kmccaleb71Hello love the photo❤ what app? Thank you

Jan 10Reply

katjo@kmccaleb71 Hi. Thank you! I use about 20-30 photo editing apps., I've made folders of many so I'm not certain which photo is from which particular app. 2 of my favorites are InstaFrame and InstaCard professional edition. They are very user friendly and a great place to start. 👍😃

Jan 10Reply

fergerson99How much for that Louis?

Jan 10Reply

katjo@fergerson99 I'm sorry that's not for sale, that mine! 😊

Jan 10Reply

itsmejudye@katjo What is the best way to contact you about a Paypal order?

Jan 11Reply

katjo@itsmejudye Hi. I'm sorry I don't do PayPal. All sales through Poshmark only. 👍😃

Jan 11Reply

i_love_shoesHi am new to posh and just as soon as I sign up noticed that someone is selling a item by using a pic of the item that was actualy posted by someone else on instagram that I happen to follow. #coincidence or is it a sign of no good can come out of this? Do you have any info as far as what kind of buyer protection does posh have in place to protect buyer from fraud? Thx

Jan 12Reply

katjo@i_love_shoes Hi and welcome to Poshmark! Poshmark does back your purchases and if you purchase something and its not what you purchased or in the condition stated you do not have to accept it. A seller is not paid until the buyer accepts the package. If you go to account then to "Frequently asked questions" it will explain their policy and its also a great place to start.😃

Jan 12Reply

i_love_shoes@katjo ok thanks I will definitely be reading! Thanks for the response.

Jan 12Reply

katjo@i_love_shoes You're welcome..anytime.😃

Jan 12Reply

katjo@listefanxo Hi and welcome to Poshmark! To make a bundle you group all the items the person wants and take a picture of the items to make a new listing to sell the items all together as one listing. If you look towards the bottom of my closet you will see an example of a bundle I sold this morning.

Jan 13Reply

katjo@listefanxo I will be happy to walk you through the process in the morning. I'm east coast so it's quite late here and I'm off to bed. It's never any bother I enjoy helping so feel free to ask me any questions and I'll do my best to help.😃

Jan 13Reply

katjo@listefanxo Ok sweetie I'm glad you got it figured out and again Welcome to Poshmark. Have a wonderful night.😃

Jan 13Reply

katjo@listefanxo You're welcome😉

Jan 13Reply

wildandfree27why do post signs for $1000000 now one is going to buy that

Jan 13Reply

emevansI wish there was some way to search your fav brands or follow based on the designer!! I would find that more useful as a buyer.

Jan 13Reply

katjo@emevans There is a way. Just click on feed then the magnify glass (search) and type in your favorite designer.👍😃

Jan 13Reply

katjo@wildandfree27 We post a high price on signs and items that are not for sale so no one will accidentally hit the buy it button. 😉

Jan 13Reply

styleluxe4lessCongrats on becoming a Suggested User! Do happy for you!😃😃😃😃

Jan 14Reply

styleluxe4lessHaha, Kathy!! SO happy for you. *not Do

Jan 14Reply

katjo@styleluxe4less Thank you so much Robin. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Suggested User group. I literally screamed with joy when they emailed me to inform me about being chosen, it is quite the honor and I'm LOVING it! 😃

Jan 14Reply

styleluxe4lessYay! Well, I was sure I was already following you, because I've looked through your closet before. But, I just started following!

Jan 14Reply

katjo@styleluxe4less Thank you..yea!!😘😃

Jan 14Reply

katjo@fajing09 Hi. No I don't accept PayPal for payment as this cuts Poshmark out of their 20% fee in which I feel they are entitled to being they handle all the transactions, provide shipping label and provide the seller with documented history of all sales. I think PayPal is awesome and I certainly have used my share of it on other sites..lol..but I just choose not to accept it here as a courtesy to Poshmark.😃

Jan 15Reply

pink0505Hey in new here and I see you are being really successful! Any tips? How did you get so many followers? Thanks!!!

Jan 15Reply

katjo@pink0505 Hi and welcome to Poshmark! I'm very lucky to have a great following but I put a great deal of time into my closet by sharing often and attending parties. You want to share your items often as that is how people see your closet and the parties are another great way to get your items viewed. It takes time but it's also very rewarding and loads of fun!👍😃

Jan 15Reply

tannyHello I'm new and confused. :) My closet has 4 items (which didn't show on feed) and the 1 item that did show on feed isn't in my closet. What am I doing wrong? Thanks :)

Jan 15Reply

katjo@tanny They won't show on the feed unless you share each of them individually. 😉

Jan 15Reply

tannyThanks @katjo I found my items but they are all spread out.

Jan 15Reply

katjo@tanny When you share your item it will bring that listing to the top of your closet. They also may not be together in the feed as the feed is live so other people's items go into the same feed.

Jan 15Reply

swtpeaHello again! Can u tell me about the bundling thing?? I get that a buyer can buy more than 1 thing from u at a time, which saves them on shipping right? Unless it goes above the weight limit, but would u also give a discount on the items? I'm just thinking after the 20%goes to poshmark, u get less than what u initially want and hope for. Pls and thank you!

Jan 15Reply

katjo@swtpea Hi. It's is entirely up to you if you want to give a discount on a bundle although not necessary. Many people do discount a bit as an incentive for people to buy more than one item from your closet, but as I said before that is entirely up to you. 😃

Jan 15Reply

Jan 16Reply

katjo@mariazimmet I've had it for over 20 years. I pretty much have it under control. As long as I don't over exert I do ok. I can tell when I need to slow down a bit. I don't let it stop me from doing anything especially travel as I travel quite often. Sorry about late response, my dog is demanding attention and I told her I'm the boss but she strongly disagreed and won my attention! :-/

Jan 16Reply

mariazimmet@katjo aww I'm so glad your respond to it , many people don't understand when to slow down they try to get everything done and then are down for a long time . nichols3002Your closet is amazing. What on earth do you do for a living? I need to switch careers and do what YOU do so I can ship like you! LOL!!!

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nichols3002 lol..Thank you!!! 😃

Jan 18Reply

nanarinnyI absolutely love your closet and how you take the time to display your items. How long have you been doing this and how can I get people to view my closet? Any tips on how to price your items? I don't want to price myself out of the market (but some items I paid full retail on 😞) but would like to be able to sell my stuff. This will justified me buying more. lol

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nanarinny Thank you so much, I appreciate the kind words. I've been here since October. As far as pricing it really is your decision as to how you want to price. I research other comparable items then try to price competitively. Welcome to Poshmark!😃

Jan 18Reply

nanarinnyI don't how you did it - but the coach flip flops that you shared just sold!! Thank you my first sale.👏😃 I'm so excited!!

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nanarinny Woo Hoo..congratulations sweetie on your first sale!!! 👏👏👏👍🎉🎊😃 When I share your item all my 95,000 followers sees it!😉

Jan 18Reply

nanarinnyOk - need help on completing my first transaction. Went to post office and also downloaded app for USPS - but can't find the free boxes Poshmark is referring to. They are all the flat rate/regional boxes. And I don't think I can use the $7 shipping label they sent me on these boxes. How do you usually ship your items?

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nanarinny they are on the USPS site under shipping boxes.

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nanarinny you can't use flat rate boxes. I order all my boxes in all sizes through the website but you can pick up some at the post office tho they may not have all sizes.

