The beautiful jewelry you see here is part of my mom's huge collection of unique purchases. She loved buying and collecting pieces for many years, until Alzheimer's disease severely impacted her in 2020. I'm selling her collection to ensure she can continue to get care in a wonderful memory facility.   Jewelry crafted in this New York-based business workshop is identified by the mark Ben-Amun in block lettering. Some marks are found on dangling metal tags. However, others have the name stamped into the metal in several iterations. Ben-Amun jewelry dating to the 1980s runs the gamut in terms of style. From ancient coin jewelry to chunky chains and tailored “dress for success” type pieces, this brand made various designs to appeal to the fashionable woman of the day. Some of Ben-Amun’s most popular pieces with costume jewelry collectors now include wide cuff bracelets and statement-making earrings. Bold necklaces also garner attention, including designs with large dangling leaves, enameled elements, and twists of beads in torsade styles. This brand is also known for producing Art Deco replica styles that look very much like originals made during the 1920s and '30s. These pieces have white metal (silver in color) settings with clear rhinestones. Some also incorporate other jewel-hued glass stones like emerald green, ruby red, or sapphire blue.
