This amazing dress likely dates from sometime in the late 80’s, based off the history of label changes for designer Tadashi Shoji (whose line of evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and other party wear was carried upscale retailers Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue). Gorgeous off the shoulder neckline creates an absolutely stunning look. Sparkly snaps at the cuffs give a touch of glam, while the floor length of this dress makes it ideal for black tie galas or formal weddings.

retro_fairy Last two photos: the first shows a small smudge (barely visible if not looking, and I’m pretty sure a cleaner can remove easily); the second is my very mediocre selfie game trying to capture the amazing neckline of this dress (calling it a fail, but it’s the best I can accomplish without hubby helping photograph 😬😩😂)

retro_fairy @fabz07 pulled it out to measure: armpit to armpit flat across is 16 1/4 inches, waist flat across is 13 inches, shoulder to hem is about 55 inches!