Jan 18Reply

nanarinnyFound the boxes online - thanks! The lady at the post office didn't know what I was talking about and had not heard of Poshmark before. Well she will now. She was going to check it out after work today. I told her its a good idea because if a site was using/promoting them then they will know what we are talking about (in case another newbie like me is asking about these boxes). lol

Jan 18Reply

katjo@nanarinny Yea..I'm glad you found the boxes. It's so convenient having them ship to your house, and it's free!!!! Free is good!😉

Jan 18Reply

chic_happensThanks for sharing💐I love your pictures

Jan 19Reply

jessica1219@katjo congrats on becoming a suggested user!! How did you do it? I'm super happy for you and also envious! Lol

Jan 20Reply

katjo@jessica1219 Thank you so much! ❤😘

Jan 20Reply

jessica1219@katjo did they just contact you out of the blue that you were chosen? :)

Jan 20Reply

katjo@jessica1219 Yes, they sent me an email. I spend a great deal of time on Pm and have happily done quite well in sales and they noticed. I also try to help others as best I can to answer questions and share their items. Going above and beyond is my best advice sweetie and most of all just have fun! Happy Poshing!😉

Jan 20Reply

jessica1219@katjo Thanks so much. I'm on here daily, if not hourly!! Haha I have also had some great luck with sales and take a lot of pride in my closet and helping others build theirs to be successful. It's such a great app and the money I've made helped pay for almost all my holiday gifts, I love it!!! Thanks for the advice, will continue doing what I'm doing and hopefully one day I'll be a suggested user too!! Enjoy it! Yay! :)

Jan 20Reply

katjo@jessica1219 You have an awesome closet and I think your well on your way to being a suggested users! 😉

Jan 20Reply

jessica1219@katjo Thanks so much, that's very sweet of you and makes me happy!! :) happy shopping and poshing!!! Xoxo

Jan 20Reply

jessica1219@katjo I was just messing around and saw your name is no longer one of the suggested users. What happened? Didn't you just become one?? :(

Jan 21Reply

katjo@jessica1219 The suggested user list rotates every 2-3 weeks. They just started a new list tonight.😃

Jan 21Reply

jessica1219@katjo ohhhh that makes sense, I didn't know that!! I got scared and thought they took it away from you! Lol good to know, thanks for the info!! :)

Jan 21Reply

katjo@jessica1219 You're welcome..anytime!😉

Jan 21Reply

savanhclosetOoh lala!

Jan 21Reply

serser22@fajing09 it is also against Poshmark policy to use paypal for transactions and if they catch the seller they can shut down their closet. If a seller goes through paypal then they will have just used Poshmark to advertise their item through and not give them their cut.

Jan 21Reply

pink0505Hey thanks so much for the tips!! Very helpful to a newbie! Would you mind sharing my closet?

Jan 21Reply

katjo@pink0505 You're welcome😃

Jan 21Reply

exdivaYou seem to be so helpful! I have a question of my own. Is it important to use the @ symbol when replying to someone? Someone made a comment on a posting I made and I set a reply, but I've noticed now that everyone replies with the @. Does that mean she did not receive my response if I did not @ her?

Jan 21Reply

brandygirlI just started poshing .... What can I do to make my closet better?? Yours is very well put together🌺are there tricks to this ? Thnx

Jan 22Reply

katjo@brandygirl Hi sweetie and welcome to Poshmark! I think you have a nice closet and the best tip I can give you is share your closet a lot and increase your followers by following others, some will follow you back. The more followers you gain the more people see your closet. Also share at the parties as that draws a lot of people and your item is viewed by everyone. 👍😃

Jan 22Reply

serser22@katjo hi, how do you reduce a price on an item? I went to edit and changed the price on one of my items, but how do you do it so people know that the item was reduced? Do you write reduced?

Jan 22Reply

katjo@serser22 Hi. Yes, you write reduced if you want people to know you have reduced it.

Jan 22Reply

brandygirlHow does a trade work

Jan 22Reply

katjo@svinton Hi and welcome to Poshmark! When you reduce an item you have to manually write "reduced" in the item description when you edit it if you want people to know you have reduced it.😃

Jan 23Reply

katjo@svinton You are most welcome..anytime!😃

Jan 23Reply

blackbeauty361Do you have the Louie bag for sale?

Jan 23Reply

katjo@blackbeauty361 No, sorry it's not available.

Jan 23Reply

jwrigh24@katjo hi! Can you follow my closet to help me gain more followers? Love your closet btw!

Jan 24Reply

katjo@jwrigh24 Done and done!👍😃

Jan 24Reply

jwrigh24@katjo Thanks so much!

Jan 24Reply

katjo@jwrigh24 You're welcome sweetie..anytime!😃

Jan 24Reply

tannyHello. Can you tell me how to "repost" or put items in my closet back into the feed and how often should I do that? :)

Jan 26Reply

tanny@jwrigh24 I will also follow you. Happy Shopping/Selling. :)

Jan 26Reply

katjo@tanny Hi. You should share your closet as often as possible. It is when you share to the feed and at parties how people see your listings.👍😃

Jan 26Reply

tannyThat's my question though. How do I get my closet onto the feed? I feel silly not knowing this. It's probably so simple.

Jan 26Reply

katjo@tanny Don't feel silly it's all new to you right now and it's a good question. To put your items onto the feed click on your item then click on "share" that puts it on the news feed.

Jan 26Reply

1forevergoldNicely done!

Jan 26Reply

katjo@1forevergold Thank you so much!!❤

Jan 26Reply

talkenjacI couldn't find the LV in your closet.. Is it for sale? I assumed since it was photographed

Jan 28Reply

katjo@talkenjac Sorry, that's not available.

Jan 28Reply

trinad17It is do nice for newbies to have people to go to for advice. I've been trying to find what I can on the site so not to bother anyone but I have a couple questions and the answers are probably in front of my face but I'm asking anyway. I'm west coast and I know you mentioned you were east coast so it's Kate for you and I understand I might not get an immediate reply 💌. Where do you find the 'suggested users' list so I/we know who is on the current rotation? Aldo I'm currently getting my things together so this weekend I can photograph everything and actually have a closet. A couple questions. Is it easier / smarter to put similar items together? I.e. pants/ tops/ jewelry/shoes/bags and list them that wAy in your closet or just put them in randomly? Also how do I add the 'no PayPal/ trading' to the top of my page? I might find the answers before you get back to me due to the time difference but I appreciate your help either way. Any other tips or advice wound be greatly appreciated!!!! 👍😉

Jan 30Reply

katjo@trinad17 Hi and welcome to a Poshmark! The suggested users list is under account then search people. As far as setting up closet, it's your closet to set up any way you like. Some people group things together, shoes, bags etc, some color coordinate, and some just list randomly. There really isn't a right or wrong way. To add no Paypal just click account then edit profile and you can put no Paypal where email is suppose to go. Some people also make signs to put in their closet such as made to list what you accept or do not accept..etc. I hope that helps and I answered all your questions. 😃

Jan 30Reply

trinad17Thank you do much you answered my question as I had hoped! I'm really excited to get going on this but getting everything together, photographed and listed will be the big hurdle but hope to have it done by the end of the week/end!!!! Thanks again and have a great night !

Jan 30Reply

katjo@trinad17 You are so welcome, anytime!!!! Have fun and happy Poshing!😃

Jan 30Reply

twee@katjo Hi babe! I'm sorry to bother u again 😏but can u please explain to me how bundle works...I have an idea in my head but just want to make sure.

Jan 31Reply

katjo@twee Hi. To bundle you have to take a picture of all the items in the bundle and make a listing of that bundle for the price agreed upon. On the items original listing you have to edit each of them and mark SOLD like you did the RESERVED and add 2 zeros to the price so no one clicks the buy now button. If you look beneath my Everything beyond this point is sold sign in my closet you will see an example of how to bundle as I just did one last night. Take a look at that.

Jan 31Reply

twee@katjo Got it! TY 😘❤

Jan 31Reply

katjo@twee That a girl!! Wtg👍👍😃😉

Jan 31Reply

Feb 01Reply

emiina@katjo hi 😃 if you bundle and its more than 3 ponds do you pay additional shipping if its Javier or what

Feb 01Reply

katjo@emiina Hi. Yes, if it's more than 3lbs you can tell Poshmark and they will charge the buyer an additional $1.99 for up to 7lbs.

