Set of two (2) Terracotta Freestyle Bowls or Plates #11330521 by Steelite International Performance Craft. Made in England. 9 Each measures 9.5" long, 8.25" wide, and 1 1/2" Tall at the highest point of the rim. Very heavy stoneware. Holds 32oz. Oval in shape with an organic oblong shape and one higher edge rim. The item is hand decorated, no two pieces are exactly alike, with differences in the color, trim, & pattern of brown speckles, etc. This adds to the individuality of the piece and its rustic charm. In good pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, utensil marks, or crazing. Very minimal top surface wear - but bases do have some marks from use. Clean. Maker’s mark on base. All Steelite dishes have three tiny rough spots on the underside from the manufacturing process. The piece is supported during the glazing process on three small refractory pins.
