2002 Official White House Historical Ornament Roosevelt Era Inspired Acrylic

This 2002 Official White House Historical Ornament reflects key design elements from the 1902 White House restoration carried out by architects McKim, Mead & White during the Theodore Roosevelt administration. The ornament draws inspiration directly from architectural and decorative details introduced during this important period in White House history. The center features a clear acrylic, crystal-like element meant to mirror the Bohemian glass chandeliers installed in the East Room at the time. Surrounding it is a brass-tone frame detailed with ribbon and acanthus leaf motifs modeled after the Louis XVI–style wall panels. An eagle finial crowns the ornament, inspired by the carved mahogany pedestals used for console tables during the restoration. The overall design is formal, balanced, and rooted in early 20th-century American neoclassical style. This piece is new and unused but does not include the original box.