Feb 01Reply

emiinaOh thank you so much . How do I tell them.. Sorry I'm taking up your time,

Feb 01Reply

katjo@emiina My item just sold on Poshmark! What do I do now? Congratulations! We make the rest of it simple. When you make a sale on Poshmark, we provide you with a pre-paid, pre-addressed label ready to be put on the box. Once the item has been packaged, you can drop it off at the corner mailbox (if it fits) or at the nearest US Post Office. Remember that the shipping fee has already been paid for you (for packages up to 3 lbs). Labels for packages heavier than 3 lbs will incur an extra fee of $1.99 per pound. If your package is greater than 3 lbs, you will need to generate a new shipping label which you can do directly from the app. Any extra costs will be automatically deducted from your earnings/credits.

Feb 01Reply

katjo@emiina No problem. Contact support@poshmark.com 😃

Feb 01Reply

emiinaThank you sooooo much

Feb 10Reply

cbaragerHello, I'm new to Poshmark and was hoping you could give me some suggestions on my closet? I love your closet and really want to know how you were able to design your pictures so beautifully? I have a lot more to post, but wanted to know how to make it more enticing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can I also ask if you would share my closet with your followers to get it out there more? Thanks so much, you are amazing!

Feb 10Reply

katjo@cbarager Hi and welcome to Poshmark! I use several editing apps, a few of my favorites are InstaFrame and InstaCard, they are both user friendly and a great place to start.👍😃

Feb 13Reply

ricosHi :) I'm new to.. And I I have seen one some things that say $600.00 for a pair a shoes for kids. Is that the true price?

Feb 13Reply

katjo@ricos Hi. Sometimes when a person is holding an item for someone they will add a few zeros to the price so no one buys it. I'm guessing this is the case with the kid shoes you seen for $600.😃

Feb 13Reply

ricosThanks

katjo@lifefornursing Hi! I use several editing apps. InstaFrame is one of my favorites, very user friendly.👍😃

Feb 16Reply

katjo@lifefornursing I use several apps and splice them together. I save frames and lighting edits I like to folders and then edit on my PC.

Feb 16Reply

jaelleHi. I love your closet and your pictures. I'm new to PM so I would love to know how you do that. Thanks so much.

sundrop_flower@katjo hi! Everyone seems to love you! Congrats on becoming a suggested user :) I just want to know if you know how to create those cute little symbols/emoticons. Thank you!

Feb 20Reply

katjo@xoxorainne Hi and thank you! To make the emoticons in the settings on your iPhone click general, keyboard, emoji. That will set the emoji keyboard. Then when you want to use an emoticon click on the world symbol (next to the microphone) and that brings up all the emoticons and symbols.👍😃

Feb 20Reply

katjo@fancy514 Hi. She has to cancel the 2 orders and then you can bundle it.

Feb 25Reply

katjo@fancy514 You're welcome. I would send her a message explaining about being able to bundle to save on shipping and explain how to cancel her order. I've had this happen a few times and both times they were quite grateful to save on shipping.👍😃

Feb 25Reply

katjo@fancy514 When she cancels them they will go back to the original listing. What I did one time when the buyer never got back to me was went ahead and generated both sales and shipped them separately. I enclosed in their package a coupon for free shipping off their next purchase from me on any item over $20.😃

Feb 25Reply

katjo@fancy514 You're welcome my friend, any time! 😘💋😃

Feb 25Reply

katjo@brandynichole13 Hi and welcome to Poshmark! Encouraging Poshmark community members to buy outside of Poshmark either through Paypal or other means is not acceptable. Taking transactions offline is harmful and hurts everyone who plays by the rules. It also prevents us from providing a great experience for everyone. If you are approached to take a transaction offline, please contact us immediately at support@poshmark.com Accepting PayPal hurts everyone. It cuts Poshmark out of the deal. Poshmark is entitle to it's 20%, it's a small price to pay for allowing us to use their platform to sell our items. If more people keep using PayPal Poshmark will have to start charging per listing like eBay does and that be much more costly to list your items. Another reason is Poshmark cannot monitor nor back any purchase understandably if a person buys with PayPal. Your closet could be shut down if found accepting PayPal. Why should Poshmark produce and pay for your shipping labels when getting nothing in return? Essentially you are using their platform for free and this is harmful to all. As far as trading I know many have successfully but you are trading at your own risk. Many people have been scammed by trading. I prefer not to take the chance. I hope you enjoy Poshmark and wish you great success here. Happy Poshing! 😃

katjo@fancy514 Yes I upgraded and I really dislike it!!!! Makes our closets look a mess! I wish I could un-update it!!!! I think showing the comments take away from the cover shots. I'm not happy..lol! Loading is very slow as well. Ugh!

Feb 28Reply

katjo@fancy514 I upgraded my phone as well, it didn't change the layout on the phone (thankfully)!! I won't be using my iPad anymore for Poshing. This will make anyone who must be organized go insane...lol! 😁

Feb 28Reply

katjo@fancy514 lol! I need my organized closet back!!! If they at least his the comments that would help!

Feb 28Reply

katjo@fancy514 I've already sent my opinion to them on Tweeter. I truly hope they fix this and yes please let me know what you find out about if we can get old version back. Thank you😘💋

Feb 28Reply

ellevee@katjo Hi, I have a question. How much is it for a label over 3lbs through Posh? 😊

Mar 01Reply

katjo@ellevee Hi. It's a $1.99😃

Mar 01Reply

elleveeThank you so much!! :)

Mar 01Reply

katjo@ellevee You're welcome😃

Mar 01Reply

katjo@steph90c Sweetie I don't think you need to end your giveaway, I think your zest to sell is admirable, but mass tags are not liked by most people because they clog up their newsfeed, that one was particularly long😱!! Just sharing to the general newsfeed is the best way to get your message out. Happy Poshing!😃

Mar 03Reply

katjo@steph90c Awwh sorry that idea backfired! Many don't realize when they do a mass tag how it really angers more then promotes. Your listing probably would of gotten deleted anyway as spam. It's best to just use the generally newsfeed or only tag a few people at a time so not to fill up their newsfeed. Just chalk it up as a lesson learned and keep your wonderful incentives to the general feed and you will be just fine sweetie. Life is all about lessons😉Have a great day😃

Mar 03Reply

katjo@steph90c Good, I'm glad you feel better, you will be just fine. (((Hugs)))

Mar 04Reply

katjo@rabpriceless Hi. I've never heard that one! Your going to have to contact support on this one because I just don't know. Sorry😏

Mar 04Reply

katjo@shannondn1 Hi. To respond to a person you have to tag them by putting the @ symbol before their name, example @shannondn1 this will put your message in their newsfeed.😃

Mar 04Reply

katjo@shannondn1 You're welcome, anytime.😃

Mar 04Reply

bella2boyzWhat's the easiest and fastest way to bundle items for a buyer???

