3.1 Phillip Lim navy & cream shift dress (size 10 US) NWT

The first thing that drew me to this dress was the 1950s Balenciaga vibe. I grew up on Audrey Hepburn movies and I think this dress could have easily been worn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s. It’s a dark navy (so dark I thought it was black) sleeveless shift (with pockets!) trimmed with a cream colored reverse (upside down) ruffle on the bottom in what feels like silk organza. There’s no fabric tag that I can find so I looked up the composition online. The lining is silk and the main dress is a wool blend. I currently wear a 12 but I can fit snugly into this dress— I just would have to stay standing the whole time. The dress is tulip shaped so it tapers at the bottom and there is no stretch or give at the hem. I’ve included measurements below (all taken flat). Bust: 19.5” Waist: 20.5” Length: 35” There are pockets in the inner slip, which are accessible through the openings on either side of the dress. You’ll see in one of the photos that there’s a couple of slight pulls in the wool fabric by the left pocket but they’re hard to see unless you get really up close. (If someone uninvited gets that close to you, there’s a bigger issue at hand than the imperfect fabric.)
