furflies @imsunshine13 I think in the darker neon the red flash is harder to see unless in brighter lights. There are flashes of red but I've always thought the better colors look more like a violet blue sapphire. In any I think lighting is everything. Those stores always have an unrealistic lighting system.

imsunshine13 I own several NEON tanzanite rings al over several cts , it doesn't matter what light they are in or under. Indoor lighting, the sunlight. Or the jewelers display cases with the perfect lighting. You can see the reds come thru..... Do you know the grade of these pieces??? Love NEON tanzanite. Do you have the GEM report with any of these???

furflies @imsunshine13 The only one that has the AGI report is the Portuguese round listed. Levian doesn't give reports with their pieces. The reports usually run around $400-$500 so I haven't gotton one on the necklace or ring. I bought the dark super neon from Gem Shopping Network for my daughters as heirloom pieces. I got the the 3.5 caret Portuguese rounds and had them set. GSN is the only high end network I would buy from. I have a 5 caret necklace I'm keeping for myself that's the super dark neon and its a trillion cut which is my favorite. Personally I feel the deeper the blue the better quality. I did a lot of research before purchasing theirs.

imsunshine13 @furflies Thanks for the info.. I have collected stones set and unset for years, I have a lot of different stones unheard of by most people. I attend the gem shows around the world and have collected many exotic stones. The problem with trying to resell them is they are only worth whatever a person is willing to pay for them. You can have all the AGI,,,, GEM. Reports you can get for them, which are really only good for insurance purposes if stolen or lost....I never buy anything from tv shows.. For most that I have bought are always a disappointment when delivered.. But I am used to seeing them up close and personal before I buy. I feel sorry for the people who buy from tv from the cheaper shows, if these people would ever see the true stones they would be amazed. Even when they buy from the local dept stores. The stones are such a low quality but they sell them at top dollar. Then put them on sell at 75 percent off!!!!

furflies @imsunshine13 Oh I agree. GSN is owned by Frank Cercelli who does a lot of designing for the stars. His pieces can run as high as $500,000.00 and up. My personal faves are Alexandrite, Pariba Tourmaline, and Demantoid Garnet w/ horsetail inclusion. These East African color change garnets they discovered a few years ago remind me a lot of the Alexandrites. The old color change were ok but these new are beautiful. You'll have to check out GSN sometime, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. On Dish it's 229 not sure on Direct or cable what it would be but they even have Red Beryl sometimes. I love colored gemstones more than diamonds.

imsunshine13 @furflies I agree with you diamonds are nothing compared to the colored stones.!!! I also like Alexderite, Crome diopside, Australian opals. I have manderian orange garnets. A huge 8 ct set in a necklace. Also an 8 ct in a ring. WOW. They are out of sight. Rubies galore., Burmese which you can not get any more. I have a beautiful. Pink Rodalite. 45 cts set in yellow gold with diamond accents as a pendent.. It is so very gorgeous I have many others a 6ct crystal clear emerald in a ring. Talk,mahout bling!!!! It is not made in a lab either.. Come from a very good friend whose family owns an emerald mine in Columbia. The stones you have listed I have many oh those. Once a collector always a collector!!!!! I have so many pieces and I never wer any of it.. What a shame it is all put away, it is too nice to wer for everyday. I do on occasion wear pcs of Druzies. I think that is a beautiful stone also, but not he ones they sell on tv...

furflies @imsunshine13 I'd love to be able to get a good Columbian Emerald for my daughter. It's her daughters birthstone. My other daughters dauggters birthstone is ruby so a Burmese ruby would be awesome. I heard that the embargo in Burmese/Madagascar were lifted so maybe those will start being available again. I'm not a fan of red stones but in my sold stuff you'll see a rubilite I traded with someone that's beautiful. Like you I never wear my rings anymore and my daughters wear white gold so they aren't into it either. I hate I spent a small fortune on stuff and seems like I'm giving it away now. I've saved the best stuff though still. Seems like we go through phases and now mine and daughters is our LV collection. Did you see my chrome with the tsavorite I had listed? It's a beautiful piece too. So sad 😢

bre5743 @furflies That would be nice if he could, we've just had a terrible year. Me a major surgery then had to get my teeth pulled and Dentures and he just had to have surgery but wouldn't allow them to do it in the OR, he had in done in the ER which has never been done b4 and he went to work the next day. He's a contractor for FedEx and has no one to drive his route if he takes time off. I really don't know how he does it.