Mar 06Reply

katjo@bella2boyz Hi. Under accounts then Guide to Poshmark there is an example on how to bundle. There really isn't ant fast way as you have to edit each listing and mark sold on them and increase price do no one clicks the buy button. Then you have to make a new listing with all the buyers items. If you look in the bottom of my closet in the sold section you will see an example.😃

Mar 06Reply

bella2boyzYes that's the way I have been doing it also. Just thought that there might have been an easier and quicker way. Maybe in the near future😉

Mar 06Reply

katjo@bella2boyz I hope so, that be nice.👍😃

Mar 06Reply

bella2boyzI wish I was an application writer, I would write that into the App immediately lol😉

Mar 06Reply

katjo@bella2boyz LOL..and a lot of people would love you for doing it!!!!😜

Mar 06Reply

bella2boyzI'm pretty sure I 🙋would be the most popular Posher if I could💁lol

Mar 06Reply

katjo@bella2boyz No doubt!!!!😜

Mar 06Reply

katjo@jerseygirl81 Hi. People put a high price on listings that are not actually for sale so no one will click the buy now button.😃

Mar 08Reply

serser22@katjo Hiii hope ur well! Going for a mini getaway this weekend can't wait to use my purse! I wanted to ask you since you seem to be involved with poshmark and help out and stuff, they've "reduced" their shipping fees, but I am finding it ridiculous and almost like they are fooling people..so for orders less than $25 they have reduced prices by 51 cents, for orders over $25 they have reduced it only by 1 cent literally! Then there is the catch that they have also reduced the amount of weight they cover, so now instead of 3lbs they only cover 2lbs and buyer or seller has to pay an extra $1.39 to upgrade the shipping label if the item is more than 2lbs. i don't see any benefit or savings in this situation. Chances are most items will be more than 2lbs and ppl will end up paying more than before for shipping costs. They're saving us a PENNY for an item over $25 and charging $1.39 for items over 2 lbs...am I the only one who is upset about this? Thanxxx 😊

Mar 08Reply

katjo@serser22 Hi sweetie! How exciting for you, a weekend getaway..love those! As far as the shipping changes you are absolutely right! With the decrease in weight it ends up costing the seller more to ship because you have to upgrade your shipping label on anything over 2lbs. I don't think you are alone in being upset about this change.

Mar 08Reply

serser22@katjo anything we can do about this? Email them? Protest? Lol

Mar 08Reply

katjo@serser22 You certainly can voice your opinion through email as I'm sure many have although I'm not certain it will change anything. Inflation bites! It's like many years ago gas was .79 a gallon (I'm wayyy to young to remember that..lol) and it just keeps going up just as most things do. Unfortunately it's a part of life and business, as much as we would like some things to stay the same, things just keep going up, so you just have to roll with the changes. I hope you have a great weekend sweetie and show off that beautiful MK bag! 👍❤😘

Mar 08Reply

serser22@katjo you're totally right, I just don't like that they advertised it as exciting news reduced shipping etc.otherwise sure thins get more n more expensive ☺

Mar 09Reply

katjo@serser22 I know, it's really not quite as exciting news to us as it probably is to them..lol😏

Mar 09Reply

cyndiscloset@katjo I'm new to poshmark and I just wanted to say how impressed I am with your kindness and helpfulness with new poshers! It's so rare to find someone that is willing to help a stranger out, you are a very special person! If by chance you have a minute could you share my closet with all your followers?thanks for answering all the questions I had in all the previous post, saved me the time of asking them all!

Mar 09Reply

katjo@cyndiscloset Awwwh thank you so much for the kind words, you made me smile😃I'm always happy to help if I can as I know how hard it is when starting out and I do try very hard to keep up with all the questions and shares although sometimes it's quite the challenge..lol! You are very welcome and I'm glad I've been helpful for you. Happy Poshing!😃

Mar 09Reply

katjo@oksanabuckley Hi and welcome to Poshmark! You have a lovely closet and now the thing to work on is your followers. You only have 63 so that means only 63 people see your closet when you share it to the feed. Share other people's as many will share back to their followers and share to the parties as that is viewed by all not just your followers. It takes time to build up followers but you will and in no time you will be making sales! Most importantly just have fun! Happy Poshing😃

Mar 14Reply

katjo@loverjoy Hi sweetie, I'm checking with Poshmark right now on your shipping label. I'll get right back to you as soon as I get a reply. I do know you don't put both labels on the box. Stand by!😃

Mar 15Reply

katjo@loverjoy Ok sweetie here's what you need to do-You need to select the desired total weight for your label. After tapping on "need heavier weight label" then select the desired weight. If you don't select the desired weight it will print the 2lb label. Hope this helps.😃

Mar 15Reply

katjo@loverjoy No sweetie that won't charge you for all 3. Go ahead and reprint label just be sure to choose the weight. You're welcome, anytime.😃

Mar 15Reply

emiinahi kathy, i swear i am becoming your regular with questions. what kind of envelopes can i use to ship small things (shirt) i don't have little boxes and mailman always complains that im not using right boxes, so i think im gonna switch over to envelopes, so i just wanna make sure which ones to use. i dont want my buyers to be paying additional shipping (if i use the wrong box). thank you

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina Hi sweetie and I'm happy I can help. If you go to the USPS website you can order boxes and envelopes free, delivered right to your door, it's very convenient! There is only one priority mailing envelope, If you click on Get mailing and shipping supplies, then click on Envelopes, the ones we can use say "Priority Mail Tyvek Envelope" they are 11 5/8 x 15 1/8. We cannot use flat rate or any other only the Tyvek. If you would like to order boxes as well click on Priority Mail and choose what size you want in the Priority Mail Boxes, don't get any flat, regional or express boxes. Just mailing boxes. You can also use any brown box or plain mailing envelope but you need the priority mail stickers (the stickers are free also on the website) to stick on your package if you use plain boxes only. I found also at Big Lot they sell CD envelopes that are bubble lined and waterproof, they are a dollar and I find them perfect for small items but if it's fragile I will put it in a video box (available free at post office) then put the box in an envelope. I hope this helps, I know it can be a bit confusing on what type of box we can use!😳

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina Have a great night and Happy Poshing! 👍😃

Mar 15Reply

emiinathank you sooo much, i am going to order the envelopes now.. i think my mail man hates me lol he tells me everyday that im using the wrong boxes lol ..

Mar 15Reply

emiinaThank you , have a great night 💐

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina You're welcome sweetie, anytime. Glad I could help.👍😃

Mar 15Reply

emiinaif i use the priority mail sticker,do i still need to use the shipping label..?

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina Yes, you need the shipping label because that has the persons address and the tracking number and that's also the paid postage. You only need the priority mail stickers if your mailing in plain brown packaging, the sticker just shows that it's priority mail.😉

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina You always need the shipping label no matter what the packaging is.📦📬

Mar 15Reply

emiinaohhh now i know, thank you sooooooo much :) i am going to order me some supplies :)have a great night

Mar 15Reply

katjo@emiina You are sooooo welcome😜!! You have a great night too.😉

noy2312@katjo I need help!!! I sold a purse and its not available because my sister gave it to somebody else! What will do?! How will I tell the buyer who is so excited to buy it?

Mar 16Reply

katjo@noy2312 Oh dear! Honey your going to have to tell her your sister sold it to someone else. I would offer her a discount on another item as a way to make it up to her, but that's your decision.

Mar 16Reply

Mar 27Reply

katjo@talham You're welcome😃

Mar 27Reply

katjoThis is good to know: We only send a notification (i.e. news item) the first time a user shares another users listing. I.e. if the same user shares the same listing again, it will not result in a notification. The 'share' however does happen - i.e. your followers will see the listing in their listing feeds. So if you share someone's listing more than once they will not get a notification that you shared it but it will still share in the general feed.

Mar 29Reply

diamond1955@katjo it finally went through after I posted the message! It started yesterday. My customer told me to check shipping which I had when I dropped the package.

Apr 24Reply

diamond1955@katjo It is aggravating but if it happens again, I guess we will have to play the waiting game?

Apr 24Reply

katjo@diamond1955 So was she able to accept?

Apr 24Reply

diamond1955@katjo Yes. Today finally! It was after I posted my message. I guess it is a glitche in the system.

Apr 24Reply

katjo@diamond1955 There must be a glitch in the program as you are not the first this has happened too today. I will let staff know sweetie and I hope you have no further problems.😃

basicallynewHey Kathy, sorry to burden you but I have a question. Hoping you can help since your more experienced. I bundled an item for someone and they purchased the bundle it is showing sold, and the funds in my pending funds but I never received the notification it was sold on here to mark shipped or an email with the shipping label. Do you happen to know why or what I can do?

