Set of two puzzles made by Ravensburger- specifically, by Otto Maier Verlag Ravensburg. These are beautifully illustrated puzzles that are a thick cardboard inside of a cardboard tray. One puzzle is called “Where Animals Live” and has 46 pieces. It was made in West Germany in 1988. Design: Günther Marks. It depicts a gorgeous nature picture with beautiful detail including many types of wildlife and foliage. Under some of these pieces you can see a black and white image of what it looks like inside the animal’s habitat. Second puzzle has 45 pieces and was made in Germany in 1991. Design: Hermann Wernhard. It depicts the classic biblical scene of Noah’s Ark in which many animals enter the ark before the big flood. Behind many of these pieces you can see a peek at inside the ark and the land and waters behind. Only one corner of one piece on the Noah’s Ark puzzle is slightly bent.
