2 piece Cheese or Butter Decorative Terracotta Storage Dome from Brazil

Terracotta 2 piece dish from Brazil Painted parrot & flowers Approximately 7.5" diameter Approximately 6" high I learned from Brazil native that due to the high cost of electricity there is no air conditioning and refrigerators are tiny. A typical breakfast is cheese and bread. Cheese is purchased every couple of days and stored in a dome such as this at room temperature. Exterior is spotless. There is a small chip on the base interior as shown.