May 01Reply

katjo@basicallynew Hi. If I understand correctly you didn't receive a shipping label in your email. All you have to do is click on the sale and then click on need a new shipping label.

May 01Reply

basicallynewAhhh thank you so much and Thank you for your quick response your kindness is greatly appreciated!!

May 01Reply

msha@katjo hello again, I was wondering how everyone posts notes such as this on their closet ?

May 01Reply

katjo@msha Hi. I use a few apps. 2 of my favorite for posting notes is Versagram and Instaframe.👍😃

May 01Reply

msha@katjo thank you !

May 01Reply

katjo@msha You're welcome😃

May 01Reply

msha@katjo I have another question , sorry . I know you don't do PayPal on here but I see that many buyer request it . Is it because the sellers pay for shipping on PayPal ?

May 02Reply

msha@katjo ^ do sellers pay shipping on PayPal is my question I guess

May 02Reply

katjo@msha Hi. I'm not familiar with how Ppal works so I can't answer that sweetie, sorry.

May 02Reply

msha@katjo ok thanks !

May 02Reply

msha@katjo question . I made a sale and the buyer notified me that she wants to return it because she feels its too short ( it was a dress) How do returns work ? Who is responsible for paying shipping and will I be refunded and posh fees ?

May 03Reply

msha@katjo also , I forgot to mention the buyer has already released the funds .

May 03Reply

katjo@msha Hi. She can't return it as all sales are final. Unless the item was not as described only then she could file a complaint, but not fitting or to short is not a legitimate complaint for a return unless it was not the size listed. It is the buyers responsibility to ask all sizing question if not in the description to insure fit. What most people do when buying something that doesn't fit is just re-list it and sell it.

May 03Reply

katjo@msha All she can do is re-list it and try to sell it.

May 03Reply

msha@katjo ok thank you ! Sorry to ask so many questions ..

May 03Reply

katjo@msha No problem sweetie, anytime.😃

svalentineBeing a Posh veteran I'm sure you've dealt with crazies. I just had this random person comment on my top saying "ugly" I was like while it may not be my style, your comment is random and uncalled for but I respect people's opinions and everyone has their own style I just don't see the need to make negative remarks on people's listings. -__- what is wrong with people? Honestly its kind of funny...I've seen these types of arguments on Posh before and just love how bored peoples lives must be! Tehehe😆😏

May 22Reply

katjo@svalentine Yes, I've had my share for sure. I hope you blocked her. I'm sorry that happened to you.😡

May 22Reply

svalentineUgh! I just don't get it! You're such a kind and friendly person! I know some people get mad if they don't get their way like a huge discount or something but to be so random and hateful is uncalled for but I'm brushing it off. This is basically a business and you're going to get haters and unhappy people. I just hope this woman isn't being disrespectful to a lot of other users. I didn't block her yet as I was waiting to see if she'd have some type of comeback but she's been quiet so I will handle it later, I know I can report her for harassment too. 😈👿I'm not letting it get to me because I've had a lot of happy customers and have met such awesome, genuine people on here like yourself! ☺💗

May 22Reply

katjo@svalentine You never know who it may be. Could be a child and not an adult, it's obviously someone with a very low maturity level and I generally don't respond as that is what they want. A hater thrives on the confrontation, don't give them that satisfaction. You are a sweet and honest posher and have a fabulous closet, don't let one act of immaturity get to you love, if you do then they win. (((Hugs)))😘💋

May 22Reply

svalentineYeah, at first I thought it was spam or maybe someone hacked into their account and thought it'd be funny to be rude but I was polite and just said that everyone has their own opinions and style and I respect that and so should she. I'm definitely not letting it get to me I just hope this person isn't rude to a lot of people for no reason. I don't like people that start drama over nothing! 😜There's always gonna be rude and crazy people but luckily the majority of people on here are awesome!

May 22Reply

katjo@svalentine So true, the vast majority are wonderful ladies like you miss graduate😜 Keep smiling doll and stay sweet!😊

May 22Reply

serser22@katjo hi how are you? I wanted to ask if you know of a user cdjacquot...a week or two ago she "purchased" a listing without any comments and the listing had a collage of different color bags, so I asked which she wanted she never responded and didn't respond to any of my comments, so I cancelled her order and let her know I did and again she didn't respond. Because the listing had been stamped as sold I had to redo the listing all over again, this morning she "purchased" that listing too!! I commented and she didn't respond I don't know what her deal is...should I report her? She doesn't have any listings of her own and now I have to redo the listing all over again, again!!

May 30Reply

katjo@serser22 Hi sweetie. I don't recognize the username. Since you have twice tried to contact her with no response I would just block her since she's had ample time to respond both times.

May 30Reply

serser22@katjo thank you, finally got a hold of her! Turns out she didn't know how to comment back and her posh notifications were off...she couldn't figure out how to respond lol

May 30Reply

katjo@serser22 Awwwh the poor girl! I'm glad you didn't report her!!!! Glad it all worked out sweetie.👍😃

queenmummHey, GF! 😘😘😘Hope all is well with you! I forgot to ask earlier this week, how is your dad doing?

Jun 05Reply

katjo@queenmumm Hi doll!! Dad is improving daily thank God🙏 Thank you for asking. I'm hanging in there, I'm tired though. I need to learn how to put my phone down and go to bed before 3am😳!!! *addict*

Jun 05Reply

queenmummHappy to hear he's improving. My mother was taken to the ER two nights ago with high BP and chest pain. She was held one night and released after all tests came back normal. She's ok and her bp is lower today. I immediately thought of your family - just never can anticipate this type of thing and it's all frightening while it's happening. I'm so glad our loved ones are doing better!😊. And wow, 3am??!!?? Geez, you posh addicts are crazy. I would NEVER stay up THAT late! 2:59 am is my FIRM bedtime - always.😜😜😜

Jun 05Reply

katjo@queenmumm OMG I'm sure that scared you to near death! I'm happy to hear she's ok. I'm going to try what you do tonight and turn off my phone and go to bed early at 2:59am, 3am is just way to late! Curbing the addiction one minute at a time...lol!!😜

lauralu217Hi I was just wondering I'm new to this and haven't bought anything yet bc I'm alil nervous not tryn to rude or disrespectful at all but I'm just wondering how it all works can I trust that if I buy something etc i will get what I bought and all that so I thought I'd ask u ha! Hope I didn't affend you by asking

Jun 12Reply

lauralu217By the way I love ur closet to!

Jun 12Reply

katjo@lauralu217 Hi sweetie and first of all Welcome to Poshmark!!! I'm happy to answer your question. When you purchase an item on Poshmark they keep your payment safe until you receive and accept the package, only then are the funds released to the seller. Poshmark stands behind every purchase made on Poshmark so you can buy with confidence. I have many many times!😜

Jun 12Reply

lauralu217Wow thanks so much! That makes me feel better to! Ha so I guess I need to start buying stuff then ha! So I know u throw alot if these parties etc so that's why I asked u I just wa a nervous at first that I might not get what I had purchased lol.. No offense to anybody just wanted to make sure etc!

Jun 12Reply

katjo@lauralu217 I completely understand your trepidation. I was nervous too my first purchase but I quickly got over that..lol! Just don't buy anything offline as in with PPal because Poshmark only backs purchases made through this app. Have fun and Happy Poshing!👍😃

Jun 12Reply

katjo@chasingadream Hi. My best advice sweetie is to just share share share and get your items out there in the general feed. Also work on increasing your followers by following others and some will follow you back. Every follower is a potential buyer so increasing your followers also increases your chance for a sale.👍😃

Jun 12Reply

katjo@chasingadream You're welcome sweetie and I have shared most of your closet to my followers, I hope it helps you generate a sale. You have a nice closet, you just need more people to see it and working on increasing your followers will do that. Happy Poshing!😉

Jun 12Reply

lauralu217Thank u soooo much Got one more ? Ha if I see a purse I like like a Chanel or Louis and the person says its inspired? Does that mean its real or a fake? I'm learning ha?

