RARE VINTAGE FIND Description This charming and rare set of 4 electric Sunbeam toaster buffet square glass plates/dishes are from the 1930's depression glass era. These depression glasss buffet plates have an floral etched center design of soft white intaglio crystal. The 1930's T2 "Buffet Service Set" included a large walnut wood hospitality tray with space for the electric automatic toaster, a cutting block, several relish or condiment dishes and these sweet plates which held your toast! The Saturday Evenjng Post advertisement stated: genuine Intaglio crystal, designed exclusively for Sunbeam. These fancy little plates could be used for desserts, as luncheon plates or salad plates. They would be perfect for luncheon plates, salad or dessert plates.
