This is a limited edition screen print of 2001: A Space Odyssey (Zarathustra) by Nikita Kaun, created in 2016 as a private commission through Cult Classic Prints. Inspired by the film’s transcendent final sequence, the artwork depicts astronaut Dave Bowman’s transformation into the Star-Child—an iconic symbol of rebirth and cosmic evolution. The design features swirling red and white forms radiating from the astronaut’s chest, with a glowing fetus at the center, evoking themes of transformation and mystery.
This is the metallic silver ink variant, printed in a hand-numbered edition of only 45. This particular piece is #30/45, measuring approximately 24" x 36". It was produced using a four-color screen print technique and remains in near mint condition. It will be shipped securely in a heavy-duty Yazoo Mills tube to ensure safe delivery.
A striking and rare collectible for fans of Kubrick, sci-fi cinema, and contemporary poster art.