Jun 12Reply

katz9jtI'm still confused! I have a ton of photo apps too but how do I integrate them into into a Poshmark app?!

Jun 15Reply

katjo@katz9jt You have to edit your picture in your photo app then save it to your camera roll. Then you can upload it to Poshmark.😃

Jun 15Reply

katz9jtOhh...I kind of wondered since it went into that folder on the bottom right side. Thank you for putting that together for me so it makes sense👍😉❗

Jun 26Reply

lovetallieHi! I just want to ask, how can an item be included on the "Hot Pick" categories ? :) Thanks much!

Jun 27Reply

katjo@lovetallie Hi😃During the 2 hour evening party hosts pick the items that they want to put into the showroom, many select from the party newsfeed so be sure to share share share your listings to the parties. Host Picks are very selective as they are chosen amongst literally over 150,000 to over 200,000 shared listings per party. You have a nice closet with great covershots so just keep sharing and hopefully you too will have a host pick. I recently hosted a "Never had a host pick" party and only picked items from prople who never had a host pick, I hope to do another one again soon so keep your eye out for that!👍😃

Jun 27Reply

lovetallieThank you so much for all the infos. I will definitely keep an eye and keep on sharing :))

Jun 27Reply

katjo@lovetallie You're very welcome and Happy Poshing!😃

Jun 28Reply

katjo@karrie728 Hi. You can ask me your questions on the listing comment section that your interested in. 👍😃

Jun 28Reply

karrie728How do I lower a price on an item in my closet?

Jun 28Reply

katjo@karrie728 You click on the listing, then on "edit" in the top right corner. Then you can change the price to whatever you want then click on share.👍

Jun 28Reply

Jun 29Reply

quanhahaI am pretty new here and can use all the help I can get. I just read all the comments here and learned quite a bit. Thanks so much for helping the newbies. Does my items get shown when I join the parties? I read about the shipping charges and was wondering what happens if the item is more than 2lbs and there's not enough postage on the package. Will the package be returned to the sender? Thanks so much for helping. I need help since I have yet to sell anything so far.

Jun 29Reply

katjo@quanhaha Hi and welcome to Poshmark😃!! Yes, your items do show to everybody when you share to the parties. If the package doesn't have enough postage it will return to the sender. It's a good idea to weigh your packages before shipping to ensure you have the right weight label. Happy Poshing😃

Jun 29Reply

queenmummHow's your daddy, hon?❤

Jul 03Reply

katjo@queenmumm Hi😃he's doing ok. He's depressed. He just went through that huge surgery and now they have to go back in again. I feel so bad for him but he's a real trooper! Gods will he will be just fine. Thank you for asking.❤😘💋

Jul 03Reply

queenmummMy daddy went through numerous surgeries for knee replacement and a subsequent "super bug" infection. 😢He spent one whole year on picc line antibiotics. Suffered a fair amount of depression through that - my mom, too. I know where you are coming from, sweetie!🙏

Jul 03Reply

katjo@queenmumm I hate that hospital! I had to go there everyday for a few years between surgeries and to take my Mom for chemo. It haunts me when I'm there because I see her everywhere, she died of lung cancer. I've spent a lot of time going to that hospital. But you do what you have to do. It's hard when you become the parent to your parent. How horrible that dad had a picc like for a year!!!! That was one nasty infection!

Jul 03Reply

queenmummOoo, I know. Hate hospitals! I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Cancer is just devastating to families. I know that makes it extra difficult to have your dad struggling now. Stay strong and be the beacon for him. It's a lot to ask from you, but I know you can rise to the task and battle the biggest obstacles. You (and @ccargo) are class acts!! Prayers, dolls!😘😘😘

Jul 03Reply

ccargo@queenmumm and @katjo Life has a way of throwing obstacles at us, doesn't it? Thank The Lord for loving family and friends who bring comfort during the tough times. We'd walk through fire to take the burden away from our precious loved ones. Thank you, Kathy, for being the go-to person ... It's not easy. Thank you, @queenmumm for asking about and sending prayers for our dad. 😘❤

caitmicheleHi all! Sorry to be a stereotypical "new Posher" but does anybody have any tips on how to get more people to see my listings? Thanks!

Jul 23Reply

katjo@caitmichele Hi and Welcome to Poshmark! The best way to get more people to see your listings is to share them often and share other people's listings, most will share back yours to their followers. Share to the parties is also a great way to get your listings viewed because everyone can see those, not just your followers. Work on increasing your followers by following people and share share share! Happy Poshing!😃

foreverrelovedLove your closet 😃do you have any tips on make a good sale? Other than the ones that are under the FAQs

Sep 07Reply

katjo@mzasher Thank you! My best tip is work on increasing your followers, the more followers you have the more people see your listings when you share to the newsfeed. Share share share a lot! No one sees your closet unless it's being shared so share often, share to parties and share for others as most will share back.😃

Sep 07Reply

foreverrelovedOkay awesome! Great tip 👍😃💕

Sep 07Reply

katjo@casualglam Hi. That would fall under "Home Goods" which is not condoned sweetie.

Sep 08Reply

katjo@casualglam Home goods is one of them on the list of items not condoned.

Sep 08Reply

katjo@casualglam What items can I sell on Poshmark? Poshmark is a marketplace for women’s fashion and accessories. Please refrain from listing items that do not fall into this category. Pre-owned items can be listed on Poshmark if they are clean and in good condition. Sep 23Reply

svalentineI went to the Boston Posh party tonight and got to meet a few fellow poshers as well as some of the Posh team like Lyann & Maria. They were SO welcoming & friendly! I told them while I know some fellow Boston poshers, the majority of my favorite ladies live elsewhere like @katjo & @gordomom 😊they knew you both and said it was great I met such awesome ladies like you two! Wish I could go to the one in Vegas but they said it'll most likely become an annual event and every few months they will probably have the city parties so there's always more to come! 👍😀

Sep 28Reply

katjo@svalentine Yea!! I'm thrilled you were able to go to a live party and meet some of the staff. You are so sweet and thank you for including me in your favorite poshers list, that made me smile😃!!! I wish I could meet you in Vegas, I would love meeting you but hopefully you can catch the next PoshFest or perhaps we will meet at another city party👍😃.

Sep 28Reply

gordomom@svalentine Hi Sara - thank you so much for your kind words!! I'm so excited that you attended the party in Boston but bummed that I won't get to meet you in LV. You are always so generous in sharing (even when I am feeling behind in my sharing which is most of the time) 😊💐 I agree and second that @katjo is one of the best Poshers! Amazing closet & so supportive of the community!! 💝

Sep 28Reply

katjo@gordomom Awwwwh!!!! Well now you both have made me smile😊💗💗💗!!!💋💋💋

Sep 28Reply

Sep 28Reply

svalentine@gordomom You're welcome, I truly had a blast and I know that Vegas will be that x1000 lol! I can only imagine! I definitely plan on going to the next PoshFest though 😊Aww no problem, you and @katjo have two of the best closets I've seen on Posh and are just amazing ladies! I truly appreciate your kindness and generosity with sharing! So happy to be part of such a wonderful community! Enjoy Vegas 😘💕

katjo@rebeca3 You're welcome😃

Sep 29Reply

kobesmommy@katjo can you share some suggestions for getting sales, should I lower my price after a specific time period, or just continuously share, what's the catch here help please ?

