22KT GOLD TEACUP/SAUCER EMBOSSED RIMS,VINTAGE, RADISSON W.S.GEORGE QUALITY FINE CHINA, 1930's. 22kt Embossed Gold Tea/Expresso Cup and Saucer, Vintage, Fantastic!!! 1938-This set is drop dead gorgeous! Very Gently Used NO chips, cracks or discoloration. Each piece is trimmed in a wide 22kt gold band that is embossed with flowers and leaves. 2 1/2 inches tall (set) and 4 1/2 inches wide (saucer). Embossing is in excellent condition with no flaws. William Shaw George bought a controlling interest in the East Palestine Pottery Company located in Sebring, Ohio in 1904. He added a new plant and renamed the company the Continental China Company. In 1909, he changed the name to the W. S. George Pottery Company. The company produced semi-porcelain dinnerware, hotel ware, and toilet ware. After W. S. George died in 1925, his family continued to manage the business. When W. S.
