The Saint Detective Magazine was a pulp magazine that ran from 1953 to 1967. It was later renamed The Saint Mystery Magazine and then The Saint Magazine. Each issue featured a story about the character The Saint by Leslie Charteris, along with other quality mystery fiction. Due to their disposable nature, these magazines are hard to find today.
Three notable issues are:
Vol. 1, No. 1 (Spring 1953): The first issue, featuring "The Covetous Headsman" by Leslie Charteris, along with stories by Ben Hecht, Damon Runyon, Sax Rohmer, Mignon G. Eberhart, Cornell Woolrich, and Agatha Christie.
Vol. 9, No. 6 (June 1958): Includes "The Fast Women" by Charteris, and stories by G.K. Chesterton, Graham Greene, and Margery Allingham.
Vol. 25, No. 6 (October 1967): The final issue, featuring "The Power Artist" by Charteris, and stories by Michael Avallone and others.
All magazines are in good condition for their age. Issue 9, No. 6 has "15" written on the cover.