Oct 02Reply

katjo@kobesmommy Hi! I think your prices are fine. What you need to work on is increasing your followers. Right now only 133 people see your listings when you share them (except when sharing to parties, those everyone can see your shares) I suggest following people as many will follow you back. Also share people's closets and many will share back which shows your shared listing to all their followers. This open the field up to many more people seeing your closet. It takes time to build up a following but sharing and building followers is key in increasing sales. Happy Poshing!😊

Oct 02Reply

kanyejoyner@katjo hi there 😊 thanks for all the support lately. Is there any certain thing I can do to be a co host. This is something that I'm very interested in & wondered if there's something special I can do. Thanks sweet lady.

Oct 03Reply

katjo@kanyejoyner Hi😃 Staff pick hosts based on several criteria's the biggest being that the host is following all the rules. Most hosts are suggested users. There are literally thousands of members that want to host so being chosen is a huge honor. Right now they are not booking any hosts past Oct 31 as a new team will be taking over the job of scheduling party hosts.

Oct 03Reply

kanyejoyner@katjo thanks sweetie for the info. I think Im following all the rules but you see certain ones get away with things that others don't but the dark always comes to the light. How long does it take to become a suggested user. I've been on here for ab 8 months but in the beginning I was new & made the mistake of doing things that weren't allowed but since posh warned me a couple months back I stopped everything & was hoping that they maybe would give me a pat on the back for changing over to following all rules but when God decides it my turn then it will be. Again thanks so much. You're a sweetheart :)

Oct 03Reply

katjo@kanyejoyner You're welcome. I don't think it's that they are getting away with it, I thinks it's just a matter of time before it will catch up to them. Many members and hosts will not share or even follow someone not following the rules so they really are hurting themselves. There really isn't a set time for how long it takes to become a SU, I know of people who have been here over a year and still not an SU. There are thousands and thousands of members though so it's a big job for them in selecting. I do think they take into consideration people who have had items not allowed but have cleaned up their closet such as you have. I think you have a nice closet and are well on your way and in the right direction! Happy Poshing😉

Oct 03Reply

kanyejoyner@katjo thanks that means a million coming from you :)

Oct 03Reply

katjo@kanyejoyner You're welcome sweetie.💗

Oct 03Reply

kanyejoyner@katjo hey last question & I will not bother you anymore but what does it mean when pm editer shares your listing?

Oct 03Reply

katjo@kanyejoyner Sometimes pm-editor will randomly share listings they see in the newsfeed. Just like any other member who shares your listings it's an act of kindness.👍😃

Oct 03Reply

kanyejoyner@katjo well that's cool. I'm sure that means a lot of poshers see it. So kind you're right. Thanks for all the help today. You have a wonderful & blessed weekend to come.

Oct 03Reply

katjo@kanyejoyner You're welcome sweetie and thank you! You have a blessed week as well.💗

Nov 02Reply

123eloiseCongratulations :) 🎉🎉🎉 Please don't forget us little people lol 😜

Nov 02Reply

joannamichele81Wait wait wait, you didn't become a SU until, this past July??? That's cray cray! 😉

Nov 04Reply

katjo@joannamichele81 No, I was first a suggested user on January 4th of this year and several times on the list each month following. That was before they changed it to this new system. That email is when they started the new system using the algorithm and they sent email to all the people they added to the new system. I'm a SU from wayyyy back!😊

Nov 04Reply

joannamichele81👍👍 that's what I thought, I didn't realize the emails were part of the new system! 😉😉

Nov 04Reply

katjo@joannamichele81 The first time I became a suggested used back in Jan, they hadn't added the feature to separate comments from shares and likes, every morning I would wake up with 1000 in my newsfeed😱that's as high as it goes, I would have to scroll through all 1000 to find comments, it was a nightmare! It was my suggesting to modify the app to separate comments from shares and likes and was thrilled when it came to fruition! It was a lot harder in those days!!

Nov 04Reply

joannamichele81Well thank you for your service!! Ha ha!! That's a great idea so glad they took your advice! I wish you could private message or instant message users, or like comments by others to show your agreement!

Nov 04Reply

katjo@joannamichele81 Yes. In the past Kate (employee) use to personally send an email informing you that you were going on the list. I still have that email!😃 The new system auto sends an email now when they add someone.

Nov 04Reply

katjo@joannamichele81 lol!! Well you're welcome! I think we will be seeing other features added in the future and one I've been pushing for is the ability to delete comments. I think that would stop a lot of the drama!😬

Nov 04Reply

joannamichele81That would be awesome, would be able to clean up a lot of the trade comments and what not! ❤️😊👍

Nov 04Reply

katjo@joannamichele81 Exactly!!!😉

Nov 04Reply

katjo@mayra9moreno Thank you💗😊

Nov 06Reply

nessasaurus@katjo I have a question .. If I edit my listing and re share it to the party, does this remove it from the host pick list? Move it up? Or do nothing at all? Also how do I know which host chose my item so I can thank them?? Sorry for all the questions , and thank you as always 💛💛💛

Nov 08Reply

katjo@nessasaurus Hi sweetie. You can edit it and share it, it won't effect or move it from the Host Pick showroom. To find out who picked your item go to the Host Pick showroom, look for your item and it will say who shared it. I looked for you and @ericabush Host Picked it.👍😃

Nov 08Reply

katjo@ellocx Hi😃 I looked at your closet and you have a lot of items that are not allowed to sell on Poshmark. People will stray from your closet because of these items. I will tag you from a listing I put up that explains what is not allowed to sell on Poshmark. Following the rules/guidelines will help immensely and put you on the right track to becoming a upstanding member of the community.👍😃

Nov 09Reply

maidmarianIs there a way POSH could allow trades perhaps with a slight charge so PM doesn't take the hit? There are so many items for sale and more being added with less being sold, it seems. (to me at least). It would be nice if there were a way to have a clothing SWAP and still keep PM profitable! Just a thought.....

Nov 11Reply

katjo@maidmarian Hi😃 Trading is allowed on Poshmark but it is not advised nor is it backed by Poshmark. For example if a person receives an empty box or the item isn't as described, or the package is lost in the mail Poshmark will not back it because it was a trade. Trading is done at the traders risk. There are far more sales then trades on Poshmark as most people do not want to take the chance of getting scammed. This is why they don't promote trading.

Nov 11Reply

maidmarianI totally understand and that's why I don't, once I became familiar with PM. It's tempting but risky and I'll stay out of it! Thanks for your quick response Kate! (PS I read all the negative comments about party notifications and cannot believe the language). You guys are doing an amazing job, if I had a husband I'd be a PM widow!

Nov 11Reply

katjo@maidmarian I'm glad you're enjoying Poshmark, it's a wonderful community and definitely addicting!😬😉 Happy Poshing!💗

Nov 11Reply

katjo@jojo1938 Hi and welcome to Poshmark! To answer questions you really do not need to be technically savvy, the app makes everything so simple to use. When you upload your pictures there are category's to choose from as well as a place to write your descriptions, size, brand and price, you just fill in the blanks. When your item sells, a red SOLD banner will automatically appear on the sold listing. If you need a heavier label you simply go to your account, then my sales, then on the purchase that needs the heavier label. Click on need heavier label and choose what weight you need. Once that is done you will immediately be emailed the new heavier weight label. When the package is accepted/delivered you will get an email notification that your item was delivered and your funds have been released to you. You also get a tracking number when the item is purchased so you can track the delivery. Every sale has a tracking number. To put more then one picture in one friend you need to download a photo editing app where you can put several pictures in a frame. One of my favorites is InstaFrame, it's very user friendly and a great place to start. It really is all very simple and once you get started you will be amazed at just how easy it is. I'm here most often and always happy to help. Happy Poshing!😃

Nov 13Reply

katjo@jojo1938 You're welcome. I think you meant Instaframe..go to the App Store and type in the search "Instaframe" it's a free app.👍

Nov 13Reply

katjo@jojo1938 You can't connect it to Poshmark. What you do is frame your photos in Instaframe then save it to your camera roll. Then you can upload the picture from your camera roll to Poshmark.

