only trade shirts or only trade shoes. The only time I do not trade an item is because the item: 1) doesn't belong to me 2)is way expensive that I wouldn't be able to find enough things (like $600 ring , $300 bag but they only have $5-10-15 items in theirs) I like the idea of trading for items no matter on price just agreeing on it looks close to same value... Because I really like some people's closet and would love to trade but I sometimes price mine real low if I'm just trying to hurry n sell

She traded me but as soon as she clicked buy it sent the label to me so then she went back and clicked "accidental purchase" which POSHMARK will then send the seller a letter that says "DON'T SHIP YOUR ITEM BUYER CANCELED THE TRANSACTION DO NOT SEND" but the shipping label still prints off and she's said she does it BC she gets free shipping that way BC it credits the 6.99 back to her account! I've never done this

I really wish Posh supported trading. 2 days ago I got stuck with a $17.50 in amount due shipping fee's on trades b/c people hadn't paid the difference in weight, I contact posh, but apparently they only reimburse credits on "sales". boo. I just ended up blocking the girl who stuck me with it. I didn't want to refuse the box b/c she already had my items, so I was bound and determined to get my end of it lol bad trade all the way around, got yucky items. I do have a Recommendation/warning post on my page, if you are ever looking for traders. I give feedback on all my trades so if people are looking for awesome trustworthy traders they can reference them there easily. I'm like you though, I like trading the quality of items, rather than the listed price that someone came up with b/c some people get SO high. My goal is for both parties to feel like they got awesome equal quality and numbers of items. I would NOT do the trade with that girl & honestly I would block her ASAP. Her page will get shut down and so will yours. I have seen it happen to so many people and I actually read a big post on it. Once reported Posh issues you a invoice type statement with all the payments bypassed . Mail fraud is serious. I would pass on anyone who ever tries to do that. @mypinkstang
