joanne225
What kind of diamond is it?
Oct 26Reply

allurajewelry
@joanne225 simulated russian lab diamond— highest quality under a natural stone. The chemical composition is mostly carbon which is why the stone is such high quality. Lifetime warranty card is provided with the item
Oct 26Reply

joanne225
@merakidiamonds it is real diamond or is it like monasonite
Oct 26Reply

allurajewelry
@joanne225 looks closer to a real diamond and closer in chemical structure but in theory it’s more like a monasonite
Oct 26Reply

allurajewelry
@joanne225 to an untrained eye I’ve never had anyone be able to tell the difference between a Natural Diamond and this one—which saids a lot.
Oct 26Reply

joanne225
@merakidiamonds so it is very shine and it is like moissanite diamond
Oct 26Reply

joanne225

Is this available?
Dec 22Reply

alyxlulu
Also can you clarify what the stone is? You say simulated lab created. Do you mean a CZ/simulated or an actual lab created diamond?
Dec 22Reply

ccook2513
Is this a simulated diamond (cubic zirconia) or a lab created diamond (pure carbon)?
Jan 18Reply

allurajewelry
@ccook2513 these are lab diamonds—these are man made diamonds crystals infused into simulated crystals to create a diamond top that is made of pure carbon SP3 bonds (natural diamonds are all carbon). This procedure adds a thick layer of lattice in the surface of these stones which allows them to look and feel like authentic diamonds—these stones in their optical and physical properties are the closest synthetic diamonds come to a natural stone.
Jan 18Reply

allurajewelry
@ccook2513 They shine beautifully and to an untrained eye, impossible to differentiate from natural stones
Jan 18Reply

ccook2513
@merakidiamonds So just the top of the stone is pure carbon but underneath it is not? Simulated diamonds are called cubic zirconia so maybe that is where I am confused?
Jan 18Reply

allurajewelry
@ccook2513 CZ are gemstones composed of low quality materials and have NO carbon at all. A lab created diamond is pure carbon which is why is passses a diamond test. Simulated lab created diamonds are not the same in composition-some are are high quality and some are low quality depending on what their made of. These particular simulated stones are composed of pure carbon on the outer most layers which is why to the untrained eye they look like genuine diamonds but their layers
Jan 18Reply

allurajewelry
@ccook2513 underneath are not all carbon which makes them unique because most simulated stones have no carbon at all. I hope that makes sense!
Jan 18Reply

ccook2513
@merakidiamonds Okay thank you. I was looking for pure carbon lab created diamonds with no simulated diamond materials.
Jan 18Reply

allurajewelry
@ccook2513 oh yes, the price range of this item would be much higher if it was pure carbon. I'm sorry I could not help!

I love this necklace. You don’t by chance have a 18 inch chain though would you? 16 is a little short on my neck.
