2 White Mid-century Milk Glass Vases 1 starburst 2 signed CLG Co ribbed each - sold separately - each vase is numbered either 1 or 2 please select the vase by number - Vase 1 Starburst - is a vintage mid-century white milk glass bud vase, commonly identified as having a "Starburst" or "Diamond Quilted" pattern. This vases was popular during the mid-20th century.  The vase is not marked but this style is often associated with manufacturers like Hoosier Glass or Anchor Hocking. The vase is approximately 9 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Vase 2 Ribbed - is a mid-century white milk glass bud vase that features vertical ribbing or fluting along its body and a gently scalloped or flared rim at the top. This vase is signed Carr-Lowrey Glass Company (CLG Co). The mark is hard to read so I took two photos of the mark see photos 7 & 8. This vases was popular during the mid-20th century and was copied by other manufacturers. This vase is approximately 9 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Both bases are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Vase 2 has a mold mark on the base which is original to the vase see photo 9. Also notice that both vases look slightly blue on photos when they are laid on their side. This is due to the presence of trace elements like manganese causing fluorescence under certain light conditions. This is a key indicator of its age and authenticity to collectors.
