These are vintage ceramic appetizer bowls from the 1960’s
*3 Shrimp Boats included
*1 Butter Boat included
Aloa-Chef (Eau Claire, WI) started these in the 1950’s (commissioned Red Wing Pottery to make them), but I read that Shrimp boats produced in the 60’s by Red Wing Pottery (for restaurants particularly) either say "Red Wing" or have no markings on the bottom at all. The ones in the 50’s have “Aloa-Chef” on the bottom. So that tells me these are from the 60’s and not from the earlier made ones in the 50’s, as they have no signing on them.
They’re a fun addition to the kitchen, great for appetizers and such, could honestly be some cute decor even. If you have any questions, let me know. I try my best to send offers to likers.
ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. There’s a tiny black speck on one of the shrimp boats bottoms but it goes easily unseen. The other markings you can see on the bottom are clearly just bubbles from the pottery making. No chips or cracks, etc. Please see photos ❤️
