3 Vintage Faux Ivory Powder Jars Celluloid Du Barry Pyralin England Containers

3 very nice storage containers made of celluloid. A plastic designed to mimic the likes of ivory. Originally held perfumed dusting powder. They date from the 1930’s and 40’s. Very good with no warping or cracks. General scratches and discoloration. These can be polished with plastic creams if you desire. Leaving that up to you. These tend to darken and acquire an uneven yellow ochre color as they age. One is stamped IVORY PY-RA-LIN By DU BARRY(a cosmetics company from the Edwardian/mid century era). One says ENGLISH IVORY ENGLAND The 3rd one had a label but it’s long gone. These haven’t been cleaned. In excellent reopened condtion with no cracks or damage.
