3/4 Antique Brass Church Collection Plate Patina Religious Tithe Tray

It was in a sleepy Appalachian town where I found myself in the company of a retired minister and his ever-loyal bloodhound, Amos. Over hot coffee and stories too tangled to be fully true, he led me to a dusty attic where remnants of his former church life rested quietly in stacked crates. There, beneath a hymnal and a cracked wooden cross, lay this brass collection plate, dulled by time, sanctified by touch. Its surface, worn and warm, tells a story of open palms and folded prayers. The weight of generations' giving… nickels and tears, folded bills and whispered hope… has left a holy patina no craftsman could ever reproduce. It bears no markings of maker or manufacture, but the spirit embedded within it is unmistakably sacred.
