this part still works. It just needs a USB box to go with it. Unfortunately the part you plug into the Chromebook ( so tempted to say PC lol) started bending and it's started to bend which is annoying. I don't know why the box can't come apart like this cord. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS CORD. ALL YOU NEED IS A BOX AND PLUG TO GO INTO CHROMEBOOK PRICE IS FIRM
