'50s Handmade Blue Gingham Rockabilly Dress w/ Cross Stitch Designs & Scarf M

Vintage 1950s homemade blue gingham swing dress buttons down the bodice, extending to the hips. It is collared and short-sleeved. Extensive cross-stitch runs down the back and lavishly crawls around the hem. I can only imagine the days that it took to hand cross-stitch the complicated designs. There is a small tear on the hem that was so expertly patched that it can't be seen from the outside of the dress. Otherwise, this vintage homemade dress is in excellent condition. The vintage Vera (polyester) scarf was made in Japan. Dress measures: Bust 34 inches; Waist: 26 inches; Hips 44 inches; Sleeves 17 inches (measured from collar to cuff); Length 46 inches. Scarf measures: 10 x 55 inches.
