2009 Shriners "Potentate" Enamel Kachina Bolo Tie ~ Tie is 20" long, Bolo is 4" x 1.75" ~ Features a high quality enamel on metal ~ Tie is made of black and gold braided material that is very sturdy. ~ The tips are made of ornate gold metal ~ The slide mechanism lifts up to loosen and down to lock. ~ The back of the kachina slide is engraved 'JAMES G MILLER, POTENTATE 2009'. ~ One of a Kind (OOAK) design ~ Excellent condition, hasn't been worn Historical Information: A "potentate" in Shriners refers to the elected leader of a local Shriners chapter (or "Temple") and is also the title of the highest-ranking officer of the international fraternity, known as the Imperial Potentate.  Shriners' core beliefs center on being a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and philanthropy.
