3.10 Carat Tanzanite Cabochon

Excited to share more Tanzanite Cabochons I got in!! Gorgeous and unique Tanzanite cabochon, with really beautiful color changing pleochroism, which I tried to show with lots of pictures in different lighting. It looks indigo or rich purple, and can look richer and darker or lighter and more brilliant and refractive depending on the lighting. It is a completely natural, untreated, and nice sized oval shaped cabochon cut, measuring 10.0 x 8.0 x 4.0mm, with visible inclusions. In this case, it was selected for its unique inclusions, which in sunlight look like a really cool little galaxy inside the stone.
