@oceanbreeze3355 I don’t have a paperwork for how much I originally paid, but I do have the paperwork for the most recent appraisal which was much less. I can picture that here.

Hello, Do you have the GIA appraisal papers available for viewing?
Apr 20Reply

kwilkins0821
@blooplume Would you please post the GIA report?
Apr 20Reply

blooplume
@kwilkins0821 Yes, I have posted them before but they keep disappearing. I’m not sure why. I’ve never had that happen on any other listings. I will try again.

@jaguilarteaches probably a 6.5 or 7. I failed to have them check the size when I had it appraised, but I can find out for you! 😊

@jmevitali I am happy to try. I am in the middle of an estate sale right now that will run until Monday. I will try at that time. If you need a picture more urgently, let me know and I will see if I can put aside some time. 😊

@jmevitali Hi there! Sorry for the delay! I took a video of the ring, and I hope it helps. I will get a better picture when I can, but the pictures that I was trying to get today were not any better than the ones I already have on the listing. Thanks!

is it eye clean?
Sep 09Reply

blooplume
@aleciadinko I’m sorry, but I don’t know what that means. can you rephrase the question?
Sep 09Reply

aleciadinko
@blooplume oh, yes, if you look down from the top of it, can you see a bunch of inclusions or carbon? or is it eye clean? Hopefully the way I phrased it makes sense.
Sep 09Reply

blooplume
@aleciadinko I can’t see occlusions or carbon. That doesn’t mean they’re not there, it just means I don’t see any. I really wish I had more of a fine jewelry background so I could answer your question better. I would hate for you to purchase this ring and not be happy with it all because I didn’t know how to answer your question. 😊✌️
Sep 10Reply

blooplume
@aleciadinko or inclusions? Either way, I don’t see anything but diamond. But again, I’m not a jeweler, nor am I as informed as I could be about fine jewelry.

@leeyhamarie recently, it was. It was purchased 52 years ago by my father at an amount, I do not know, and it’s a long story that involves divorce, but my mother bought it back a couple of years ago at $21,900.

@blooplume can you post the GIA report, the one listed is the appraisal not the GIA report.
Jul 05Reply

blooplume
@diancik12 @diancik12 good question. I’m sorry, I do not have one. They did not provide GIA reports when this ring was created in the late 1940s. I suppose I could try to get one now, but I do not have one that came with the ring. I’m very sorry. Also, the box that it is in now is not where it was purchased. It’s just to keep it from gathering dust. I actually have no idea where it was created. But I will look into what it takes to get a GIA report.

claytonnkelsey
Hi can you post pictures of the ring in the sunlight? Your pictures are a little dark and video it’s moving to quickly. Is the diamond cloudy? I know for I1 clarity it will show inclusions just wondering how bad they are. Thank you
Feb 06Reply

claytonnkelsey
Also did you ever get a GIA report to give the color clarity and cut of the ring? The cut is important because if it’s not a good cut you won’t get any brilliance out of it. Please let me know when you get the time. Thank you again.
Feb 06Reply

blooplume
@claytonnkelsey Yeah, I don’t have a gia report and the expense of getting one is prohibitive for me. I understand your concerns. Thank you anyway!😊
