Sigma was an importing company that started in the 1960’s as part of Rockville International and often referred to itself as ‘The Tastesetter’. Most of their products were imported from Japan and had a whimsical or unusual design. They were then incorporated into the Towle International Company who stopped using the Sigma brand name in 1989.
This set of 4 salad plates is in the hard-to-find pattern 467 ‘Blue Rabbits’. The quality is excellent and the Japanese influence of the blue & white design is evident. Each plate measures 8 inches wide by 1 inch tall and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
