The '89 indicates the year 1989. Item Condition Summary This set of four napkin rings is in Good Vintage Condition. The crackled glaze (crazing) is intentional and consistent with the style. All rings have visible chips, minor glaze flake/flea bites to the glaze and ceramic on the inner and outer rims (see close-up photos). The hand-painted blue decoration is largely intact on all pieces, 2 of the pieces are slightly faded. Pricing reflects the minor-moderate condition issues of the rings.