Nov 13Reply

queenmummKeeping track and counting down with ya! ;)

Nov 14Reply

katjo@queenmumm It's been a painstakingly slow process..lol😜

Nov 14Reply

queenmummGotta get a boost! Bring on the droids! Let's increase our minions. 😉

Nov 14Reply

katjo@queenmumm Amen sister!!!😜

Nov 14Reply

katjo@jojo1938 Hi😃 to respond to a person on your listing you have to tag their user name. For example if you want to respond to a comment I left on your listing you would put the @ sign followed by my username @katjo. This directs the comment right to their newsfeed. To add additional pictures (you can add a total of 4) click edit and tap on the space where it says "add photo".

Nov 15Reply

purpleloverHow do you become a host

Dec 14Reply

katjo@purplelover Hi😃Hosts are chosen by Poshmark employees. There are several criteria's a few are: very active member, great closet and covershots and most importantly follows all the rules.👍

Dec 14Reply

purpleloverThanks :)

Dec 14Reply

katjo@purplelover You're welcome😃

Dec 21Reply

calibae123@katjo hi love! I've been on postmark for over a year now and I have quite of bit of items. I've made some sales but definitely not as many as I'd like. I've had my closet shared and did my good karma and shared back. I've done good in the book. How can I boost some sales? I desperately need the money..

Dec 24Reply

katjo@calibae123 Hi😃To increase sales I would recommend working on increasing your followers. You can that by networking outside the app on other social networks such as FB, twitter and Instagram. You can share your closet directly to those apps thus given your closet more avenues to be viewed. I also suggest getting rid of the listings in your closet that are not allowed, many members will not follow, share and choose as a host pick from closets not following the guidelines. There is a listing I have made in my closet that lists what is and isn't allowed. Lastly of course is share share share and join the parties! Hope this helps...Happy Poshing😃

Dec 24Reply

calibae123@katjo what if I have already sold unalloyed items?

Dec 24Reply

katjo@calibae123 I think Poshmark takes into consideration how long it has been since an item that wasn't allowed was sold and that no other items listed for sale in your closet are items not allowed.

Dec 24Reply

katjo@lovetoshopxo Thank you!!😘

Dec 30Reply

2texasmomHi! You are a wealth of Poshmark info! Got a question for you if you don't mind one more.... How do Posher's get selected to Host a party? If you answered this in a previous post I'm sorry to ask again! 😉. I'm just curious thanks so much.. Good luck with all the cold weather y'all have going on up in the east coast !❄⛄

Jan 03Reply

katjo@2texasmom Hi😃 Party Hosts are selected by Poshmark employees. There are several criteria's they look for when choosing. A few are: following all rules/guidelines, have a great closet with fabulous cover shots, are actively involved with the Poshmark community. If you feel you are host qualified then don't be shy, send an email to hello@poshmark.com and let them know you are interested in hosting and why you feel you would make a great host. Good luck and Happy Poshing!!👍😃

Jan 03Reply

2texasmomKathy thanks ! Hosting would be something to do down the road , that is for sure! My closet is tiny in comparison to others lol! Thanks again for taking time out & answer another question!🌹🌺

Jan 03Reply

katjo@2texasmom You're very welcome, anytime.😊

Jan 04Reply

triciamelise@katjo question...would you hold an item for a buyer for a week when you have other who want to buy now?!

Jan 04Reply

katjo@triciamelise Hi! I have made it a practice to not hold any items because I found to many times they don't purchase thus the opportunity to sell it while if was being held is lost. While many poshers will hold an item, in my experience holding an item isn't always the best thing to do.

Jan 04Reply

triciamelise@katjo thank you much😃

321wasHello, what is a suggested user?

Jan 12Reply

katjo@321was Hi😃A suggested user is a member who has been selected by Poshmark as a exemplary posher. The member is chosen based on several criteria's such as: follows all the rules and guidelines, is actively involved with the community, helps other, has a fabulous closet with great cover shots, and has proven to provide great customer service to those who have purchased from them.⭐️🏆👍😃

christinadepasqHi! Quick question...if I want to tag a party host in one of my listings that fit the party theme, how quick do I have to do so? I don't get a notification until the day before for the party, so I was wondering when they have to choose their host picks by? Thanks!

Feb 22Reply

katjo@christinadepasq Hi😃It really depends on the Host, some hosts preselect weeks before their party and some pick right up to the day of their party. If you follow Poshmark on Facebook they post every Monday a list of all the parties and hosts for the upcoming week.😉

Feb 22Reply

christinadepasqThanks for the tip!

Feb 22Reply

holberba05I am confused as to why you unfollow and follow me 2 times a day? 😄

Feb 22Reply

katjo@holberba05 Hi😃I follow and unfollow people randomly every day. This brings them to the top of my list and refreshes my followings so it's not always the same people on my first list. It's purely random.😉

Feb 22Reply

holberba05But what is the point of doing that?

Feb 22Reply

katjo@holberba05 The point is it refreshes my followings. When you have a large number of followings (96,000) active members tend to fall to the bottom when new are added, when I unfollow and then follow it brings them back to the top. I also do this because it rotates my list as I often will use my following list as well as my followers list to randomly share.

Feb 22Reply

linsleppoIs it bad to share more than 100 listings to a party?

Mar 24Reply

katjo@linsleppo Hi😃 Yes. All hosts receive an email stating the rules for hosting. One of the rules is only share 50-100 listings max. This is to keep the showroom special and not have an over abundance of host picks nor overshadow your co-hosts picks by going over the allotment.

Mar 24Reply

linsleppoOk thanks!!! 🙆🙆🙆

Mar 24Reply

katjo@linsleppo You're welcome.😊

maisoncindy@katjo hi there! I am relatively new to Poshmark (joined about a month ago) and I was wondering if you have any tips or advice for a newbie like me. I love your closet and I can tell you're a posh super star. I would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks in advance!! ❤️😘💋

Jul 30Reply

katjo@maisoncindy Hi Cindy, first of all welcome to Poshmark! I took a look at your closet and I think you're off to a fabulous start👍if you look towards the bottom of my closet I have several "Tip" listings I created for new members, if you get some free time reading through those and the comments you will find there are loads of helpful tips and advise I think you will find quite useful. Enjoy and Happy Poshing!💗😃

Jul 30Reply

ckayej@katjo Hi Kathy can I ask you a question since you are a veteran here? I have been on here for over a year and a half, follow the rules and buy and sell (top 10% seller). I have asked a few times to become a suggested user only to get the standard response of "we will look at your closet". I see other users with items they shouldn't have who use other payment forms etc and I wonder how long it takes to become a SU? I've also asked about hosting a party and have gotten the same response. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining I just want to see what your thoughts are. Thanks.

Aug 01Reply

katjo@ckayej Hi Courtney, there really is no definitive answer to your question as there is no set time as to how long it takes to be an SU. When you see SU's that are not following rules, report them. With so many members it's like finding a needle in a haystack for Poshmark, so by reporting it helps them to find the rule breakers. My advice to you is to just keep on requesting to become an SU and let them know why you feel you qualify to be one. I know it's disheartening when you see others who are not following rules on the SU list when you are waiting to be one and you follow all the rules, but don't give up because it will happen, you just have to keep a positive and let them know this is a goal you are looking forward to obtain.💗

Aug 01Reply

ckayej@katjo thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I love it here and thank you for your help

Aug 01Reply

katjo@ckayej You're welcome Courtney💗You're a great Posher and I'm rooting for you, you deserve it.👍((hugs))
